While I greatly appreciate the OneSignal application and its many features, I would like to share some aspects that I believe could be improved.
Firstly, I have noticed occasional delays in the delivery of notifications. While these instances are not frequent, they can be disruptive, particularly when timely communication is critical. Ensuring more consistent and immediate delivery would significantly enhance the reliability of the service.
Secondly, the user interface, while generally intuitive, can be overwhelming for new users. Simplifying the layout or providing more comprehensive onboarding tutorials would help users become proficient more quickly and with less frustration.
Thirdly, the customization options for notifications are extensive, but the process of setting them up can be complex. Streamlining these processes and offering more preset templates could save time and reduce errors.

Also, the API is straightforward to integrate, and the free plan offers enough features that are perfect for small businesses like me. Additionally, the analytics and A/B testing tools is of great help.

My main concern is to how to migrate subscribers when changing domain, seems not well thought.

Push notification is one of basic and very fundamental needed for app.
Powerful and easy to setup
What do you like best about the product?
If you ever used any CRM tool and have setup journeys, automations and audiences, you'll find it pretty easy to get a hang of OneSignal. It's pretty straightforward to use and gives a lot of fliexibility to setup mobile pushes and in-app banners, even if you have close to zero knowledge about CRM. I've been delegating OneSignal related tasks to junior staff and in a week or two they've been flying with little to no supervision.
I was able to setup automated messages, sign-up and retention journeys with such ease. And even better: I could see the impact of each action week over week.
OneSignal also has a lot of integrations, which helps with in-depth analytics and with setting up cohorts with our CDP platform. It definetely became a daily tool for customer engagement and retention in our platofrm.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I actually miss in OneSignal is the ability to post a webhook in any other platform that fires a push notification through OneSignal (right now I can only use webhooks to send information out of OneSignal). And maybe a bit more flexibility on dynamic content (being able to fetch content from a source would be great)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal mainly helped us guide new users through our app and later driving them back to our app if they stay away for too long. The impact of the journeys we've setup was huge.

I've been using Onesignal for almost 3 years now, it's very easy to get started with anad implement across web and mobile platforms.
To also add, they have a very sweet API docyuumentation which I have used to implement server side notifications in the past.

What do you dislike about the product?
If there's one thing I'd like to see, it'd be Onesignal providing their own SMS provider rather than using a third party provider. Nothing beats having just one platform for all one's notification and promotional services

Marketing, targetting a group of people and individuals, using live activities (though I would love to see this feature more on Android if possible).

I've had an issue implementing live activity with OS feature on our app and reached to get some help.
I got nice, helpful and super quick replies from the start, from getting connected to the right person to setting up a call to discuss further. Juan was my point of contact, he was helpful provinding lots of detail, even after the call, sending me snippets of code and more links to the docs. I met Dominick on the call who shared his screen walking me through OS newest LA updates and helped troubleshoot what could be going wrong on my side.
With both Juan and Dominick we managed to resolve my issue. I was positively surprised with the kind of suport I got, the speed and the quality of it, which were both superb. Thank you
