Facilitate the Organization and Visibility of Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of customizing any type of record in databases in Notion. Its AI Assistant is very useful for building them, and I also value the possibility of integrating it with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can improve very specific automations that do not exist today and do not allow for more pleasant interactions, especially in cases where one wants an interactive interface that automatically saves information but renews the format, similar to an application. There is no option for that interface to be dynamic and save records, to renew itself again. It's as if it doesn't allow for a more user-friendly UX, designed especially for people who don't like to see life in grids, but rather in clicks and interactions that guide them step by step. Sometimes the design of sections was not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to centralize information, improve team status visibility, and organize myself with a single click.
Versatile But Overwhelming for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Notion is shareable and timely, with no delays in editing despite teammates being in different locations. I love that it's like a blank canvas where I can do virtually anything I want. I can create calendars, task lists, and a whole documentation on just one page. I also like that it integrates with other platforms such as GDrive. Having chatbots to help and tutorials available is a nice touch, even though I prefer learning by navigating rather than just watching or reading long instructions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a bit overwhelming at first. It was not easy to navigate for first-timers. I like that you have chatbots to help and tutorials, but I just feel like those tutorials tend to be too long. I want to learn as I navigate, not by watching or reading instructions. It's a bit tricky for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves my organization problems and keeps our team organized and up to date with every task.
Impeccable Organization and Simple Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion at work to write down my tasks and keep them more organized. I also find it useful to have a database to organize the things I need at that moment. I think databases and the ability to create tags to describe whether a task belongs to the Backend or the Frontend are interesting features. Additionally, the tags allow me to describe more information about a specific parameter. The initial setup was easy since I only used my email and was able to log in quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps this is not something that doesn't work well, but I would like to be able to connect things from my repository on GitHub and transfer them to Notion, or vice versa, perhaps with a Readme.md.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize my tasks and get a clearer view of what I have to do. The databases and tags allow me to store and describe information in detail, helping me to be more organized.
Intuitive, Customizable, and Mobile-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion because it's very intuitive and user-friendly. It allows us to customize how information is shared, which is super helpful for our team. I also appreciate that updates happen immediately, so we can change information quickly for our audiences without having to go through third-party websites. The ability to move information between public-facing websites for candidates and staff helps us control how information is presented efficiently. Setting it up was super easy for me since I've used it before, making the process simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way that the website feature is built, sometimes changing the website view doesn't work great. So making the width of the text and pictures isn't intuitive to update meaning that the formatting can look strange at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of creating an easy-to-navigate knowledge base that's simple, mobile-friendly, and updates immediately. It lets us customize information sharing, control how it's presented, and quickly update public-facing websites for our staff and candidates.
Versatile Tool with Smooth Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility that Notion has. I was able to create everything from single pages to welcome new members, to fully automated processes that allow my team to send messages automatically when a task is finished. Notion is a key tool in the office and in my personal life. Our most used feature is databases; we are able to create multiple information panels for every project and keep the stakeholders always informed of their requirements. The learning curve was smooth, making the initial setup pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that when a database gets too crowded in Notion, it tends to be a little slow. It would be helpful if Notion could limit the number of lines or cards shown to avoid displaying additional info when the database grows larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion centralizes data, enabling me to selectively share information and keep my team in contact on projects.
Collaborative Docs with Flexible Permissions and Team-Friendly Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative documents. It supports all types of documents (product brief, roadmap, presentation, etc.), with organisation by group or team. I also like that it offers different levels of permissions, which makes it easier to manage access.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to subscribe to an expensive plan to use the AI features. It’s also annoying that creating roadmaps or data tables can result in duplicate documents. And if there isn’t strict organisation or clear team rules in place, things can quickly become messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centered data and knowledge base with active collaboration. It has replaced Google Docs, which were all over the place, as well as our internal knowledge base, so everything is now in one place and easier to keep organized.
Intuitive Design and Efficient Organization
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the design of Notion and how practical it is for getting things done. I find it very intuitive, there's no mystery in using it and that's very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I don't like, I think it delivers everything I need to know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
He helps solve problems of disorganization and forgetfulness.
Innovative, Fast, and Indispensable for Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Notion is very easy to use and especially that it is very fast. The experience is very good, and I use it 99% of the time on the Mac OS app. When I compare it with other tools, like Atlassian's Jira, the Notion experience is very good and fast; I click and things appear without delay, without lag, nothing freezes. I can open multiple Notion tabs at the same time, look at the notes from my meetings, and see if they are listed in another database of my tasks with a simple click. The app on Mac OS works very well, I have no delays, I don't feel it weighs down my computer, and this is valuable for getting my work done quickly and finding the things I need quickly. It was also very easy to set up, I had zero problems and didn't need technical support to use it in my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still no integration of Notion with Microsoft Calendar, only with Gmail, and this limits its use in my company, which uses the Microsoft suite. This prevents the use of Notion for email and calendar, which could make the ecosystem more complete. I also find it difficult to find some more professional templates, which sometimes makes me start from a blank page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to manage tasks, projects with teams, and create meeting notes, even with little time between them. The notes help me process meetings and keep track of tasks, solving the lack of time in my daily routine.
Intuitive and Efficient, Needs Improvement in Tables
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Notion is the simplicity of use. It is very straightforward, simple, and quite intuitive. The team spaces and documentation feature makes it easy to share content and keep content segregated for a team or private pages. It is very simple to set up and, moreover, it is very sleek and visually appealing, which helps a lot. The reminders feature is really nice and is a cool part of Notion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that Notion can improve in the scheduling planning stage, becoming more similar to MS Project. It would be nice to make tasks become subtasks and linked in a more visual way to understand schedules. Notion's tables are quite weak and could be more developed. Additionally, Notion's planning lacks some tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion for document organization, project planning, schedule creation, checklist creation, and calendar use.
Clean, Pleasant Layout with Great Organizational Possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the organizational possibilities this offers, and the layout is clean and pleasant to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are too many AI options being added to things that don’t really need AI in the first place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me stay organized and makes it easy to create a wiki for my team. It’s been useful for keeping information in one place and making it accessible when we need it.
