Notion has replaced so many other systems for me
What do you like best about the product?
It is a powerhouse project management and notetaking tool. I used it to organize everything when I wrote my first book, from mood boards to interviews with other authors to the budget. I use it to organize everything for my podcast, and it keeps everything connected. I even use it in my personal life to keep track of those little things that I need to remember (like answers to secret questions to log into websites, and what everybody in my family likes to order from different restaurants). I like the Chrome extension for bookmarking sites that I need to refer back to. The addition of their AI tools makes it even better. It transcribes all of my meetings and summarizes them. I can use their most recent AI upgrade to have it build new pages for me. The internal search is outstanding. You can also connect it to many other platforms. I also use their Mail and Calendar, which also helps keep everything together in one place and connected. Their customer support is fast and helpful. They even provide some 1:1 live support. This is one of the first apps I open every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may not be suitable for everyone, as it is based on a database model. It takes a little while to get used to building new pages or customizing templates you have purchased or downloaded. You can't sketch or do any freeform activities (like make boxes, add arrows to things). It is limited in the fonts and colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me organize everything in one place. Since everything is in one system, it is easy to find things, connect data, and avoid the need for or expense of multiple systems. Without Notion, I would need to copy and paste data from one system to another.
Strong, but still a bit wonky
What do you like best about the product?
I love the seamlessness of the Notion AI, many of the bugs have been sorted, and the ability to turn it into an "Agent" is nice ― however, I wouldn't quite yet call it an agent IMO. Perhaps I'm not using it in the best possible way yet, but I love the developments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit clunky. Even with the context I've provided, it doesn't always interpret my commands as I would hope. Further, it needs more work with integrations.
Last thing, with meeting notes, I want it to auto-record zoom and google meet meetings and then put it in the right workspace area. Right now, it's not intuitive.

Meeting note transcription and email drafting from those meetings.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Speed & Performance
Sometimes it feels a bit slow to load large pages or databases, especially when you’re working with a lot of content.
2. Complexity for New Users
The flexibility can be overwhelming at first, there’s a steep learning curve before you get the hang of setting up workspaces and databases properly.
3. Offline Use
Notion’s offline functionality still isn’t great. If your internet drops, you can’t really work seamlessly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us consolidate knowledge and workflows that were previously scattered across multiple tools. Instead of jumping between docs, task trackers, and shared drives, we now have one central place for project plans, meeting notes, and team documentation. The AI assistant helps speed up writing and summarising, while Enterprise Search means we can quickly find information without wasting time. The benefit is fewer silos, faster decision-making, and a big boost in team productivity.
The tool Ive dreamed of for my Company
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to upload all of my company's documentation, have AI analyze it to gain a deeper understanding of our business, and then use those insights to approach new prospects is something I have always wished for. Notion AI has finally made this a reality for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation of database lines to prevent my clients from having full access to all data still feels a bit rough and unfinished. While the AI is quite powerful, it continues to produce some hallucinations that need to be addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI has made it much easier for me to handle prospecting, manage orders, and provide customer service, all in a seamless way.
AI Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
The new suite of AI tool, particularly bringing AI agent abilities within workspaces has been a game changer for how I interact with my databases. The ability to adapt the tools to my needs is the perfect solution to managing my day to day. Whether it be AI meeting notes that get directly translated into tasks, or the AI agent keeping me on track with my goals. It’s like having a personal assistant with you at all times.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a learning curve, but easy to overcome. The layout, whilst adaptable can sometimes be limiting when having workspaces plus AI open. I wish there were options for smaller font.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining my workflow and project management, it has become my one stop shop for productivity and centralised operations.
Powerful Tool with Minor Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's discount for educators, which made it a compelling choice for me. I really like how Notion handles repetitive tasks, allowing me to concentrate on more complex activities. The AI feature is very useful, and I love the way documents are structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup of Notion to be not very intuitive. While I didn't find it difficult, it could have been more user-friendly. Additionally, I encountered challenges with the formatting of documents; specifically, the process of copying and pasting isn't as seamless as in other text editing software like Microsoft Word. This can make managing documents a bit harder in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion reduces repetitive tasks, allowing me to focus on complex work, which benefits me greatly.
A Software Perfect for an Evolving Landscape
What do you like best about the product?
The most valuable feature of Notion for us is the enterprise search. It enables us to search across our departments and quickly locate discussions from meetings using AI-generated meeting notes, or reference seasonal deadlines for ongoing projects. Additionally, it makes it easy to compile information and feedback for a project in one place, even if the content is spread across different pages, and to efficiently find specific items among our thousands of pages. When enterprise search was first introduced, we did encounter some bugs, but customer support provided us with a clear and straightforward solution to work around the number of cards we wanted to search. Now, we use this feature every day!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback is that the connectors we need are not yet available for our features. As we continuously add new software and capabilities to our tech stack, the rollout of these connections tends to be slow after they are announced, taking some time before they work perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is at the heart of our business. We've dedicated many years to using it, and each department has tailored it to suit their specific needs. While we currently operate with just one teamspace, the automations, templates, and wikis have proven to be extremely useful.
Versatile Tool with a Few Integration Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Notion's intuitive interface, making setup fairly easy and labeling it as multifunctional like a personal wiki. It excels in knowledge management and productivity. I find the database feature beneficial for creating entries and programming logics. It's also helpful for organizing information and has been valuable enough for me to upgrade my plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"I find it difficult to set up some more complicated logic in the databases, like referring to other fields or setting up buttons. While these aren't essential features, having more comprehensive functionality would be beneficial.","I'm annoyed by the accidental page creation. There have been times when I accidentally clicked on something, dragging it somewhere else, resulting in the unintentional creation of a page. This is particularly frustrating, and I have to go through the process of undoing it."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion as a multifunctional personal wiki for knowledge management and productivity, helping me stay organized and plan efficiently. It supports creating databases with relational logics, making it easy to manage information and tasks.
Best for bullet notetaking and scraping articles online
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how simple it is to type and add bullet points. What stands out to me is the link copyboard feature, which lets you save articles from websites online. I’ve found this especially helpful for taking notes and highlighting the most important information.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the copyboard doesn't function properly on certain websites, which can be frustrating. Additionally, when exporting to PDF, there isn't an option to format the output as a document with adjustable margins and font size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion has been useful for taking notes during meetings and creating summaries afterward. It helps me stay organized and keep track of important points discussed.
An ever-evolving product worth investing
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me is its power and versatility across all areas of our company. The AI keeps getting better, and the recent, frequent updates have truly convinced me to stick with this product. As more of my work, whether it's projects, meetings, wikis, or planning, gets managed within the software, it has become my primary AI tool. I recently created my first tracker that brings together our asset, development, and design teams into a single project, and the feedback from the team has been very positive. Please continue with the frequent updates and ongoing innovation!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, I found it quite overwhelming. The "blank canvas" approach left me feeling disoriented, and it took me nearly a year to become truly comfortable using it. I also depended on insights from other influencers and reviewers to grasp its full potential. Although I'm still learning, the rewards have definitely made the effort worthwhile so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing together note-taking, knowledge retrieval, and project timelines in a single platform has been a game-changer. I used to bounce between several tools and my team was forced to do the same.
