Meeting Transcription and Notes That Keep Me Fully Present
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature that Notion has to offer is the meeting transcription and note-taking. I love how it can consolidate all notes and next steps into concise bullet points. It allows me to pay attention to the meeting I’m in, instead of worrying about taking my own notes or missing something important.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m having trouble connecting it to all of my apps (email, Slack, etc.), and so far no one has been able to show me how to fix it or assist me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note-taking efficiencies.
AI-Powered Note-Taking with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Notion allows me to use the AI meeting notes to quickly capture all my meetings efficiently and store them into a database to build a knowledge base. Organizing meeting notes is pretty intuitive, and I appreciate the meeting summary feature. I use Notion as a hub for my project management where I can keep all my notes, instructions, and Wikis in one place. It's also easy to create databases that house all my project agreements and to show different views on different pages while keeping the source of truth in one database. The Notion AI is particularly helpful for quickly putting together new pages or clarifying notes that I currently have. Being able to organize agreements into a database, including important details, allows me to efficiently monitor agreements and budgets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the AI meeting minutes or meeting notes could be improved. Right now, whenever people are talking, it doesn't know who is speaking, so it puts together notes. And sometimes the individual that it decides action items to is incorrect because it wasn't sure who is speaking or who is being spoken to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to quickly capture meeting notes and store them in a database, building a knowledge base to reference past meetings. It serves as a hub for project management, organizing notes and instructions in the same place.
Collaborative Powerhouse for Document Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can create team spaces and documents that belong to that space, allowing me to collaborate with my team in real time on documents. Notion makes it easy for me to collaborate and brainstorm with my team asynchronously, and it helps keep team documents organized and easily searchable. The searching feature works pretty well, especially when I'm looking for a company-wide document but don't know exactly where it is. Creating and using pages is another aspect that I value. I like that when I copy all the content of a page, it's copied as markdown. Additionally, the initial setup of Notion was easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like Notion can do a lot. It sometimes can feel hard to understand or even know what features are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for storing, sharing, and analyzing documents with my team. It makes it easy to collaborate and brainstorm asynchronously, keeps documents organized and easily searchable, and allows real-time document collaboration. Overall, search works pretty well and supports finding company-wide documents efficiently.
Intuitive with Powerful AI Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI function in Notion because it helps me find info I can't locate easily from searching across different databases. Just being able to prompt it and easily find information or double check is really valuable. The initial setup of Notion was pretty easy and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find maybe understanding how to make sure the different data sources are plugged in or connected to Notion challenging. I'd like a tutorial to help with this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for looking up files and taking notes. It helps me find info I can't easily find from searching different databases.
Notion: The Ideal Collaborative Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ergonomics of Notion. The ability to organize and highlight text is instinctive and intuitive, much better than a Google Sheet. I also appreciate the possibility of collaboration while respecting confidentiality. It's very practical to be able to invite anyone you want to one or more Notion pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when someone invites us to a Notion page, we receive a notification by email. I find it complicated to find all the Notion pages that have been shared with us if we don't keep the email. When everyone in the company uses it and creates lots of pages, it is sometimes very complicated to find what we are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us align internally, structure decision-making, ensure visibility on project progress, and facilitate collaboration while respecting confidentiality.
Flexible All-in-One Tool with a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for project management and as a knowledge database management tool. It's an all-in-one database that helps me streamline workflows, manage my life and work in a structured way, and collaborate with others. I think the most attractive feature is its flexibility, allowing users to define their own use cases and structure the database and dashboard according to their preferences. I particularly like the Notion AI function which embeds major language models and can further streamline tasks within the platform. The integration was smooth, as I have Notion embedded with my Gmail and Calendar. When researching investment targets, Notion efficiently populates relevant company information for me, which I find very efficient. Overall, I am highly likely to recommend Notion to a friend or colleague, rating it a 9 or 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the learning curve is a bit high for Notion. I personally put in around 10 hours to get started by looking at all the various tutorials. Maybe figuring out how the setup could be more user-friendly would be helpful for Notion to attract more customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion streamlines my workflows by providing an all-in-one database that helps manage work and life more efficiently and facilitates collaboration.
Essential Tool for Collaboration and Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's clean interface. It feels like you're using an application without even thinking about it, similar to how Google apps feel. It seems like it's a tool that should have always existed. I think the clean interface really stands out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think when sprint planning, I noticed a few things that I wanted to be better. On Notion, like dragging tickets into a new sprint or carrying over tickets to a new sprint, I found difficult. I couldn't just drag a ticket, select a new page, and then drop it into a sprint lane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for note organization, central document storage, and sprint planning for my company.
Flexible, Connected Sandbox That Adapts to Our Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I the ability to change things and adapt it to what I need. It feels like it is a large sandbox that is connected which makes things nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part is getting used to the UI and bringing all the data over. It would be nice to have a way to import the Google Sheet that I use for organization into it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Notion is solving is having easy access and sharing of documents and knowledge. It's kind of a fix for the Google Drive that you can't find anything in.
One-Stop Productivity Powerhouse Boosting Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Notion helps streamline my work processes and find shortcuts, making daily tasks more efficient. It’s been great for personal use too, like creating lists and travel itineraries. The AI features are fantastic for editing my resume and detailing my tasks at work better than I could on my own. Notion is very accessible and easy to learn, with a learning curve that's not difficult at all. It combines features from other productivity apps, eliminating the need to switch between programs, which I really enjoy. Notion is like a one-stop-shop for many tasks, making it quite valuable and enjoyable to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Notion, the only issues I think I've run across is that using the AI feature to jazz up a document by adding emojis or different coloring patterns, a lot of times, it doesn't grab everything that I needed to do. So probably something I would want to have improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to streamline my work processes and daily tasks, making everything more efficient. It's invaluable for updating my resume since it organizes and enhances job details. Not having to switch between different programs for tasks makes it a one-stop shop for me.
Highly Customizable, Team Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Notion's high level of customization and the variety of features and automations that make it easy to handle a wide range of tasks. The task management capabilities are great, and I love having centralized documentation. There's a lot of flexibility with how sections can be organized and what they can include. I also find it helpful to link previews and customize fields for each task, allowing me to adapt the setup depending on whether it's a creative task or something like an audience update. Being able to have everything in one platform, and with more ability to customize, emphasizes Notion's value over other platforms I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The level of customization leaves a lot of deep menus within menus and it's really hard to find certain things. There's so many hidden features and contextual places you'd need to click or highlight in order to pull up certain actions. Having a larger toolbar would be amazing to help organize actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for task organization, team management, and process automation. It solves problems around organization, visibility, and workflow. It offers great task management, centralized docs, and customizable fields, allowing for a versatile and streamlined platform.
