Effortless Document Collaboration, Lightning-Fast Editing
What do you like best about the product?
The primary reason I use Notion is because the text editor is really fast and sharp, making it great for both work and personal use. I find the slash commands for adding blocks very good, and I like the integrations with tools that make it easy to pull in sources. The linking feature is great, and the comment feature allows me to maintain a historical record of everyone's feedback, which I think is great. I think many of the UI elements, like checkboxes, are very easy to use. The integrated table and color formatting make everything feel very fast. From an ergonomics perspective, it's the best text editor, allowing me to really focus on the content and move quickly. I like the GitHub integration where I can link GitHub easily by just pasting an issue or PR link, and it shows the number. Also, it is connected to Renewal by, so it uploads my call notes, which I really like.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using it in the browser, there's often slow load times. The command K sometimes switches to my Chrome search rather than my Notion search. I wish the key binds would be more consistent. Sometimes it's easy to lose documents, and the search doesn't always take me to the exact document I want. It feels like there's a lack of strict idling or something. The notification system is so spammy that I must never use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
