It feels like there are endless use cases for Notion. It can present information in so many different ways and is super configurable, so it has the ability to replace many project management/productivity tools. The Notion AI assistant is amazing at answering any questions about my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to it, and buttons aren't always where I think they will be, but I'm getting used to it with practice.

—AI Writing Assistant helps save time when creating new schedules or briefs.
—Chatbot great at answering any question I have about the org, from a question about an upcoming release to requesting PTO.

—Great to have all materials from across the company in once place.

AI Writing Assistant

What do you like best about the product?
Notion AI is built into your workspace, so you don’t have to jump between tools to get things done. Whether you're writing a doc or updating it, the AI is just a keystroke away. You can invoke it by hitting the spacebar. It’s designed to feel like part of your flow without having to manually invoke it

It is really helpful with all kinds of writing. It can help you to:

Rewrite things in a different tone or for a different audience. Catch grammar and spelling mistakes. Summarize long documents or meeting notes. Translate text into other languages.Pick out action items from your notes.Help you brainstorm with outlines, headlines, or bullet points
What do you dislike about the product?
Notion AI is good but there is some room for improvement. At times, it can generate content that feels a bit generic or repetitive—especially if your prompts are vague or your workspace is cluttered. It is always a good idea to refine and finalize your content before publishing.

Some features, like creating images or flowcharts can be improved.if you're new to Notion or AI tools in general, there's a bit of a learning curve. That said, Notion offers templates and helpful guides to get you started. Notion AI is more of a brainstorming partner that can give you ideas that you can polish later. The AI capabilities are very generic and could have been made better if it can understand the context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion AI assists with drafting content, summarizing notes, generating emails, and brainstorming ideas. It supports me in shaping my product strategy, outlining and summarizing large documents, and surfacing the right resources when I need them. It also makes writing OKRs and presenting business cases much simpler.

By keeping all my documents organized in one place, Notion AI ensures everything is easy to manage, search, and share thanks to its powerful search capabilities

My Dashboard for Everything

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Notion to some extent for several years, but it's recently become my dashboard for nearly everything I do. With notion I can easily set up tools, tasks, and trackers for just about anything I need to keep up with, and it's all in one place where I can find it easily. I've recently moved over to Notion email and have already gotten a more manageable inbox with just a bit of configuration. I've also moved a lot of my writing over from Google Docs to notion since the inline AI tool allows me to use AI to do research and get pointers without having to go to an outside app or page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some problems with running notion as an autostart program. It loads, but doesn't work and I have to close and restart it. Otherwise the only issue I've seen was a calendar problem that turned out to be because I hadn't updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me get organized so I always have a prioritized list of things I need to do, ideas I want to develop, and projects I need to work on. I've also incorporated into my workflow for writing and for scheduling blog posts.

What do you like best about the product?
Notion is continuously improving and seems like they listen to their users, because things that I want have been released multiple times. It is simple where it needs to be and can do just about anything you want it to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search has always been a pain point in Notion for me. That is where Notion AI has really improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we use Notion as a knowledge base, there is so much that can be found in our database. As a product manager, I am able to find different projects, meeting notes and other related items to projects or metrics that I am working on.

I think it's so much more visually appealing and has 10x functionality to google sheets

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find that Notion stands out as a highly customizable and visually appealing workspace, offering a range of organizational tools that support both my personal workflow and our team’s productivity. I really appreciate its flexibility—it lets me structure pages in multiple ways, like using nested pages, tables, and kanban boards. It's easy to navigate, and I love being able to embed content from one page into another, which makes it ideal for building comprehensive, interconnected resources. The clean and intuitive interface also helps our team stay aligned without the clutter that comes with more traditional documentation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve found that Notion does come with a bit of a learning curve, especially when it comes to more advanced features like relational databases. I've struggled with trying to connect entries across multiple databases or sheets, which can be frustrating when managing more complex workflows. The formatting can also be restrictive at times—I’ve run into issues with unexpected locks or trouble figuring out how to reformat things the way I want. While I appreciate how customizable Notion is, really mastering all of its features takes time and patience, which can be challenging when I'm looking for quick, straightforward solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Notion serves as a powerful internal solution by acting as both a centralized knowledge base and a collaboration hub for our team. It helps me consolidate scattered information into one organized space where I can easily access documentation, project plans, meeting notes, and shared resources. I really value the real-time editing, the ability to embed content, and how seamlessly pages can link to one another—it’s been a huge help in breaking down silos and improving collaboration across teams. It ensures that important knowledge isn’t just stored, but is easy to find and stays up to date, which makes our workflows a lot more transparent and efficient.

Notion helps me figure out my life

  • May 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
• I love the organization of Notion and the sub-pages ability.
• I love the existing type styling
• The databases' properties that show up within an item's page is very useful
• The collaborative of Notion is great in comparison to some other documentation tools
What do you dislike about the product?
• I dislike how hard it is to use databases: the items within databases cannot be moved to another database, once it's a full page database it's not intuitive to change it to an inline-database
• Sometimes it Notion feels clunky (the UX interactions, e.g. moving 1 text chunk to a difference column)
• I wish Notion had more styling capabilities (e.g. being able to add bullet points or images into tables, being able to adjust cell padding when I add another column)
• I do not need AI in Notion, I find it quite upsetting and useless
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
• I often need a centralized place to store information and Notion is my first choice, then GSuite (the share function's UX is a lot nicer than Google Docs)
• Being able to upload PDFs, Figma links, preview various images is incredibly useful for meeting notes
