Tool with extensive business search technology.
What do you like best about the product?
Initiative mind should be noted, that I like this search software mainly for its integrations with various platforms, to promote an effective use of Coveo improving its operation in large quantities valued, mentioning my favorite term of service, is that it allows indexing data in different systems formulated in the cloud, in other aspects, we consider highlighting that its programming is very fast, the results of the proposed investigation appear quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The significant disadvantages in relation to Coveo is that the results shown are not always relevant to the issue raised to investigate, they are ordered to us, considering a total lack of control of random information, much less does it contain a solution for this kind of problems, frequently presented, in main terms to the software, in its new user interface were cumbersome and timely, to make changes based on business requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coveo is used in our organization mainly as the business search and research platform for the client, we always make the most of it since it offers us quite complex functions according to its performance, when implemented on our servers obviously, this software helps us to index disparate data sources across the company in order to allow the users that we have on the websites that relate to us with the theme of the field that we practice, a central place to find out information in successful ways.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you contain a roadmap of the systems with which you want to integrate, in all its available, since Coveo will be the best possible solution, to manage a large search development, this software is suitable for tracking large collections of elements that are built into this system, while organizing content based on templates and folder structures, that is, facets will allow you to group related content independently at your cloud-based convenience.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Coveo adapts to each user, we firmly believe that each user is different, that is why we offer you different experiences on your journey through our digital platforms in order to make you feel welcomed, which motivates you to build loyalty with the brand and encourage the consumption of our services, a satisfied customer attracts more customers that is why we strive so hard to improve the degree of satisfaction and loyalty of our users with our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problems we had with the deployment of the platform were normal at the time of deploying a new platform, delays in the implementation of processes and protocols, as well as delays in testing and data collection, it was a tedious process but we managed to solve it quickly with the help of the software provider who was very helpful.

We chose Coveo's services because it allows us to better understand our audience, as it handles a large number of indicators that help us to understand the needs of our users based on their favorite content and their most frequent queries, each user has different tastes, which is why the content is personalized allowing each user to have a different experience, in addition to this it manages a modern interface with easy access from the cloud, not to mention the wide variety of functionalities that allow us to better interact with our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a suggestion for improvement, I would like the reports to be available in more formats, in addition to having the possibility of linking the tables with SQL protocols that allow me to update the information in real time, the cost is a little high taking into account other options, but without a doubt the functions that Coveo offers have been very useful for our company, and the price has gone into the background
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Marketing department was greatly benefited by acquiring the services of the Coveo platform, its easy and fast access in the cloud, allowed our consultants and distributors to remotely access the information and participate more actively in the creation processes of content as well as in the interaction with the users of the different platforms, the flow of visitors increased considerably to a great extent to the novelties offered by Coveo regarding the experience of intelligent navigation.

The cross-platform service has contributed to making it possible to send text messages to our customers with promotions and short promotional messages, as well as automatic notifications reminding us of the use of our services and digital platforms, and also the interaction through chats on our social networks to provide service to the customer, solve doubts and concerns and sell services, in addition to all the above Coveo allows us to collect information from our users which is vital to develop effective products
What do you dislike about the product?
Deploying the platform required a training process by the software provider, the initial configuration process and synchronization of customer databases for the respective mass sending of messages, as well as the search and information gathering adjustments require A high degree of detail to ensure its effectiveness, this process takes time and requires knowledge of the subject, so the application is recommended for trained personnel with specific knowledge in handling this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coveo has allowed us to increase the use of digital platforms, given the difficulty of providing physical services due to the crisis that the world is going through, we have managed to increase customer traffic on social networks and on our web platform, this has allowed us to continue marketing our products and keeping our brand active and present in the minds of consumers, the Coveo platform allows us to interact with our customers and offer digital experiences to our users through different media.

I like having my monthly checkins with Paul Knight my Success Manager. He really understands the product and our vision and helps us improve our search experience everyday.

Not fully utilizing the Javascript User Interface

What do you like best about the product?
Full-featured, insanely powerful, AI-driven search in the cloud. Works like an on-prem product without the headache of managing your own infrastructure. Full-featured API allows maximum integration capabilities and customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Access controls could be more granular. It's hard to give users access to only select features, which is risky because you don't want too many users with the ability to take destructive actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highly relevant search results across a vast array of content. Coveo crawls and updates the index constantly and is very good at adding/removing documents on time, which decreases the amount of tickets we receive about "I can't find this document", or "why is this document still showing up in the search results?". We've seen an overall decrease in time spent searching and query click-through rates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to make sure it's the right solution. Ask any other vendor if they offer all of the same features in their cloud-hosted solution via their admin panel.

What do you like best about the product?
Coveo is one of the business search applications with an advanced vision for companies. It has an easy interface, with a simple tutorial to understand. It has a large repository.Thanks to the fact that the connectors are supported from the original programs, there is an absolute integration in the search.

The relevance editor does not take into account the history, so it can yield results that do not exert value for certain searches

Coveo's Implementation and Customer Success teams ensured that our solutions not only worked but that we got the most out of our implementation after go-live.
What began as a requirement for a federated search engine ended up providing so much more. The Implementation team worked with us to guide us through the installation and configuration of the product, which gave me the skills needed to enhance the solution as needed. Post go-live, the Success team stepped in and helped us to understand our usage and customer experience so that we could better interpret our metrics, and plan future improvements, such as machine learning.

What do you dislike about the product?
We were unable to take advantage of the functionality released in the subsequent version of Coveo because our SalesForce implementation contained a lot of bespoke code which needed to be uplifted to lightning before we could upgrade the Coveo tool-set (this was a major version change). While this was more to do with our SF implementation in general, it would be nice if some of the Coveo machine learning features were made available in the older version as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a need to replace a Google Search Appliance which was used internally to index various SharePoint sites and search the support ticketing systems, as well as add a proper search and knowledge engine to SalesForce service & Knowledge (as the SalesForce product was very immature at the time).
The Coveo engine exceeded our expectations and enabled us to add multiple new sources of knowledge to the portal, as well as setup indexing of our new global SharePoint implementation.

If you have selected Coveo, I strongly encourage you to attend their user conferences and make good use of the Customer Success team. They know their business and are passionate about helping their customers succeed.
