The customizations and flexibility it brings to our business are a real plus. We can adapt the solution to fit our specific needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think Acumatica could improve its process and screen workflows to make the overall experience more intuitive and easier for the average user to navigate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an all-in-one solution, Acumatica has saved us a lot of time. Before, we were running two or three software systems at the same time, and that setup wasted a lot of labor and effort.

What do you like best about the product?

Acumatica makes having the all-in-one ERP system a breeze. You can customize your dashboard to reflect your personal work flow. Creating user specific roles and controls provides the security that unauthorized access cannot be accessed outside of department assignments. Connection with our website software creates an easy bi-directional flow of information. With each upgrade, (been around since 2021R1) Speed and performance keep increasing. With patches that contain high or critical fixes delivered bimonthly to standard service packs coming out quarterly, this adds value to the overall cost of Acumatica. Due to being 5 years deep into using Acumatica, I often forget how easy the onboarding was. They have a structured 21 day program which gets you ready in less than 30 days from implementation to day one roll out. On top of that they have rolled out their AI Studio which can connect LLM's through API connection to your favorite AI Provider.

What do you dislike about the product?

While the advocations of using Acumatica are strong, there are some drawbacks. If your employee base are not prepared for a serious change in how the company performs their daily tasks, some might find the 21 day onboarding a bit challenging. Often we are stuck in our old ways of doing something because its become more accustom and familiar. But the benefits do outweight the initial drag of learning a new system. Since implementing 5 years ago, our average cost is not what we assumed it would be. That's primarly due to customizations and add-ons that we assumed Acumatica could handle. Which over the years some customizations have been integrated into the product you get today, so it's not like the add-ons are one off's.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Coming from an older, outdated AS400 system, Acumatica has provided more possibilities to grow than the siloed MSDOS system could handle. Better integrations, less fragmented systems and modernization is what Acumatica has delivered.

What do you like best about the product?

Acumatica is especially helpful because it lets non-developers customize the system (within reason) to fit their specific business needs. That flexibility is incredibly powerful for the small to mid-size businesses that do well with Acumatica. It has also enabled us to grow and scale while staying within the ERP itself.

What do you dislike about the product?

It can be difficult to get in touch with anyone directly at Acumatica. If your partner isn’t able to help, it often becomes a slow and frustrating process to get issues resolved through Acumatica support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are actively working to evolve the product by adding new user interfaces that are much easier to navigate than before, introducing new AI tools that seem promising, and listening to customer feedback to continually refine the product and make it better.

I like that Acumatica is easy to use, cloud-based, and lets me manage accounting, inventory, and reports in one place. It also makes it easy to access data from anywhere.

Some features take time to learn, and the system can be a bit slow when working with large amounts of data.

Acumatica helps manage accounting, inventory, and business operations in one system. It saves time, keeps data organized, and makes daily work more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?

It’s very user-friendly and requires minimal training. It’s an all-in-one ERP.

What do you dislike about the product?

I haven’t noticed any issues yet in the current version. That said, I’d say the AI assistant still isn’t as refined as we’d like it to be. Also , new versions do not become available to all regions as a default.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to create a single source of truth, and Acumatica has helped us achieve exactly that. It has also minimised the need for printing and filing, since any additional documents can simply be attached in the system where everyone can access and view them.

Ease of use, cloud features and product features.

Pricing on additional services or customizations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allow for cloud in browser work that can be done using any computer.

Ease of use and maintenance. Good fit for our organization.

What do you dislike about the product?

Forced to upgrade with added cost if on an old release, and relatively short release cycle before release retirement date. Customizations cannot be isolated on a separate tenant.

Reliable procurement workflows, faster time to close financials

I appreciate the flexibility it offers, which makes it easy to tailor to our specific business needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, I don’t have any immediate complaints about Acumatica.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like the new AI and ad hoc reporting features. Instead of trying to force everything into an “out-of-the-box” ERP, it’s great to have the flexibility to look up different information as needed, without having to create a new generic inquiry every time.

What do you like best about the product?

How seamlessly it integrates with other programs.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some difficult with the data tables and understanding where certain items are in the data tables.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have become more efficient as we are not doing double entry of subcontractor invoices as we download them from another software where the sub is entering their invoice and is approved.
