I love the Ai feature of notion. It makes using it and changing the formatting super easy with just explaining what I want

I love the flexibility and variability that Notion offers, making it incredibly adaptable for my diverse needs. It supports my lab note management, personal life organization, and overall planning, allowing me to manage almost everything like a personal life book. Notion simplifies complex tasks such as formatting and searching, streamlining document management efficiently. The ease of customization means I can tailor functionality precisely to what I require, dispensing with concerns over unwanted complexities. Its initial setup was hassle-free, which I greatly appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the dataset and database functions in Notion needing improvement. The current functionality is somewhat limited, particularly the AI features, which I believe could be more advanced. Additionally, the building automation could be enhanced, as there are restrictions due to the webpage format that Notion uses. This limitation sometimes results in unnecessary things appearing due to the fixed format, and many features are not available with the existing automation options.

I use Notion for managing lab notes and personal planning, streamlining document management and formatting without data limitations.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion as a personal database and absolutely love the diverse range of features it offers. Notion AI is particularly enjoyable as it aids in editing text and improving the flow of toggles, along with converting grids into databases. I appreciate the ability to share information via private links or publish pages as websites. The continuous updates and improvements to Notion are truly awesome, enhancing its ease of use remarkably. My workflow has become smoother thanks to these constant updates, and it feels automatic when working within Notion. I find delight in dropping ready-made .csv files into Notion from my iOS phone, as these little efficiencies like these contribute significantly to my overall productivity. Notion AI’s capability to transform a grid into a database feels incredibly empowering once one comprehends its functions. Ultimately, the initial setup of Notion was very nice, and I rate my likelihood to recommend it to friends and colleagues as a solid 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the AI feature in Notion is still a bit in flux, which can cause some communication issues. To address this, I believe a glossary of terms and a keystroke cheat sheet may be beneficial in clearing up some of these problems. Additionally, I have noticed that the search function sometimes fails to locate a significant number of files. This could be related to how I have things organized, but it requires me to often try recalling different aspects of the header to find what I need.

I use Notion to centralize my data, seamlessly turn grids into databases, share information easily, and automate workflow with Notion AI. Its frequent updates make my experience smoother and more efficient across devices.

I think it would be useful to have multiple AI agents in Notion, as well as the ability to schedule tasks with those agents. The file upload compatibility could improve, as it is somewhat limited. I would also like to integrate more platforms and tools with Notion, thus providing greater versatility. Lastly, the issue with formulas is somewhat problematic; if it were simpler, Notion could easily be used for accounting, but its current complexity makes it difficult to handle.

Customization is one of the features I value the most; I can create spaces and pages to my liking, and also decorate with images, which is important to me because I am very visual. The ease and simplicity of finding things is a great plus, and the fact that Notion allows for professional work management while saving time is very valuable. Additionally, the integrated AI is like having a team by my side, guiding me step by step when I have doubts. The integration with other tools like Google Drive is something I also really like because I hope to continue growing and using more resources. I have already recommended Notion to several friends and colleagues, as well as to my patients, because I truly believe it is a super useful tool for managing both work and personal areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love it if the colors could be customized, so I don't have to go out and create the image with my brand's colors to include it or just use the limited text colors that Notion has. I would also like to be able to change the entire background and not just have everything be white; I know you can include some background color in sections, but it's limited. I would love for the AI to be able to create images. I used Trello before, and one thing I liked more about Trello is that you can put backgrounds on the boards, and visually it looks nicer, which is why I recommended being able to add more color. At first, it was a bit difficult because starting from scratch is not easy, but I explored and managed to build everything I needed, making it easier as I got to know it better.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI is connected to not just notion and all the work happening across my workspace, but all of the other apps across my company such as Slack Google Drive and others. AI meeting notes are a game changer and the best on the market. Organizing thoughts and creating process in Notion is a delightful and effective experience overall that only gets better as you collaborate with more colleagues and stakeholders in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing settings can be difficult and some people seem to have an adverse reaction to the unfamiliarity of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can quickly stand up a workflow and share it with others and find exactly what I’m looking for across my workspace and connect apps with all the historical organization, shrunk context. It would’ve taken me years to find on my own why wouldn’t have even known to search for.
