Best tool to streamline Product efforts
What do you like best about the product?
The impressive thing about Productboard is how well it can adapt to most Product processes while still being simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to have a deeper integration between the tools we use and Productboard, but their public API is pretty much useless. They are working on a beta API, but it seems like it'll take a while until it solves the problems I want to solve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User feedback collection, backlog prioritization, specs, discovery collaboration, sprint planning, and post-release stuff (release notes, success measurement).
ProductBoard helps with some longstanding annoyances
What do you like best about the product?
ProductBoard gives us a way to organize our product documentation and "architecture" in a way that I haven't seen possible in any other program. A longstanding annoyance has been having to create different flavors of the roadmap for different constituencies and it is way easier with ProductBoard because it operates off of the same root project data rather than the typical roadmap tool where you drop bars into the roadmap and have to constantly update them manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to share roadmaps broadly with people that aren't "users".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ProductBoard has become our plan of record for our roadmap first and foremost. It is the easiest way we have seen to be able to ensure there is one source of truth that is always up to date. It's also helping us solve the problem of connecting the insights and feedback we receive directly to features for the product and then subsequently to the roadmap.

What do you dislike about the product?
Save experience for each view is a little weird
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Live connected customer feedback straight into roadmap
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be daunting for new users with a decent learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are capturing and prioritising product requirements with cross reference to customer feedback
ProductBoard has helped to improve the communication gap from our product team to other teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love the customization of the boards - each product team has their own board, where employees can view what is int the roadmap, and have link-outs to understand where in the product development cycle a particular feature is—Jira, confluence, googl docs, invision, etc.
I love the slack integration as well. It has been a great place for customer-facing departments to provide feedback and feature requests.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our current pricing tier only allows for a certain number of makers - it would be nice to have more seats without the price jumping up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize the boards heavily to showcase each team's release boards by quarter and prioritization. We have found that more nonproduct departments have started to utilize these boards and follow releases they care about - this has helped communication when new projects shift priorities when a project enters testing, and beta phases. It has honestly made products job much easier.
A great way to organise your team around customer needs and business objectives
What do you like best about the product?
The idea of linking everything is the one thing that I like the most. Every time anyone at the company meets a customer, we take notes and if we have any feedback, we push it to Product Board. Our Product team links the feedback with the different features, objectives, or marks as a new idea. It's incredible the amount of information you can have when you create segments as well. As we focus more on a specific segment, our prioritization process now it's way easier and smoother than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few things that are given in roadmaping, like having two tracks, discovery, and delivery. Today the only way of doing this in PB is to duplicate all of your initiatives, with makes everything a mess. Besides that, we need to export all of our customers from HubSpot, upload them in our PB, and then update the segments. Not having direct integration with HubSpot is costing us a lot of time and manual work. We need to have more integrations so PB can work even better with our product development process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our prioritization process is way better now, as we look at customer and business insights in one place. It's easier to internally communicate our roadmap and our progress. ProductBoard also helped us to integrate insights from research, customer support, and customer success. Before PB each team used to have their own notes and documents, now everything is in one place and they are linked! Besides that, we are looking forward to using the portal as well and start communicating our roadmap to our customers.
The biggest benefit for us is having our customers' needs and our business objectives integrated and in one place, making it easier for us to consider both when prioritizing, we don't need to prepare for our roadmap and product sync meetings, since everything is already on productboard.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Productboard is a bit different from the tools we buy and start using it already, you will need to take some time to think about how you want to integrate the tool into your process and how you will shape the tool as well. This takes a while, but I ensure you, it's worth it!
Great way to keep track of client feedback
What do you like best about the product?
Productboard is a great way to collate and score client feedback so that you know what is most important to discuss in roadmap discussions.
What do you dislike about the product?
When emailing feedback to productboard it can be registered under the person emailing it rather than the person that provided the feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to easily organise all the client feedback in one place as well as keep track of which clients requested which feature so that we can notify them when it is available.
Great product management tool that's build by people that know product best practices.
What do you like best about the product?
Product Board makes it super easy to process lots of data coming in into meaningful action items for a product team to execute on. Its growing integrations make it even more useful by pulling in helpful data on our customers from Salesforce and having connections to pull in product feedback from Slack, Gmail, and Zendesk
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see Product Board integrate with other tools we use like ClickUp. Just recently they announced new integrations to make more syncing between platforms possible but it involves creating our own API to manage interactions between the two platforms which takes costly development time.
The road mapping tool is somewhat new and quickly improving. When we first tried it out it had many limitations but quickly gained enough features to become useful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to quickly intake and organize all of our product feedback into an actionable prioritized list of features. Before Product Board, we didn't have a good product feedback loop. Being able to prioritize based on RICE scores alongside user prioritization scores.
Powerful ecosystem of tools that have become a central part of my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Productboard has a simple learning curve that makes it easy to get started and becomes more powerful the more you invest in it. The way the four primary workspaces are interconnected (Insights, Features, Roadmap, and Portal) makes it a pleasure to use.
The bread and butter of my workflow involves leveraging Zapier automations and the integration with Jira. Both work flawlessly.

What do you dislike about the product?
I use the Roadmap section the least because it's not central to my role, but if I had to nitpick, I can't load images directly into the 'Detail' section of the features modal.
You are, of course, able to attach files to this section, but I would benefit from being able to display them. My use case is that I have a weekly bug grooming session over Zoom, and when I need to walk my colleagues through an issue, loading attachments breaks the seamlessness of the screen share.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing bug reporting, content issue reports, feature requests, and feedback from a large pool of beta testers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Productboard is the simplest and most powerful way to consolidate hundreds of unique pieces of feedback and discussions relevant to my team's products.
The integrations with Zapier and the Chrome extension make collecting Insights easy.
The Integration with Jira makes hand-over and tracking issues straightforward.
The cherry on the cake is the Portal, which makes the work our team is doing visible to our users, and closing the loop with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) a simple process.

The ideal tool for Product Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Everything about productboard except one little thing (see the following comment). Features and Roadmap are the best options to work in a long-term planning, with stakeholders, and with my team. We are currently testing Portal feature and it looks awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of the reports feature, I have to do it manually every time I need a report (for example, User Stories by categories)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With productboard, I can plan in a long-term way the next sprints and quarters for my team. Before productboard, the User Stories and Bugs were all messy and on various platforms at the same time. Now everything is in one place, and with the Roadmap feature, we can see beyond that mess and plan the future of our products. Another benefit I have is that with the Insights feature, I can collect A LOT of feedback from our clients and people of Cliengo so we can constantly upgrade our Backlog.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will have to dedicate a lot of time, but that's good! With productboard, a world of options and alternatives open in front of you. Go ahead!
