Productivity Heaven
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is where I can bring everything in my life together. My favorite new features are the AI and the buttons feature. Both have helped me create useful workflows that save me time and keep me from getting bogged down with repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is great. The only drawback is the learning curve. Notion does so much that it can be overwhelming, but luckily, there is a great community online that gives excellent tutorials and tips. But once you get the hang of it, you can do almost anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me track my projects, create productive workflows, and collect and organize relevant articles, insights and learnings. The AI is like my personal editor and helps me craft emails, review and correct copy, and summarize my reading.

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of Notion. I love that I can do so much with simple and complex tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike my own inexperience with Notion. Understanding the best way to use the platform with more complex tasks is sometimes challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me keep track of tasks, notes, CRM, and also functions as a supplemental digital journal.
Notion AI is a great companion.
What do you like best about the product?
For me, as a non-native English user, it is an amazing help in writing anything. The grammar, spelling correction, and translation are excellent. Notion AI has helped me find other ways to present my thoughts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion is a little bit pricy for me. I wish I could buy only access to AI feature withoit upgrading to paid plan of Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion let me keep my notes organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion helps me organise my life. It's honestly a fantastic place to keep everything meaningful to me. For example, I use Notion to track my university classes and grades, specifically for my dissertation; I keep all my sources and things together in it. I genuinely love Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes find it tricky to create the look and feel of the pages I want. For example, using the columns within Notion is a bit tricky. However, once you quickly search for help on the web or in help, it becomes much more evident.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is solving the problem of having multiple vital sources of information, research, or knowledge and helping me store it in one place. For example, my university organises grades very poorly, and there's no one page to view how I'm doing overall. I've since built that page in Notion, and it's excellent!
Notion is a fantastic app to use for students
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has always been a phenomenal application to use as a database organizer. I use it to manage my education for my class notes, assignments, brainstorming, and every thing in between. Notion AI has made Notion even more great by implementing an assistant for my notes. I can use it to check for the definition of scientific words, ask it questions, clarify parts of class notes, and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion still needs to be operational during offline use. Having offline use that will update itself to the cloud would be amazing, similar to Anki, but automatically instead. The AI system for Notion also needs to be able to generate answers outside of the notes in the Notion document. For example, I may ask Notion AI for the function of a protein, but it will only generate what is on the Notion document instead of searching for outside sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had issues with organizing notes and having a study tool. With Notion's customizability, I'm able to use one program for all of my use cases!
A full service solution!
What do you like best about the product?
There are several things I like best about Notion. The templates make it easy to get started using the product, the wide range of usage for various different use cases is incredible, and collaborating with teammates through the shared functionality is seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way that I could open two saved pages with one docked on the right. This is capable. When you are viewing a page and then opening or creating a new page or new subpage, you can have the primary page open and start creating a new page with a docked on the right. However, haven't figured out how to do it with pages I've already created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The new AI writing assistant has been so helpful with cleaning up grammar, spelling mistakes, and helping to improve my writing based on tone and audience. Having this feature has made creating knowledge-based articles and instructions faster and simpler.

Notion has core features that allow us to custom-design efficient information sharing and workflow systems across multiple projects with our small team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One use case that would help us manage external partnerships we cannot do currently because we cannot limit external user access to specific records in a shared database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion to manage our projects a wide range of projects, including events, grantmaking, and resource development. Integration via Zapier to Google Forms/Sheets, Stripe, and EventCreate makes Notion a one-stop tool for our whole team. We have virtually eliminated email as the primary communication vehicle for our staff. Comments in Notion are context-specific, taking the recipient to the exact spot on a page or database entry where they can review and respond.
The best solution is the one you can build
What do you like best about the product?
That you can customize and create exactly what you need. Notion gives you so many tools (and keeps adding more) to create the exact solution for your needs. It has everything from a simple writing app to a full system for creating a second brain, a CMR, or even a collaboration tool for your business with endless possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion has a sort of steep learning curve. And I guess that is where it resides its power. You need to tinker and try a lot to get the best of it, which can be frustrating. The good thing is there an evergrowing community and plenty of people talking about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For starters, Notion is my second brain. This is where I have created a system to combine my personal and professional life. I can have all the Areas of my life in order, develop Projects for each of them and assign them Tasks and Resources. I also have a habit tracker, a library of grabbed links from the internet, and there are always many ideas on how to do more. Recently, it has been so helpful in helping me write content for some courses I am creating. I am highly impressed with how it manages translating and content creation in Spanish.

What do you like best about the product?
The new Notion AI assistant has been a game changer for me, allowing me to save hours of work by crafting summaries and follow-up emails to potential clients and my team. Notion AI helps me get unavoidable admin work done more quickly, freeing me up to focus on high-level development work (that's also more profitable!). That’s where I thrive, and Notion AI makes it more possible.
I am also keeping a robust habit tracker and energy log. Notion AI's ability to review the data and reflection notes, and then report on key themes, patterns and insights, is amazing. I have made changes in my habits based on the reports I've run, acheiving significant benefits I couldn't have seen otherwise.

What do you dislike about the product?
My most significant downside is not being able to highlight number cells in a database and see a quick total like you can in other spreadsheet apps. It only allows you to see totals from an entire database or calculations based on how you group the view. So, you can do it. It just takes more steps than I prefer.
Another limitation is the inability to bulk change the due dates of tasks and milestones relative to one another. I would like to be able to link the due dates of a set of related tasks, so that if one date changes, it automatically affects the rest of the related tasks. Currently, this has to be done manually as there is no automated way to accomplish this. (Unless there is a formula that can do this that I'm not aware of!)

Notion solves two problems for me. The first is customizing my productivity and knowledge management to work the way I think. The second is to have a centralized place to manage productivity and knowledge for my team (and family!). Overall, this has saved me time and allowed me to focus on more creative and profitable projects. Also, it's just so clean, simple and beautiful to work with. No clutter. No overwhelm.
