It was configured with high security where in no chance of threat.

I felt nothing to dislike. There are no specific reasons to dislike it.

It provides security gaps which may lead to mislead the data and causing security breach.

Mimecast do not disclose the source of threat intel which is sensible but sometimes can be painful.

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast has put itself upfront by going deep into various aspects of email security. From URL Protection, attachment sandboxing, and spam filtering to next-generation AI-based Threat feeds it is leveraging emerging and advanced email-based attack vector data to keep email security up to date to catch up with adversary tactics to limit their efforts to compromise and infiltrate IT systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as email security requirements and capabilities are concerned Mimecast is at par but it is somehow hard to administer. Delivery of security goals from an E-mail perspective are almost entirely fulfilled thus administering pains can be ignored
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Up to date capabilities to defend against Email based threat vectors. It enhances and reinforces email security by implementing a zero trust model while processing emails from a cybersecurity perspective.

Give proper training to personnel to get best out of this valuable tool

It prevents you from receiving unwanted emails.

It holds up emails I need; however, once you realize it, you can go in and whitelist domains.

Better email gateway to secure email traffic
What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast very effective to secure your organization from email threats. It will give various types of protections from external as well as internal threats. It will give impersonation protection, URL and Attachments protection to secure emails. Impersonation detection policies based on new domain, internal users etc. It will take actions on malicious mails like blocking and all. Based on different policies emails are held by Mimecast and admin can take action on the held emails according to the legitimacy. Admin can reject or release.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positive rates are quite more. Also in log analysis perspective it will give logs for only detections and not for all emails like gtrace. Admin console should be more user interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mimecast is very helpful to detect email threats so benefits are more. We can detect email threats like phishing, spam, impersonation etc. No any problems seen as such.

I like that it screens suspect emails and spam emails to help protect my work/company.

Sometimes it blocks emails that it should be permitting.

It helps mitigate risk management and weed out emails that could be threats to our company.

The information about the upcoming threats is really important.

The price for the products is higher. and some features may be included as free of cost without the payment hassle.

The new threats can be categorized and the remedy can eb applied on those threats based on their characteristics.

Great Product - Abysmal Support
What do you like best about the product?
The product is flexible and effective. It can accomplish very complex filtering and can be utilized to accomplish things well beyond what it appears designed to do at first glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support of the product has been a terrible experience. In the years that we have used the product, there has been absolutely no improvement in support despite many promises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our primary use is to encrypt any outbound message that contains protected health information. However, we also use it to scan for incoming malware, prevent specific internal users from being able to send/receive emails from outside the organization, which helps us minimize the risk associated with phishing.

The layout of the website is modern and I felt at ease when using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't truly understand all of the features that were on offer but that may be due to me not knowing the system entirely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Normally I would use it to check for any quarantined email or phish.
