Peak Customization from Top to Bottom
What do you like best about the product?
The problem with most project management tools is that they are limited by the scope of the application and the speed of their own development team and roadmap.
While Notion also shares this limitation, it is inherently a product built for customization based on the user and use case.
I have used every software product for project management imaginable and have never found something beyond Notion that allows for complete scope at will.

What do you dislike about the product?
The speed with which I can set up databases for large projects.
There are some template features that I would like to see at the Page level for Related databases that would make my life a million times easier.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run an M&A program so Notion allows me to track and report on all concurrently running programs.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a great all-in-one app where you can write notes, plan tasks, and manage projects easily. It’s clean, flexible, and perfect for both personal and team use. You can make your own templates, connect other tools, and keep everything organized in one place without switching between apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion can be confusing at first because it has so many features. It sometimes runs slow, especially with large pages or databases. The mobile app isn’t as smooth as the desktop version, and working offline is still limited. It takes time to fully learn how to use everything properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps solve the problem of having too many different apps for notes, tasks, and projects. It brings everything together in one place, making work more organized and easy to manage. For me, it saves time, keeps my ideas clear

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is a gamechanger for my goal of setting up my business to run itself. The the last couple of years, I have been using it to manage tasks, to-dos, projects, customer contacts and messages, SOPs, technical documents, and so much more. I'm currently using Notion AI to help me fill in, finish, or tweak content!
What do you dislike about the product?
It's almost too powerful... finding ways to layout documents and such can sometimes be overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion gives me a single, searchable database that stores all information relevant to our business. Our SOPs, vendor information, technical how-tos, projects, and so much more. Any time an employee needs to ask me a question, I add the information into Notion, so next time they can look it up!

Notion keeps me organized and allows me to take excellent notes and sort them by category.

Not much to dislike! I've loved what i’ve been able to do with it so far.

What do you like best about the product?
I needed a system better than lists, and Notion provides that. The AI helped me create pages, dropdown menus, toggles, bulletpoint lists and more. Now I can keep my notes, ideas, to-do lists, accomplishments, goals and more all in one place, with neat and simple organization.

It can be confusing to use. I am probably using 5% of what I could be because it is a bit complicated. But again, the AI helps a tonnnn.

What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate Notion's versatility, enabling me to use it across all aspects of both business and personal life, from project management to holiday planning. The AI capabilities in Notion are exceptional, particularly for meeting notes, which I utilize frequently. I love the task management and Wiki features as they provide a systematized structure for business operations. The digital LEGO aspect allows me to craft custom solutions, making it a powerful tool for creating complex systems from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the mobile app a bit cumbersome, as it involves a lot of clicking and opening windows, which can be cumbersome. Additionally, I feel there is a lack of support for sketching tools like the Apple Pencil on iPads, which can be limiting when I want to create wireframes for web design or development. Also, Notion's current CRM features could be more robust and benefit from better integration with phone systems, such as CS One by Nebula, to leverage business capabilities more effectively. Furthermore, I think introducing more plug-ins would help in making it a fully-fledged tool.

Notion centralizes our processes with a Wiki, standardizes tasks for consistent outcomes, and provides a versatile, flexible platform to build tailored systems, enhancing data management and business insights.
There is a learning Curve, but worth the effort
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate being able to keep most of my information in one easily accessible place. The meeting notes feature has been fantastic, and the templates have definitely been a big help.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this stage, the main challenge is the learning curve. It does take some time to get comfortable with a new program, but I find that the effort is worthwhile.

Keeping us connected as a team. If there are any questions about how it fits into the company model, we just check Notion. We record all meetings that we have. It gives us to do a lists and highlights the most important things we've talked about.
Essential All-in-One Workspace for Running My Marketing Agency
What do you like best about the product?
Notion has become the central hub for running my entire marketing agency, Kresca Marketing. Its incredible flexibility allows me to manage client projects, track campaign progress, plan content calendars, and collaborate with my team all in one place. The database functionality is a game-changer. I can create custom CRM systems for client management, project trackers with multiple views, and knowledge bases for our processes and templates. What I love most is that Notion has replaced at least 5-6 different tools we used to pay for separately, including project management software, and document collaboration tools. The ability to customise everything to fit our specific workflows, create linked databases, and build templates has dramatically improved our small marketing agency's efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I love Notion overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The learning curve to build database and custom CRM can be steep. It takes time to understand the full power of databases, relations, and formulas, which can slow down onboarding.
The reporting and analytics features are somewhat limited compared to dedicated project management tools - I'd love to see more advanced charts, dashboards, and data visualisation options for tracking agency metrics and KPIs without needing to export data to other tools.

Impressive tool with uncountable capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to meassure KPIs from different databases which are not necessarily related but are performed by the same individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI still needs to be refined, as it does not always find all the information I require, whether it is from my local DBs or from Notion knowledge base.

Sometimes formatting can get finicky, especially when copying content between pages or working across teams. We'd love a little more control over styling and consistency.
