Customization and Collaboration with Some Glitches
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for the opportunity to collaborate and the ability to customize. It's great to see everything and link things through various parts of the project. Notion helps in putting lots of complex parts together and allows me to see everything that's interconnected, which makes it easier than using Google Docs for project management and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it can be quite glitchy. I find it can be very boring. Doesn't have enough color, and I use color a lot to differentiate between different ideas. I really struggle that it doesn't have a basic Excel or spreadsheet function to do basic calculations. And tracking. And I really wish that it was cheaper. It's really expensive to run by person rather than by business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me put together conflicting parts, see everything interconnected, and manage projects more easily than Google Docs by allowing customization and linking all parts of the project.

Collaboration Made Effortless with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion has a lot of collaboration features. When I share a document, I can see who's looking at it at the same time and who has seen it. Other people can contribute comments to the document, and we can all collaborate in a single place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion provides a centralized place to save documents and share company processes with employees. It solves issues with not having a centralized location for shared documents, unlike our previous use of Google Docs. The collaboration features allow us to see who views or edits documents in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion for communicating with my team. I find it convenient to have all information in a single place, along with data reporting and visualizations. I like the AI features and the ease of use, making the setup simple and similar to Confluence.

I think Notion could benefit from adding advanced charting and graph features similar to Excel.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love using Notion for college; it has transformed my study experience! One of my favorite features is the AI assistant bot. It’s incredibly helpful it not only cleans up my notes but also organizes my brainstorming drafts in a way that makes everything so much clearer. The recommendations, corrections, and refinements it offers for my writing are invaluable. I genuinely believe it’s the best tool for academic work I’ve ever used! Additionally, the calendar feature deserves a shout-out as well. Syncing my Google Calendar with Notion is extremely effective for me as a busy college student. It keeps everything in one place and helps me manage my time efficiently, ensuring I never miss an important deadline or event. Overall, Notion has truly become an essential part of my academic life!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like one thing about Notion is the AI note taker, I find it a bit disruptive when I try to record on my phone and it automatically stops recording when it powers off. I did this during one of my important lectures and it didn't record anything at all. It was very difficult to learn at first, but through tutorials and also watching YouTube I adapted.

Notion is an essential tool for me when it comes to organizing my courses, taking notes, tracking my to-do lists, and documenting class sections. It’s incredibly versatile! The AI assistant within Notion really enhances my productivity by cleaning up my notes, organizing my drafts, and offering valuable recommendations. One of the most effective strategies I've implemented is syncing my Google Calendar with Notion. This integration is a game-changer for managing my hectic schedule as a college student, ensuring I stay on top of all my commitments and deadlines. It's all about maximizing efficiency!

It's super customizable, has beautiful UI, and is shortcut friendly for formatting and writing docs!

Wish it was easier to find documents w/o using the AI tool, and wish the AI tool was faster (particularly for less intense prompts like finding a doc)

Excellent Markdown Support for Code Snippets and Well-Organized Pages
What do you like best about the product?
Markdown support. As a developer, architect, and tech writer having an easy way to show code snippets is king when it comes to documentation. How pages are organized and embedding elements into the page is greate.
What do you dislike about the product?
When transcribing a meeting, it would be nice to include the call recording. Sometimes it doesn't get transcribed well and there is no way to reference the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization of many documents. I am also integrating Notion into my workflows for document repos and knowledge management. This is critical to a growing company that is moving fast.
