Excellent for cross team collab

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Notion easily allows multiple people to work on the same page at the same time. So handy knowing where everyone is and what changes they've made!

My org uses it as our internal knowledge base so it's been super handy to be able to see the previous iterations of the pages and know where processes have changed.

It's also really handy for using as a kanban board, I put my to-do list in Notion and each week gets it's own column of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search bar could use a lot of work! It never really seems to find what I'm looking for. We've taken to putting 'SEO keywords' at the top of every page in the hope that the search bar finds the page you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pre-Notion we found a lot of important processes and other bits ended up on Google Docs or saved in someone's Gdrive. When they left the business, it then became a monumental effort to find what we were looking for.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little bit hard to stay organized if you have a lot of pages

Truly one of the best online workspace + database websites out there.

What do you like best about the product?
Awesome formats and databases that cater to any form of data you need to record, Great for planning & creating shared company databases. It's easily sharable, and the no.1 spot in which I do all my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I appreciate the structured formatting and easy to read layout, I don't like that there is no free-format whiteboarding for brainstorms/drawing boards. Also, allow for left/centre/right alignment, please.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Company database and shared workspaces. It's the one place in which I place down all my company's marketing, email, website + ad copy and all my coworkers can refer to, change, and add to it. Vice Versa.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perfect for organising your work/life, whether it's managing projects to taking notes.

What do you like best about the product?
Openness. The ability to do whatever comes to my mind, no edges, just an infinitive playground. The games have an open-world map, the business has Notion.

Speed. I spent a lot of time creating web apps to do the stuff that with Notion I can do in minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of room for improvement.
- Missing Linux native app is the biggest problem. The web app is slow.
- Speed might start to be a problem over time.
- It's too easy to delete everything by mistake.
- Missing simple ID in databases (starting from 1 and having auto-increment)
- Sharing just a linked view (with filters)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It basically solves everything I need personally and for running a company. From HR, Product/Project Management, to Knowledge Sharing.
Personally, I used it as a 2nd brain.

Can't think of anything to be honest I really love Notion.

Knowledge collection, project management, team collaboration,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notion is great for keeping records and managing areas of your business. I would say to get the best out of Notion try you're best to use and learn the database structures and how they can work best for your needs

The more I use Notion, the more I like it

What do you like best about the product?
Specifically, I was on the lookout for a way to build a knowledge base with our research findings, so that as a team we can easily review past research. I trialled a couple of tools out there but in the end, opted to build a Notion database and it works perfectly for our needs. We saved money, but more importantly kept everything in one ecosystem on Notion, improving the likelihood of our team using the knowledge base. I like to work away in my private docs before moving them up to shared pages too. The possibilities seem endless once you've scratched the surface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Much like working in a Google Doc, sometimes I have to be really careful when moving things around! It's a very minor dislike, not a serious glitch. Some of the more complicated functions are less obvious and initially, I thought Notion was text focussed, but it didn't take me long to learn them which opened up a whole array of possibilities for managing my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with the team and keeping everything in one place while looking visually appealing (it's not crucial, but adds a lot). Integration with Slack helps with this. Ease of navigation that works better than G Drive

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and to set up. You can set up any database and process in a few minutes and in any way you are familiar to do (board, list, to-do list etc)
what i really appreciate is how the Notion team managed to create the all-in-one tool so easy, light and very powerful at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some decent details like print options and settings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a task manager and corporate wiki + connect suppliers and partners.

What do you like best about the product?
In one word VERSATILITY. Notion can be a solution for so many use cases that it feels like the only thing you need for managing all documentation needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much but maybe the usage speed at some times in some operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion for documenting anything that requires to be defined and shared from HR policies to product specs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look no further!

Notion is the Swiss Army Knife of productivity apps!

What do you like best about the product?
The modular nature and lack of structure are the best features of Notion. It's a bit hard to wrap your head around at first but once you're in you can do virtually anything with it!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a major issue but I think the UI is not as solid/ intuituve as it could be. I suppose it's inevitable with the modular and freeform nature of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Up until recently, I used Notion for personal work and only recently started using it for collaboration. Notion elegantly solves the problem of working with unstructured content with teams.

An Operational System for Your Company

What do you like best about the product?
The strength of Notion resides in its flexibility. Because of the different types of blocks that can be rearranged in infinite layouts, it can act as a Knowledge Base, an Intranet, a Strategy/OKR Board, Team Directory and so on… The possibilities are endless. It's the central piece of software that enables a lean and agile company.
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is aiming to be used professionally, it has to evolve to be faster and more reliable. Although flexible, the way it was built, as a web app, requires it to be online to work (no caching or offline syncing) and the navigation is clunky, as it is required to reload the whole interface with every new screen you navigate to. It's usable, but a front-end overhaul is needed for it to achieve excellence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is our company's central hub, aligning vision, progress and simplifying communication. It also reduces new team member onboarding friction, because it focus all the learning curve on a single tool.
