A Powerful project management tool

  • November 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is powerful product management & project management platform. Tagging, searching, and creating tasks, cards, etc. is a breeze. Once you've created an information architecture, it's very easy to create new views, tables and lists to help keep track of your tasks and projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve with using the product. If you have a lot of information in Notion, it's pretty easy to get lost and sometime the site has to reload, especially on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped my company stay on top of product launches and customer pain points. It's been a great way to show employees how we're tracking with some projects and allows them to easily see how we're tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would experiment with how you use the platform as one way can seem clunky and you can reorganize tables and tags to better fit your needs

Amazing Product

  • November 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is awesome for writing to do lists and keeping things organized. They have premade templates that make it really easy to use and customize to what you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it was similar to one note where you could write anywhere on the page. Notion limits you to the middle of the page. But overall a small flaw in a good product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product is good for keeping tasks organized and having a central place to keep to do's with the ability to customize it the way you want. It's ability to be accessed anywhere online is a huge plus.

Great place to document and share!

  • November 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the different integration we can make: link to page, embed, integrate databases, tack, add a basic block, or type. It's very pleasing to the eye and easy to link multiple pages across teams for different stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little restricting, and the training phase to get used to Notion is long. It's not clear how to create your templates based on a page that has already been made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication across different teams in the company. For me, it is primarily used to document all the processes and training. It's also used to track OKR's and take meeting minutes so that everything is easily accessible to everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your employees or users use Notion often. Otherwise, the learning time or how easily they can find documentation meant for them is going to be slow.

Notion is the bridge between your personal note-taking vs professional documentation!

  • November 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Foremostly, the entry barrier to signing up on Notion is literally nothing, unlike its competitors of the likes of Confluence. Therefore, Notion acts as a superb tool for your personal notes as well as sharing of documentation within your professional spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
After a certain while, Notion does seem to hit its bottlenecks. Most important would be its limitations for a free tier account. For a hardcore professional use case, Notion gets to its saturation of free tier, even before your team realizes its true potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We built a lot of knowledge-transfer, and SOPs for external communications with our clients. The ability to easily share a Notion page with people on the internet, is a superpower this tool has.

The Best Collaboration and Knowledge Repository Hands Down

  • November 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Content organization, team dictation and collaboration, integrations to external platforms, controlled access to pages, and various ways to curate/store content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the block positionings are a bit confusing, i.e., trying to configure images and text side-by-side. I also think the majority of users would benefit from access to more training videos and tutorials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to seamlessly create, manage, and store multiple forms of content specific to each department in one easily accessible location. Before Notion, we used to have several privately owned instances of knowledgebase repositories, notes, Google Docs/Sheets, etc., that were impossible to query for the information we needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a straightforward solution to address any knowledge sharing/repository needs across disparate departments, you found it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's actual straightforward and natural to utilize. I appreciate that this choice capacities a ton like a combination of slack and one note. I have all the note taking programming projects, agendas, bookkeeping pages. I wanted something that can house everything, and was fast. Thought does all of that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly, very little. Now and again it's somewhat delayed to stack, however I like the various classifications you can set up dependent on what you need and how that means you making a durable and business-like timetable of the multitude of things your groups need to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really wanted a full reference programming that houses, fast connections, agendas, notes.

What do you like best about the product?
Productivity and task tools integrated in just one app. Notion offers a clear user interface, avoiding distractions and including lots of features from other productivity and team collaboration apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion have impressed me and my team and we switched from other task and productivity tools and apps to Notion. So, no dislikes so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From the organization of our different projects, documents, guidelines, commenting, interaction with our company team, sharing specific content with our clients to efficient task lists and calendars.

More than just Note Taking with Notion

  • October 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Complete customizable, you can reference tables and pages inside other pages, which makes it easy to only have to edit things in one area versus many areas. You can embed photos, videos, links, and more basically building a 'website' of a database for everything you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some trial and error and watching videos or reading help docs to really understand what you are doing and get the most out of the customizations and flow of pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives us the ability to reference help docs across multiple pages and easily search information. This avoids duplication or outdated info.

Great for recording training materials

  • October 27, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is easy to use and has an intuitive interface. It's a lot like a word processor, but with the added abillity to embed multimedia. It's also easy for the end user to navigate through.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike having to log in via an emailed code every time. I wish there was a username and password login method.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I started my job as a graphic designer at a health & wellness company, we had a few onboarding tutorials and SOPs on Notion because the other graphic designer was remote. Over a couple years I built out really robust employee onboarding & SOP tutorials, so robust that I actually consulted it for a lot of things even though I wrote it, and that we started using it to onboard the non-designers on our team too. I like that it's easy to embed multimedia because that's definitely needed for design-focused tutorials. And I like being able to add links really easily, even cross-reference links within Notion. The click-and-drag function is especially good for easy formatting. I don't know any other program that would have worked as well for what I did.
