Gumlet is an Intelligent & uber secure video host
What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet is easy to use & intuitive for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see Gumlet add additional white-label & reseller options. That's how much I like it. I'd like to see additional teachers use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DRM (digital rights management) video hosting that easily scales and loads quickly.
Gunlet video is a great alternative to Vimeo to host and stream videos
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried my fair share of platforms, but Gumlet Video has quickly become my go-to choice for video hosting. It's like Vimeo, but easier to use, good interface, and packed with features that make my life a whole lot easier. Vimeo was confusing, but here with Gumlet: uploading, organizing, and managing my videos is much more convenient. No more getting lost in confusing menus or searching for obscure settings. I like their video player and options too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously, changing video hosting platform can be really time consuming and I was initially afraid of switching completely from Vimeo to Gumlet video but after testing it for a while and getting more certainty, I found out there was a function to import directly all videos from Vimeo (and even S3) to Gumlet video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Other video platforms are good for marketing (Youtube) and used to be good for video hosting and protection (Vimeo), but I was looking for a video platform that could offer all of that together with choices in configuration and options for the video player with also the possibility to host them under my own brand (Cname), and easier to parameter the features & options on top of that.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Gumlet for the images. I like that I don't store the images on Gumlet since I already have an R2 storage. The image optimization and resizing results are great and very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the videos and images are a different subscription plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to resize and optimize the images I have stored on my R2 storage without using Cloudflare's image resizing feature. Gumlet offered a better system for that. This has helped me optimize my image files on our website so that we can have a more performant image delivery and higher score on Google Lighthouse.
Solid product, incredibly responsive team
What do you like best about the product?
The Gumlet team is incredibly responsive and every interaction has been extremely positive. I've always had my questions answered within a few minutes, and even if first line support can't answer it, they act as an intermediary and get answers right away.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've run into a few bugs, and there are some interface and workflow frustrations.
For example, even if you don't have access to a particular feature as part of your plan, the options to enable it are still preset. They don't enable, but there is no explanation given as to why
Another issue is with the profiles: there is no way to reprocess a file if you change the profile. You have to delete the videos and then reupload them again. There is also no way to add resolutions, etc afterwards. If you didn't have your profile right to begin with, you have to start all over again. This seems like a waste of resources because you almost have no choice but to select every single profile option just in case you might use it later.

Needed a hosting platform that would handle the processing and optimization for me. The added bonus of also creating subtitles, etc are also huge.

I had a problem with the login, and the support team has sent me a new link to login and they fixed the problem the same day.

Gumlet is designed to be easy to use, making the process of uploading and managing videos straightforward even for me because I am not a tech-savvy person.

Gumlet allows significant customization of the video player, including adding brand colors, logos, and call-to-action buttons.
4. Robust Security Features:
The platform provides strong security measures such as DRM, dynamic watermarks, and geo-blocking to protect videos from unauthorized use and piracy.
5. Detailed Analytics:
Gumlet offers comprehensive engagement and playback analytics, providing valuable insights into how viewers interact with content, which is crucial for content strategy and audience understanding.

After checking out everything Gumlet Video offers, I really can't find anything I don't like about it.

Gumlet Video is super helpful because it makes sharing your videos really easy. You can add your own style to the video player, which is awesome if you want your videos to stand out. It also keeps your videos safe from people who might try to steal them, and it tells you which parts of your videos people like the most.
A Game-Changer for Video Hosting and Streaming
What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet excels in user-friendliness, even for those new to video hosting, which significantly lowers the barrier to entry for creators and educators such as myself. Gumlet completely replaced my need for other expensive video hosting platforms.

I don't dislike anything so far. It seems to work great!

One of the most significant advantages I've found with Gumlet is the ease of creating and managing multiple VSLs. The platform's intuitive interface allows me to upload and organize my videos without any hassle. This is a game-changer for me, as creating various VSLs for different courses can be quite a task. With Gumlet, I'm able to focus more on the creative aspect of my VSLs, knowing that the technical side is well-handled.
Great Alternative to YouTube & Vimeo

Gumlet offers several features that make it a comprehensive video hosting, streaming, and content management platform. Here are some of the key features that I like best about Gumlet - flawless video streaming, customization options that allow you to make videos a part of your brand identity, and various security measures to protect your videos from piracy and unauthorized access, analytics insights. reliable hosting, excellent customer support, image optimization ( <- this is HUGE), and three different publishing options which is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Though Gumlet is a very dynamic platform, it does have a bit of a learning curve to it. However, they're aware of this and invite you to join their community of fellow creators, video engineers, and their team for a helping hand. In addition, they also offer to schedule a one-on-one to go over how to use Gumlet.

For us, Gumlet solves several issues...
It provides simplified video publishing, no distractions after viewing the video, multiple publishing options, video hosting and security, video analytics & insight (which is great for our clients), streamlined workflows, and image optimization (<- again, this is huge as we're website designers).

Good hosting, many options - not everything is perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet offers many features for video hosting including numerous settings for the player, branding and security. The streaming speed is very good - at least in the tests I carried out. The UI is fine, I found my way around pretty quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of the settings are clear to me - but there are tutorials for that, you have to invest a bit of time. Also had an error uploading my logo. I wrote a message in the chat about this = you should get a response within a few moments. After about 30 minutes I still haven't had an answer. This should definitely be improved.

I have an online agency and use numerous videos on various websites. For this I was looking for a good and solid video hosting platform.
a worthy alternative to Vimeo & Co
What do you like best about the product?
A new star in the video content sky. The videos load super fast in 4K. The UX is clear. I'm glad to have found a worthy alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a few issues. The live translation only shows English, Hindi, and Spanish, but I am sure that more languages will be added soon.
