A Versatile Tool for Note-Taking and Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that once Notion is set up, it's easy to use and consistent in outputs. I also appreciate the connections between content, allowing me to track ideas and activities from meetings and discussions through to execution. It's great for keeping up with notes from client conversations and remembering details for my action items. My task list in Notion makes it easy to see what is due, when and where it was discussed, and who with, plus I can link back to meeting transcripts if I need more details. Notion becomes more useful the more I use it, unlike other tools I tried that became cumbersome.
What do you dislike about the product?
It definitely took me a while to get what I needed set up and running and took a lot of trial and error. Not that easy. I tried to use multiple templates but in the end developing my own boring to look at but functions exactly as I need has worked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was struggling with maintaining good notes and remembering task details. Notion lets me track action items, due dates, and discussion details, linking back to transcripts if needed. It streamlines my workflow by summarizing meetings into a format I set up.
Effortless Collaboration with Easy Document Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion easy to use, which is great for my work tasks. The ability to share documents enhances collaboration significantly. I also appreciate using Pages for organizing information effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find transferring information to and from Microsoft Office or Google Office challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion makes collaboration easier, especially for sharing documents. It's also easy to use, and I value Pages for organizing information well.
Versatile, Collaborative, but Requires a Learning Curve and Pricing is Steep
What do you like best about the product?
I think the UI is really great, and I really like the new AI feature. I like all the ways that you can create visuals. I like that you can make it really collaborative and be really creative with the UI to personalize it. There's a lot you can do with Notion, and I'm excited to see what new features develop over time. I integrate Notion with a lot of different tools like Slack and Google Drive, and it's great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little bit confusing to navigate through different pages and locate things, which is why I do like the AI feature. However, it can be a bit complicated. To have so many different options and not a clear path. You really have to do your own research to figure out the best way to use Notion. I think some of the views, like Kanban and table, can also get a little bit confusing. So, like, the property settings can be a bit much. Additionally the pricing tiers don’t make a lot of sense and it’s pretty expensive. They aren’t really great on customer service when it comes to pricing either and regardless of any issues that are actually something they can resolve they don’t make any accommodations. I do like the options to add guests rather than members, but that’s also very confusing and if you don’t do it correctly you’ll end up paying. Notion is unforgiving and won’t refund you if this happens, even if those members never even touched the product. It’s quite frustrating and feels like theft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me track and organize various projects like finance, project management, and daily life, making things easier to manage in both personal and business activities.
Fantastic for Organizing Notes and Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
It's great to categorise notes, thoughts and tasks. I like all the different templates available. I also love the new meeting transcription feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it hard to work out what the best template is best for what I am trying to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps me on track. Where I used to use my notes app or a Google doc to track meeting notes and tasks, this allows me to view my deadlines and prioritise tasks.

Seamless Collaboration, Needs More Editing Controls
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion for its ease of use and how it allows for seamless collaboration across departments. It's really helpful for our organization to keep digital playbooks on everything from sales to compliance, HR, and PTO. When I need to find what the company values in communication, campaign optimizations, and integrations, Notion makes it easy by partitioning each of these into accessible pages that we can link, edit, and use to better manage our teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I’d like for certain things to be locked and uneditable so no one unintentionally changes something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps us keep digital playbooks for sales, compliance, HR, and PTO. It's easy to use, allows for seamless departmental collaboration, and lets us manage teams better with partitioned, linkable, and editable pages.
Versatile Integration, Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion hooks up to most of the things I use. Getting AI notes from my Zoom meetings is the most key feature that I use. Also, being able to track my GitHub issues and Trello issues saves me some time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain things like Discord that are just not attached to, which I would really appreciate. Also, it is a little bit of a learning curve to get everything working. I did get some help from a human being who was very good, However, I'm still a little bit unsure about things like Notion database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to keep my notes from Zoom meetings organized and integrate GitHub and Trello in one place, saving me time.
Great AI Integration first steps, the AI Needs Document Handling Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Notion allows me to connect databases with AI, enabling the production of quotes and presentations efficiently. The AI integration is particularly beneficial as it consolidates all my project information, which helps in streamlining my workflow. This feature is invaluable for my professional use, empowering me to manage and organize diverse tasks effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI doesn't read well the databases, and it doesn't open documents either. It's not automated too, and it needs a lot of improvements. The initial setup would have been too difficult to start without help from a friend who is a consultant in Notion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to connect databases with AI and create quotes and presentations, integrating all my project info.
Easy Collaboration and Well-Integrated AI Tools
What do you like best about the product?
Easy collaboration with coworks, simple to add content from other sources, AI notetaker and other writing tools are cleanly integrated and simple to use. Used daily in all meeting workflows as well as to create collaborative documents/memos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires some effort to keep documents organized, but it's been easy to manage once it's been setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps keep meetings on tasks, facilitates collaboration among our team members, and the notetaker functionality reduces cognitive load on the meeting hosts allowing them to focus on the meeting rather than taking notes themselves or having to delegate notetaking to another attendee.
Versatile and Intuitive, Yet Overwhelming for New Users
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for a variety of purposes, including taking meeting notes, creating SOTs for my team, knowledge sharing, creating onboarding guides, and personal research. I like how organized Notion helps me stay, allowing me to have all my needs in one spot. It is quite intuitive, which means I can navigate its features and perform different tasks easily, like adding data tables. I appreciate that Notion supports multiple contributors, enabling collaborative work while also providing the flexibility to keep documents private if needed. I enjoy the feature that allows me to favorite certain pages I visit frequently, ensuring quick access. Overall, the initial setup of Notion was fairly easy, and despite a learning curve, it is intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are so many things you can do in Notion that it is a bit overwhelming when trying to figure out how to do something or for new users. I also feel the mobile platform is a bit limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Notion keeps me organized by centralizing my tasks and resources. Its intuitive design and collaborative features streamline my work processes, allowing for efficient knowledge sharing and access control.
