We Trust Mimecast For Email Protection and Security and It Has Not Disappointed Us
What do you like best about the product?
Securing the business email gateway is the desire of every business, and Mimecast Email Security with Threat Protection has been working well for us. I like that it comes at an affordable cost and that deploying it as well as using it is a breeze
In addition, this software offers great security features and can as well help encrypt emails and files when sharing them

What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely zero problems experienced using Mimecast Email Security with Threat Protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Mimecast Email Security with Threat Protection to keep our email gateway threat proof, and this ensures we do not have incidences of phishing, corrupt emails, and data loss. The software is good at what it does as we never have threats getting into our emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For better and affordable email gateway protection, look for a tool that has been tested and proved, such as Mimecast Email Security with Threat Protection. We have used it successfully and hence the reason I'm recommending it.
Great tool for filtering spam mails
What do you like best about the product?
1. It effectively blocks/holds unwanted spam and marketing emails.
2. It also holds emails from domains other than permitted ones.
3. I like the "outside organization" badge on emails that are not sent by people from my company.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very great in blocking phishing emails. They tend to appear very authentic, that's why the software could not block them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using as email filter. To block unwanted emails that are from unknown domains.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is capable of doing what it is for. Although not all phishing emails are filtered, some get passed by the filter.

There is a lot that I like about this email security solution. First, the software doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and therefore, any business can afford it.
Secondly, I like that all the features are easy to use and understand.

Since I haven't encountered problems with this software, I cannot list any flaws.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deployed this tool to protect our email gateway, and so far, it has been amazing. In addition, we no longer have to worry when sharing sensitive data thanks to the encryption features.

This is a must-have business solution if you care about your email security. I'm recommending it because it has been great.

Easy way to get files back and forth in a secure manner without having to have FTP set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The addin can be unstable and unadds itself from outlook frequently.

Security issues are constantly popping up. Keeping people from accessing spam on company email is a pretty large prority.
Great Solution, if you get the right Staff to support you
What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast search is the fastest I've used. Web UI is reasonably clear to understand once you acclimate. Most support staff very knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some areas of the UI are overly complicated to administer. Other regions need the relatively newly added ability to add notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SPAM and Attachment Protection is fantastic. I'm down to 1 or 2 spam messages a day. It used to be more than 10. Users can manage their own whitelist/blacklist.

Very easy to use, intuitive, comprehensive email security solution.

It does catch some legitimate emails by default

If you are looking for a platform that provides security and enterprise-level user training, Mimecast is for you.

What do you like best about the product?
The contectual warnings are much more helpful than a static notes added to every email. Beacon/tracker blocking is impressive and a previously unrecognized issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's impossible to tell how the intelligence it applied to a particular message, why was it or wasn't it "tagged".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Greatly improved information is provided to users. Impersonation attacks are controlled and blocked much better than in our previous system.

The admin interface is clunky. Finding the correct area for something is difficult

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast's email security really works. I like how easy it is to use the portal to view and release held emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of is the addin sometimes has issues with Outlook.

Mimecast allows emails to stay secure. This is important in environments where users don't always know what is and isn't safe to click on.
