Everyone needs to be on Notion
What do you like best about the product?
How revolutionary it is! It truly is one of the best pieces of software I have used in years. It has many different features rolled into one place - it's like having Excel, Word, OneNote, SharePoint, OneDrive and PowerPoint in one place. The Database functionality is fantastic (Excel take notes). It is like an avid user has built it with all the parts that Excel is missing. Also, having integrations with Zapier has been a life saver, the forms to Notion functionality has helped the adoption of Notion! We're hoping within a year, the whole company will be avid Notion users!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't that much to fault, I would say the main improvement is the ability to have paragraphs and not for text to be broken into lines. Makes it easier when building templates into Notion and then copying them into emails for example! Also, I'd love to see a duplicate and move function instead of them being two separate functions as I do a lot of copying and moving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business, everything was everywhere. Everyone worked slightly differently and it was hard to look at past work, we would start again at the start of every project. With Notion, we're able to build project templates for our employees to use again and again. It is easy to search for past projects to find examples of work. We're looking at Notion now as a library of information for the company!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it!! It's a leap of change but well worth it!
Nice tool that include all
What do you like best about the product?
The way of sharing with other colleges the pages and how is display
What do you dislike about the product?
Missing easy integration with other tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expecting that since notion bought Cron, we can synchronize better the calendars in notion
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integration should be more simple
Beautiful UI, really good tools, however many of my colleague give me feedback it's too hard to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The Board view, drag & drop experience between the different views of the same database. Strongly customised experience for every industry. The ability to share as a public page so I can hosted it on my website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Timeline view is not good enough. I like the gantt chart in Clickup more. Also and ability to sync with Google Calendar is really important, I've used Zapier or Automate.io, both have a very serious problem that you can only *create* but you cannot edit the event created on Google Calendar, that is really annoying. Also recurring task is important for to-do list database, I know I can use automate.io to create recurring task, but that feature is quite important to have in-built I guess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The share as public website feature provide a simple CMS for my non-technical staff to update some news / jobboard on our website. This is really good. Also it act as a performance management tool for us to record all meeting minutes.
Notion is the best tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is very easy to use, and extremely flexible so you can build your workspace in the way it works best for you. I use it in my personal and professional life. It's a game changer to organize, document and manage tasks/projects. The product is always improving based on Customer Feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the professional workspace we have a difficulty related to shared permissions of diferent views of a database. We found an workaround, so It's not really a problem, but I dislike the need to use the workaround in order to have the right permission set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to have all the information in only one platform. So instead of using a platform for documentation, another to manage task, another to build simple spreadsheets, we can have it all in one place.
And Notion has a lot of integrations that allow us to automize proccess, generate especific notifications and so much more.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are excelent communities to learn tips about Notion. I learned a lot on reddit. And so many people love Notion that it's really easy to find templates and people to talk about it!
love it, so much that you can do!
What do you like best about the product?
the versatility of everything. there's so much that you can do. like how you can pretty much run a company through it and it gives a professional looking place to communicate with clients
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the little bugs, but they're usually solvable with a reset. sometimes copy and pasting things to other apps, like slack, is a bit tricky but overall there's not much i dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
solving the problem of organization & communication. this benefits me because it makes things a lot easier to navigate, schedule, put in place, etc. and it's robust but easy enough to explain to new clients
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it can seem overwhelming at first but you'll slowly get used to it and find more and more uses each day/week
A competitive all-purpose beast that attacks all products at once
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with this program since the early days (2016). I was able to implement all my needs there, somewhere crookedly and somewhere very organically. Notion is a really powerful combine for different types of tasks, whether it is a personal system with diary, calendar, notes, etc. or a working system with boards, databases and tables.
The technical details and interaction experience are to everyone's taste. From my point of view it is almost perfect. The basic stuff is intuitive and well served. There are difficulties with the more technical and complex ones, but everything is done so that it doesn't feel that way.
The technical support and the work with the community is beyond praise. I have never had a question that I couldn't find the answer to. This friendly business to customer atmosphere is rare these days. Thank you very much in person for that.

What do you dislike about the product?
The simple things here are implemented a head above the competition. The deeper technical things require a lot of work. But you wouldn't expect anything else with such a large volume of everything at once.
I'll start right away with a personal pain: the formula. When it comes to really complex constructions, the visual formula editor just doesn't do its job. We've already seen how it should be in Excel (brackets, error reporting, etc.). Need to do just as well, and I know the guys can do better. Just a little time.
Databases aren't perfect either. I've done some very complex stuff there, but their initial architecture makes it annoying to use annoying methods to implement what I have in mind. A special hello for the undisguised "Title" column in the database :)
Overall, its functionality is a major disadvantage in terms of optimization. It takes a lot of effort and time to keep such a set in order.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Notion both for personal purposes (writing articles, teaching, bookmarking, storing information) and for business (product, customer and purchase databases, supply calendar, task board, scheduling, etc.). I had to compromise in some places, but if you don't pay attention, Notion handles everything just fine.
No time is wasted switching between different programs. Everything has one ecosystem. My favorite principle.
Even this review is written in its godlike visual text editor. I haven't seen a better one yet.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
My friend absolutely did not like Notion, but when I explained to him personally all the advantages, it became one of the main tools. So don't be lazy to spend more time with him (or any product, for that matter). In the future he will probably recoup these costs in full.
Easy to use, adjust to ur needs
What do you like best about the product?
Exporting feature to pdf and html to then later use for Anki
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to draw on notion - notion should introduce this feature!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Features that allow to make compatible with Anki cards by allowing me to export as html
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Organise folders and sub folders well
Notion is perfect to manage and share knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
Use Notion to centralize all your knowledge and link it with all resources from different departments with databases. So when a feature is modified, it's easy to see where to update knowledge!
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately Notion is not the best to manage complex layout and integrations. Integrations only work for some specific actions in databases and that's all. If you want more, Notion is probably not for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Notion we were able to use a same tool to satisfy all departments with one unique and centraalized tool. It's flexible enough to satisfy evryone with their own usage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a few moment to learn how to use Notion by reading some blogs or watching videos. It will be valuable.
Best self management software I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
Notion is the best software I found that allows me to insert every single important and not important information of my life. One of its most useful tools is the email notification.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints at all. Every problem I had I called the support and got help straight away. I just wanted the databases were simpler to put infos like they used to be, but no big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had no control of my whole life in a single place before: one planner for college, one for personal stuff, notebooks for college classes, one to take quick notes... Nowadays I can simplify it on Notion.
Need to organize your personal and work life? Notion is your friend.
What do you like best about the product?
Notions interface is simple like Word with the Home ribbon opened. But under the hood, there is a powerful, connected experience that allows you to integrate it into your workflow however you see fit and integrate it into other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion tries too many things at once at the moment. Given their funding rounds I understand that, but their interface is lacking in some areas where a set of UX designers, if they would not focus on the big bulky projects and wins, could easily sweep up some UX issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I organize my tasks, documents, and relationships through Notion. Personal and work life in one app. If I need to spin up a project database full with brief, scope, deliverables, timeline, task, budgeting - i can do all that right inside Notion!
