Great Product

  • November 21, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The product continues to get better, with new updates and services coming on-board each quarter. We like the Custom Visual builder to help us target users with specific marketing/merchandising comms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Visual Builder has not evolved since we launched with Qubit 3 years ago. There limited support for mobile view builder and the preview is restricted by the settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved CRO and personalisation

A great product for quickly gauging the viability of new features, UX, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Qubit has a great team who know their product very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be difficult to test complex ideas when the code is bundled independently from the bulk of the source code and executed after page load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We not only use Qubit to test new features and ideas but we also use it to rapidly deploy campaigns that are running to a tight deadline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product doesn't suit every use case but can be a powerful tool when used correctly

Over 150 tests in 7 months

  • November 16, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fast and relatively easy to set up Qubit experiences, we've managed to release an important test within 7 days period, including full QA.
Great platform for personalisation, product testing, marketing tests and optimisation.
We are able to create compex on boarding journeys to deliver the best experience for our new players.
Segmentation can be as targeted as you need and you can make sure the same player is not getting multiple marketing messages.
Integration with Google analytics allows to get real time data and provides an additional tracking for experiences.
Data extract allows to get target vs control breakdown and analyse performance of the experiences with own BI tools.
Mobile access to Qubit Pro comes really handy when you need to make changes outside of working hours.
Integration with the CRM engine allows to run real time CRM campaigns that were not possible without Qubit.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not everything is customized enough for a marketing team, for example, segment build doesn't cover all the options and segments require some dev work to be build.
In terms of analysis, Qubit dashboard is sometimes misleading.
Some tools stop working from time to time, for example data extract was not available for the past 7 days, however I was given an alternative (and less user-friendly) solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On boarding
New player journeys
Personalisation - showing different content to different player groups
Product testing - testing new features on site before it gets implemented to 100% of the audience, including testing registration form
Marketing tests - AB testing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure integration is done properly

Best Personnalisation Tool

  • November 15, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Qubit solution is very powerful to offer one to one customization. The data base usable in the tool is extremely exhaustive, the limit is almost solely on the creativity and innovation of Qubit users. Qubit Team member lead us in a well-defined roadmap and especially in the innovation of the new features offered by the tool. Being able to create difference experiences to different audiences creates a whole new level of experiencing a website. In addition, we have also put in place feature templates that can be live very quickly depending on business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
A technical skill is strongly recommended to use the different modules of the solutions. It could be considered to adapt the platform to a wider audience (eg: marketing). Certification and e-learning program could be put in place to support a wider audience on the accessibility of the tool.
Finally, a last note of attention is to be made on the implementation of this tool including tracking level which is quite heavy in terms of investment of human and temporal resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gain in agility with the setting in AB Test many innovative features on site. Improved ROI by customizing the route by audience segment. Always in continuous improvement with at least 3 ab live tests on site.
Above all, send the right message at the right time to the right person. Qubit helps us realize this customer promise on a daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Need strong technical skill but infinity opportunities

Market leader for UX and feature testing

  • November 15, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the extensible nature of the platform for more complex testing - there really is no limit to the tests that can be performed using the platform, the limit generally being our own website. The build processes behind test delivery has allowed our development team to complete feature builds that are otherwise much more difficult to integrate on our native platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some platform-specific knowledge makes development of test experience somewhat challenging, especially for teams of hybrid designer-developers. However, the documentation is improving as a continual process to alleviate this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing new concepts for UX and UI hypotheses. We've realised some good levels of uplift in conversion rate and engagement through personalisation and UI experimentation, which has ultimately resulted in revenue uplift and native implementation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, I haven't got much experience of other comparable platforms, but it's my understanding that Qubit is one of the better, full-featured options.

What do you like best about the product?
Minimalistic design of the platform (backend) which is super user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
Unstable preview environment which most of the time didn't pops up correctly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Possibility to communicate custom messages to customers with an ad-hoc graphic layout
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is ok and user friendly in the backend environment. Even with lots of experience loaded the usability speed is great.

Intuitive and smart - Setting up takes a while though

  • November 15, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Once Qubit events are all set up and working, experiences are very easy to set up. Documentation is great too. Templating has really freed up time for our dev team to focus on other tasks rather than making many content changes. It's really easy to get your head around, very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Non-technical aspects of experience creation, such custom events etc could be easier to set up.
Primary set up is really important and it hasn't gone perfect. Follow up help to get this sorted has not been great. Also we can't seem to set up unique variables for our customers and just work based from set ones.
Experience CSS area doesn't work well on a SPA environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A/B tests. RTM messaging and Data collection. Segmentation has allowed for the use of template based experiences taking a lot of workload from Daily content editing dev tasks. We've even added permanent features to our user journey via Qubit avoiding the need for backend team involvement. Front end all the way!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Primary set up is important, don't rush into building without getting your foundation sorted.

Flexible platform, Integral to our testing strategy provided you have the relevant data

  • November 15, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Qubit is a platform I have worked with for roughly 5-6 years. The main highlights for me have been the flexibility of amending/improving site UX aside from the regular deployment roadmap. I have launched promotions, patch fixed and A/B tested using segmented customers based on behaviour. Qubit comes with a wealth of algorithmic add ons aside from A/B testing that may or not benefit all businesses but are certainly worth looking at.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's less of a dislike but where Qubit shines is in it's collaboration with your own data. I would highly recommend surfacing as much data to Qubit as you can in order to maximise the potential of your tests or segments. As above, Qubit does not just focus on testing but recommendations for product, retargeting and algorithm based engagement. I will caveat this with the fact that not all of these products may suit you, but if you partner up with a CRO agency who are proficient enough, they should be able to guide you, alongside Qubit's own services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A/B testing is an ongoing process and one that we have seen draw big results. Our base roadmap of site developments have been geared around test performance. Our goal is to use Qubit learnings to drive value of site development alongside our major projects. This not only ensures a clear roadmap but a happy and energised business who are confident the updates are justified based on our goals.

Intuitive and has given an extra level of control

  • November 15, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Personalising the website using different segments and taken that to the next level with unique versions of the website experience for each segment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Visual Editor could do more and it would be better to simply edit text rather than remove and replace blocks like you would in Google Chrome Inspector.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The travel/leisure industry is very competitive and we are looking forward to creating even more personalised experiences to ensure our guests see the breaks and locations that's best for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Being able to create difference experiences to different audiences creates a whole new level of experiencing a website. Not just that, but using Qubit to create visual tweaks saves you time and money on dev costs and allows you to tailor your site exactly how you want it.
