Notion's UI Has Won Me Over from Word
What do you like best about the product?
The UI of notion is amazing. I find myself utilizing Notion over Word although Word is engraved in my head. Notion has really grown on myself and my team at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do find some functionalities such as 'starting a new line' harder, such as pages where you can't click next to one to press enter and start a line after it and between the next line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of use for Notion has helped with my task keeping tremendously alone, however, the customizability and numerous ways to utilize Notion has made my OCD brain so happy!
Versatile Tool with Great Features but Needs Mobile Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion for organizing my business tasks because it helps me consolidate everything in one place, from launching courses to revamping my blog. The AI feature makes note-taking for meetings a breeze. I also find the financial and marketing templates extremely useful, along with the ability to upload CSVs. Notion's integration capabilities, especially with apps like ChatGPT and Google Dashboard, streamline my workflow. Plus, it's affordable and offers a robust suite of features to effectively manage projects, teams, and brainstorming sessions. A bonus is the Notion calendar, which integrates all my calendars seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the mobile app underwhelming, particularly on iPads, where it doesn't work great. This is frustrating because I use iPads a lot, and improving how the app functions on this device would be incredibly helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize business projects, streamline content scheduling, and take notes for meetings, all in one place. Its AI tool and templates enhance my productivity and integration capabilities, providing an affordable all-in-one solution.
Great Templates and Formatting, but Steeper Learning Curve Than Google Docs
What do you like best about the product?
I like the templates that you can choose from, ease of being able to build different formats in a doc, ease of putting in pictures and graphics
What do you dislike about the product?
Find it harder to learn and more confusing than google docs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our EPD team mostly stores all of their work there so I go there to review it more so than to actually draft things in it. I like the notion Ai function
Effortless Table Creation with AI Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to make tables using the AI tool that would otherwise take me a lot of manual entry
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super intuitive sometimes on how to do things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing our team with one space to find support materials. The AI factor makes buildign this out seamless
Best AI for Business Knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
It's the best example of AI in business knowledge I've found to date. There is learning curve, especially for people who are not used to the flexibility but it's the flexibility that gives it the edge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI seems slightly slower than other chatbots. It can feel overwhelming starting with a blank page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note taking but not having to join the team's call to do it, can take notes via the mobile app which is a bonus.
The collaborative features of everyone working of the same tasks is great.
The AI search across all our documentation is great and a game changer.

Flexible and Frequently Updated, but Pricing Could Be More User-Based
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is whatever you make it. It’s super malleable software, great for teams to optimize to fit their own needs. The team also ships often, with quality product updates happening much more frequently than it does for equally sized software products.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a couple things I don’t like as much. 1) Some users are power users and some aren’t. Paying the same license price for someone who seldom uses the product, as you do for someone who uses it often, is not ideal. I’d like the ability to assign licenses by user, in order to not have everyone on the expensive business plan. 2) It can sometimes be overwhelming getting everything up to a usable state, it’s definitely a lot of work init of itself. But this has improved with the agents update, though I still have issues when I ask it to move or reorganize stuff, it’ll just create new duplicate items instead and disregard my instructions to not do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us stay organized. I can ask the AI a question about, for example, our data and analytics stack, and it’ll pull specific examples from all of our app wikis.
We’re a film studio, so having the meeting notes is awesome too. Taking notes during a creative discussion can really bog down the mood.

Compared to competitors in pay for play but also free, this is Notion is great.
Maybe if I could integrate or convert all my apple notes to notion pages/folders effectively so I could totally move away from apple notes.... that would be coool

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing notes, sharing information and managing complex projects
Proud To Use Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I like how organized it keeps my files and documentation. It helps with project management, and I like the AI writing assistant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could ask notion to do more for me, I working on learning how to use the AI Agents for writing assistance and project management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay organized and efficient at work by combining multiple tools into one platform. It allows me to manage client information, track progress notes, create templates for PRP documentation, and plan workshops all in one place. This reduces the need to switch between different apps, saves time, and keeps everything structured and easy to find. Overall, Notion helps me streamline my workflow and stay on top of tasks more effectively.
Great All-in-One Organizer, but Needs Better Google Calendar Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how everything that I need is in one place. It’s a great organization tool instead of using multiple different apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding things from my Google Calendar to my notion calendar and being able to connect it to a goal. I have my workouts planned through Runna and that syncs with my Google calendar but when I try to connect those events to notion goals I can’t.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me delegate or determine what tasks need to be prioritized first. It also helps keep me on schedule.
Notion: Our Central Hub with Powerful AI
What do you like best about the product?
It’s honestly become our central brain. We use Notion to keep everything in one place—brand catalogs, finish codes, pricing notes, and vendor contacts—so we’re not digging through endless PDFs or old email threads anymore.
The AI writing tool is a game changer. I use it to draft client emails, product blurbs, and even social captions—it nails the tone I want and saves a ton of time.
Search actually works, which sounds small but is huge. I can type something like “Atoll daybed spec sheet” or “Meridiani René care” and it pulls up exactly what I need in seconds.
And the databases make project tracking so much easier. We use them for client projects, room selections, lead times, and installs—it’s all visual, organized, and easy to update on the fly.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only real limitation I’ve run into is with Notion AI and large PDFs. If a file is over a certain size, it can’t pull data or summarize from it, which can be tricky when you’re working with big vendor catalogs or spec books. It would be great if AI search could handle heavier files or at least preview them faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding info fast (instead of chasing PDFs/emails). AI search + linked pages mean I can pull specs, finish codes, and pricing notes in seconds on the showroom floor—less back-and-forth, fewer mistakes.
Turning messy notes into usable briefs. After vendor calls or site visits, I drop rough notes in and use AI to summarize action items and next steps—keeps projects moving.
Writing client-ready comms quickly. AI drafts emails, product blurbs, and IG captions in the tone I want (“firm but warm”), so proposals go out faster.
Keeping projects organized end-to-end. Databases + AI help track selections, lead times, and install checklists across multiple rooms/clients—easy status updates for the team.
Onboarding and knowledge transfer. New teammates can search one workspace (policies, vendor contacts, SOPs) instead of asking five people—less “institutional memory” risk.
