Transformational for Personal and Professional Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I like everything about Notion. It's user friendly once you start using it, even without tutorials. I learned through trial and error but found it clean, flexible, and fast. I like how easily accessible it is because I can access it on my phone or computer. It's great as an operating system or a repository for my documents and systems, where I can build what I need instead of being forced into another template. The pages sync well, allowing me to set up different structures and scalable databases. It's helped me be more strategic and proactive in managing my scattered ideas and executing structured plans. I enjoy capturing all my templates, processes, and workflows in an organized fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to nitpick, the learning curve is real. Notion gives you a blank canvas, so if you don’t have clarity, you can overbuild fast. It’s strongest on desktop—mobile works, but it’s not where I do heavy thinking. And for advanced automation, you’ll want integrations. None of that’s a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a flexible system where I can access and manage documents from anywhere. It syncs pages, builds systems, and scales databases, giving me control over workflows without fitting into a preset template. It's clean, fast, and helps structure my execution.
Ultimate Flexibility and Organization in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Notion is how flexible it is. You can use it for notes, project management, planning, databases, and even personal life tracking, all in one place. It adapts to your workflow instead of forcing you into a rigid system, which makes it feel very personal. The clean interface, powerful templates, and ability to connect everything with links and databases make it easy to stay organized and productive without feeling overwhelmed.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Notion is that it can feel slow at times, especially when working with large databases or complex pages. The mobile experience is also not as smooth as the desktop version, which can make quick edits frustrating. There is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, so it can take time to fully understand how to structure things effectively. Offline mode could also be more reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of scattered tools and information by bringing everything into one centralized workspace. Instead of switching between apps for notes, tasks, docs, and knowledge bases, I can keep everything organized in one place. This saves time, reduces mental clutter, and makes it easier to find information when I need it. It also helps with planning projects and tracking progress more clearly, which improves focus and overall productivity.
Built-In AI Sets This Tool Apart
What do you like best about the product?
The built in AI is a major advantage. Also the relational capabilities are good and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't replace a spreadsheet or a mass email utility. I wish also you could make a button do keyboard macros.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a replacement for Coda.io which i used for a few years previously. I like Notion better.
Ultimate Tool for Organization and Creativity
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to keep myself organized and to track tasks for my writing and digital content creation. It's very helpful as a one-stop page where I have all necessary information on a given interest organized and easy to view. I love how customizable it is and that it integrates so easily with so many other apps and websites. I love how versatile it is as well. I created a page for my writing submissions to track where and when I sent manuscripts, and a page for my manuscript library. I also made a page for my eCommerce activities, like eBay and Mercari as well as my Etsy and Shopify shops. Overall, this app is awesome, and its endless utility is exciting for anyone who likes to create and organize. I'm absolutely obsessed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Your AI is a mess. Any time I try to use it for anything significant, it runs out of iterations and is unable to complete anything. Just now I tried to have it create an alternative to my existing group of links (too much to explain) but it's relatively simple. But it didn't have enough iterations to do it. This is super annoying and makes this almost useless to me. I use Chat GPT constantly and find the restrictions on your AI laughable. (Sorry, but it is. lol) If you can't increase the uses, then just lower the price and remove the AI because it's useless IMO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep myself organized and track tasks for writing and content creation. It solves the problem of information disorganization by providing a one-stop page for easy viewing.
Vital for Organized Documentation, Needs Task Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Notion as a centralized workspace for documentation and organization. It helps me maintain close calendars, SOPs, reconciliation guidelines, and audit notes in one place. During a transition where a new client was onboarded mid-quarter, Notion allowed me to create a single live page capturing updated SOPs, entity-specific nuances, and audit pointers. This prevented confusion during month-end, reduced repetitive clarifications, and helped the team stay aligned. I also find it extremely useful during team rotations and leave coverage, as I've used Notion to document month-end dependencies, common reconciliation issues, and client-specific dos and don'ts. Team members can refer to these pages and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. Plus, the initial setup of Notion was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion works well for proper documentation but it didn't actively enforce task dependencies or deadlines. I still had to rely on separate tools or manual follow-ups to ensure reconciliations were completed and reviewed on time. Stronger workflow automation, approval tracking, and reminder tailoring based on the close cycle would make Notion more effective for operational RTR execution, not just documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a centralized workspace that solves the problem of scattered information and inconsistent documentation. It helps me maintain close calendars, SOPs, and audit notes in one place, reducing confusion and repetitive clarifications while keeping the team aligned.
Effortless Public Sharing, Needs Memory Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion's styling and markdown template capabilities. It's versatile because you can share information with the public or keep it private without any hassle. This flexibility is what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion comes in an Electron package, which is really heavy and memory-consuming. I'm expecting some alternative method where it doesn't take up too much memory and become a problem for low-memory systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for documentation and sharing info publicly without format conversions. It's available online instantly and supports markdown, unlike Google Docs. This makes Notion a better choice for my team.
Seamless Collaboration and Integrations with Static Pages

Effortless Note-Taking and Sharing with Notion
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion to record notes on clients I see and treat, and it helps to have a summary recap to share with them on things they need to work on. I really like how it provides both the highlight summaries with just enough detail along with the transcript. It's also convenient to use on my phone for physical locations or on my work computer for Zoom meetings. I find Notion very easy to use in comparison to other tools like Mindset, which was convoluted for organizing and sharing transcripts. The initial setup was a simple download.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding the record button a little easier than having to hunt for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to record client notes, which saves me from wasted time and helps remember critical details. It's easy to use for obtaining, organizing, and sharing transcripts compared to Mindset.
