Great wiki platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Love this all-in-one workspace for company/dept wiki's notes, documents, and lightweight databases, particularly well-suited for individuals and small teams. While it does scale reasonably well handling permissions may get complicated. Our team likes the AI tools and are very useful for summarizing and reformatting content.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Permission granularity & inheritance can confuse sharing
2. Limited spreadsheet‑grade formulas/rollup
3. Offline support is partial

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me store all our policies, processes, etc in on easy to use place and that is user friendly for our company.
Powerful all-in-one workspace that transformed how we organize our business
What do you like best about the product?
Notion's flexibility is unmatched - it serves as our project management system, documentation hub, and knowledge base all in one place. The database features are incredibly powerful, allowing us to create custom views and relationships between different types of content. The real-time collaboration works seamlessly, and the ability to embed various content types keeps everything centralized. The template system saves us countless hours, and the clean interface makes it easy to onboard new team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
The offline functionality could be stronger - there's sometimes a delay when working without internet. The mobile app, while functional, doesn't quite match the desktop experience for complex page editing. The learning curve can be steep initially for team members unfamiliar with databases and relational features. Occasional lag when working with very large databases with many relations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solved our scattered knowledge problem - critical information was stuck in people's heads or across multiple tools. Now we have a single source of truth for everything from product specs to marketing campaigns to manufacturing coordination.
The biggest win is reducing founder dependency. By documenting processes and SOPs, our team finds answers independently instead of waiting on leadership. This is crucial with 68% of our team remote.
We manage our entire operation in Notion: product development, marketing tracking, ambassador programs, vendor relationships, and financial planning. The database features let us create custom views while maintaining unified data.
For a hardware startup transitioning to AI-first operations, Notion provides the infrastructure to scale systematically instead of reactively. It's transformed us from ad-hoc execution to process-driven growth.

Notion is your friend
What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for absolutely everything—it’s replaced the need for Word, Excel, and countless other tools. Having all my notes, projects, and planning in one place saves me so much time. The integration with ChatGPT is also a life saver—whether I’m brainstorming, writing, or analyzing, I can do it all without leaving the app. It truly feels like an all-in-one workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that because I rely on it so much, when I don’t have internet access/when out and about on my phone only it can be tricky. There’s also a bit of a learning curve at the start, but once you get used to it, it’s absolutely worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of having to switch between multiple tools for different tasks. Instead of using Word for documents, Excel for spreadsheets, and other apps for project management or notes, I can keep everything in one place. This saves me time, reduces clutter, and makes it much easier to stay organized.
The benefit for me is efficiency and focus. I don’t waste time moving between apps, everything is structured the way I want, and with ChatGPT integrated, I can generate ideas, draft content, or analyze information instantly. It’s streamlined the way I work and helps me get more done with less effort.

The AI agent is super useful! I’ve used it to supercharge my project management workflows by automating updates, more easily surfacing information, and creating more effective tooling and artifacts for my teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d really like it if AI agents had the same functionality as a human user. At the moment they can’t build automations and certain other things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion is making it easier to manage new work streams for which I have no context or direction. I’m able to collate knowledge and build context faster and start moving things along much better. The AI note taking also allows me to focus more in meetings and quickly follow up with updates and actions.
Great interface with many clever ways to interlink your projects
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to build a fully functional project base where I can provide the scoping details and knowledge resources while keeping a database for deliverables all in one page. I work on highly cross functional projects so being able to laid out all the intformation while leveraging a database to detail out my stakeholders deliverables makes it easy for them to come to the project home base and know exactly where to get what info.
No need to bounce between too many different tools to accomplish briefings, tracking, and WIP documents

What do you dislike about the product?
If notion is all you use for your documentation, it can feel like a never ending SOP or doc to read. Having the ability to switch it up and deliver information more visually or aesthetically pleasing (like a deck) would help my stakeholders not have Doc Fatigue.
More bitesize ways to give the right information that is memorable while linking back to the relevant long form information would be useful.

