Easy GL Tracking, but Forms Can Cause Period and Ledger Errors

Somewhat user friendly - ease of viewing GL entries and tracking subledger changes

Lots of issues when filling out forms, too many ways to mess up an accounting period or mismatching ledger info

Acumatica Delivers Flexibility and Scalability for Global Growth
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Acumatica is truly cloud-based, making accessibility seamless for our global teams. The generic inquiry (GI) feature is a game changer, allowing even non-technical users like me to build custom reports and dashboards easily. Its intuitive web interface makes onboarding new employees quick, and the scalability means we can grow without being handcuffed by the ERP system. The consumption-based pricing structure is also a huge plus, and the reliability has been outstanding compared to previous systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike, but the process of migrating from our old system was complex, especially consolidating customers from multiple databases. Integrating new acquisitions and handling multi-currency, multi-tenant setups required extra effort and some creative workarounds, but Acumatica’s flexibility helped us address these challenges. I’d also say that while AI features are promising, we’re still exploring their full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scalability and flexibility are the biggest strengths for us. Because of features like attributes, we’ve been able to design the underlying data structure so it can live in both big and small buckets, depending on what we need. That makes it easy to add something like a brand attribute for a new product, and then have the data automatically flow throughout the data ecosystem we’ve created.
Great for Inventory Management, Lacks CRM Reliability
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Acumatica's ability to track inventory and keep it organized, which is crucial for handling our 100,000 products. It does a very good job of this, making it a solid and wonderful product for inventory management. The product team appreciates this feature a lot. Additionally, the initial setup was easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a CRM, it completely misses customer data. It's unreliable. It crashes, and it's slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Acumatica for tracking sales, orders, and inventory. It serves as the source of knowledge for our sales. It accurately tracks our 100,000 products, keeping inventory organized, which is very valuable.
Easy to Use, Worth It for Visibility and Time Savings
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to navigate and use, new users didnt need much training to get comfortable with it. Its not the cheapest but its been worth it for the visibility and time saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can add up as we scale, especially once we started adding more modules. Some integrations also take more effort than we expected and aren't always as plug-and-play as we'd hope.
The system can get a bit slow as we grow, and some pages with large amounts of data dont display properly on smaller screens, making them harder to use.

Acumatica helps us keep everything in one place instead of juggling multiple systems. It gives us better visibility into our operations and real-time data, which make it easier to make decisions and saves us a lot of time day to day.
Centralizes Finance, Needs Better Templates
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Acumatica allows us to share the same chart of accounts across all our companies. It's really helpful having all the company data in the same tenant as it makes cross-checking internal invoices easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the periods/months difficult to read, and the balance sheet and profit & loss don't have a standard template; everything needs to be tailor-made. The initial setup wasn't easy at all, every setting is so specific.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acumatica consolidates various tasks like budget, invoice approval, and payroll into a single platform, making it our one-stop software. Sharing the same chart of accounts and easy internal invoice cross-checking across all companies has streamlined our processes.
Enhances Finance Insight, Needs Better Report Designer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ISV community in Acumatica that offers good products like Velixo. Velixo feels like writing SQL queries but keeps the formatting just the way I like it.

What do you like best about the product?
Customer Centric Mentality. Acumatica is the most adaptable ERP System I have ever had the pleasure to introduce to the Companies I have worked for. The sheer ease of use, ease of training and the overall homey feel of Acumatica comes top of mind.
It has been clearly built for the Cloud by Accounting, Operations, Procurement, Sales and Admin people on the Team. Every detail has been thoroughly tested and where there is a shortfall, Acumatica takes Ownership and works to clean whatever Issue up quickly and to the Customer's Satisfaction.

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, our Support Team hasn't told us "NO" to any request or scenario we have asked to implement. It is our mission to someday stump the Team, but so far Acumatica has handled all of our requests with no or minimal enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our ROI is incalculable. I like hearing our various Team members say, "That was easy..." when training or showing them how to do something in Acumatica. Streamlined processes have saved us so much time in operations that we have time on our hands to better serve our Customers, Vendors, Stakeholders.

We’ve had a largely positive experience with Acumatica. The platform is reasonably priced, especially given the breadth of functionality it offers. It’s also highly customizable and scalable, which has allowed it to fit the specific needs of our industry and continue to adapt as our organization grows.
A major advantage for our team has been how well Acumatica integrates with Excel and Velixo. Being able to import and export data easily, build reports, and work within a familiar Excel environment has made our financial reporting and analysis much more efficient.
We’ve also found the support team to be responsive and helpful, which matters a lot when implementing new workflows or refining existing ones in a system as robust as an ERP.
Overall, Acumatica has proven to be a flexible, reliable platform that supports both day-to-day operations and longer-term growth.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Acumatica is its fully integrated platform that connects CRM, sales, inventory, and financial data in one system. As an Intake Specialist, I can seamlessly manage opportunities, accounts, quotes, and convert them into sales orders without duplicate data entry. The real-time inventory visibility and order tracking help us respond quickly to customer requests. Its customizable dashboards and integration capabilities also make reporting and data synchronization efficient and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Acumatica is highly functional, certain advanced configurations and customizations can require technical expertise and system administrator support. Some screens can feel data-dense, which may need some getting used to in the beginning. Additionally, complex reporting sometimes requires deeper knowledge of Generic Inquiries or external tools for advanced analytics. However, these challenges are manageable once users become familiar with the system.