The AI tool has been invaluable in helping me take information and content I’ve developed on Notion project boards and then copy edit, reframe, or restructure the strategic positioning for different stakeholder groups. It has also significantly reduced the manual effort involved in audits, allowing me to more quickly sort, organize, and clean up database information I’ve uploaded. Recently, I discovered the calendar feature, and I absolutely love being able to enter project dates and tasks that sync with my Google Calendar. This integration helps me keep meetings and project deliverables top of mind each week, giving me a clear, high-level overview of all the activity happening across my projects.
Life-changing for operations.
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the endless integrations and connections I can set up with Notion, allowing me to streamline all our different tools into one central place. I also love how customizable Notion is, letting me tailor specific views and filter information with as much or as little detail as I need, especially when sharing with others. In many ways, it feels like a smarter version of other tools, such as Excel and Word. The ability to drag and move blocks around the page in various structures makes it extremely user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the main issue is that there is a noticeable learning curve. The software can be quite complex, with numerous features and aspects, which makes it challenging for first-time users or for those who don't have much time to dedicate to learning it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have built an entire CRM system for both our business development and account management teams. Alongside this, I created a comprehensive playbook that serves as a one-stop resource hub for team members and onboarding. This setup has become an excellent way for us to centralize everything in one place and maintain a single, reliable source of truth.
AI Meetings Are Filling a Hole
What do you like best about the product?
I love using notion for workspaces within our non-profit college organization.
We utilize Notion for three workspaces among admissions, marketing, and development.
Ultimately, the ease of use for databases, tracking, forms, CRM lead tracking, and AI meeting notes has filled a hole that we were experiencing in staffing. AI meetings in particular help us easily record our team meetings and set action points with minimal edits or adjustments to what is recorded. It's truly an exceptional product that we continue to build on and anticipate rolling out to other departments within the institution. We frequently use the software to assess our marketing analytics and strategies and it works very well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I see thus far is the inability to integrate Gmail into our CRM database, so that development officers could tie email communications to contacts that they are working with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the issue of not having someone to take minutes during meetings. It also helps us manage projects with deadlines and easy to set reminders for workspace users to stay on track with projects.
it feels like a notebook, and it offers multiple cover and page designs that I can apply.”
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can take notes(notion AI) while searching, and it’s nice that other users share how they use the software, so I can learn from them too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires some initial learning, and to be honest, I’m still getting the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, I struggled to study deeply because my knowledge was spread out across different apps, making it hard to keep everything organized. Now, with this platform, I can link directly to web pages or any resources I want to gather, which really helps me concentrate and makes my learning process much more efficient.
Powerful Tool with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love having all my data organized in the way I want, right at my fingertips. The visual aspect of Notion is pleasing, making it easy to manage and view my information effectively. I also appreciate how I can link different types of files together for a personalized dashboard and project structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Notion to be somewhat fragile and unstable, especially when using it in a team scenario. Team members can change or delete things, leading to lost data, which is problematic. This fragility has caused me to stop using shared boards and instead have everyone use their own instance. Also, there is a challenge in integrating Notion with other tools, as the process can be very cumbersome and frustrating. I wish there was a way to lock features to prevent changes once set up, and the overall experience with integrations, guided by AI instructions, hasn't been smooth. Moreover, Notion requires a devoted use and some knowledge of coding to fully utilize its features, which can be lengthy and discourages some users because of the extra work involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to organize and customize my data visually, creating a personal dashboard for accessing information efficiently, despite its fragility and integration challenges.
The true all-in-one tool
What do you like best about the product?
Notion offers such a versatile set of tools that I feel there are virtually no limits to what it can accomplish. I've often told my coworkers that, with Notion, "there should never be another pain point or pinch point in my workflow ever again." It integrates seamlessly with everything I need, making my tasks much easier. Thanks to the AI features, I was able to transfer nearly all of my work processes into Notion in no time. After just a week of using it, I found myself fully committed to the system. I can't start my workday without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of refining that can be done to the existing features. There's nothing I can't work around, but it'd be nice if workarounds weren't required in the first place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There has been a software that I've been begging to have exist for years, something that could track and notify me about multiple different certifications for hundreds of different people, track their expirations, and send emails as necessary based on which certifications are about to expire, or at least send me an email alert to reach out to that person. When you search online to see if this software exists, you find thesis papers about why this software would be revolutionary, yet nobody's bothered to create it--Notion built it for me in 10 minutes. Absolute game-changer. I will recommend Notion to every person I ever meet.
We're implementing actual helpdesking systems for our employees using forms that automatically assign the correct person to the problem. We're tracking vacations that require multi-level management approval. Managing meeting note access according to assignee groups, managing all event meeting tasks and notes in a single dashboard, and we've created a company-wide inventory list. All things we had no way of doing previously.
