Magnificent support
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to implement it in Flutter. The documentation also seems quite clear to me and the support they have is very good, Dominick helped me and answered the questions he had. 5 stars to him.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I did not find anything tedious, but I am thinking that some InApps do not work or take too long to reach the device. Maybe it's an implementation problem or not. But I have nothing else I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One Signal is implemented in my company's app to send push notifications and also InApps based on triggers when a user performs a series of operations in the app. Another area of the company also uses it, but I'm not sure how, only for marketing.
Tedious integrations made easy
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal, as the name suggests, provides a singular platform for all kinds of comms for our users.

What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding the panel is a bit confusing and overwhelming at the first sight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we had to integrate separate platforms for separate comms. Like email, push notifications, and sms.
Now, we've just integrated one platform and it does all the comms for us.
We also now get a comprehensive platform for all sorts of comms analytics.

Simplest notifications tool for developers
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal is a simple, all-in-one solution for sending out push notifications to users either all at once or in specified segments. It was really easy to get set up and has helped us stay in touch with our users with instant updates. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's sometimes a delay between sending a notification and and all users receiving it, and the platform doesn't offer any explantion why – this has tripped us up a couple of times when sending out urgent updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal lets us easily connect with users in real-time, and lets us reach out with personalised and company-wide updates. This has helped us get the word out when new features and promotions are launched.
It has been good for the most part. Some issues setting it up for expo react native on ios.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to register devices for remote push notifications, reasonable pricing and a decent sdk. All around a decent experience. Can't say much how it relates to other services however as this is the only one I personally have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small issues when setting up the sdk for expo and react native. Mainly on IOS some cocoapods versions made any reference to onesignal or other notifiction services crash the pod installation.

OneSignal helps us send push notifications to our users and if needed prompt users with in-app messages.
Useful easy-to-use system to boost your CRM numbers
What do you like best about the product?
The help and support we receive from the team. They are always on hand to help with queries. If they do not know the answer then they always aim to come back with a response and alternative solution quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some of the functionality is missing. One Signal is generally easy to use and intuitive, but because of this, there are some options that are not fully developed if more complex options are applied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating notifications and ease of creating newsletter-style notifications quickly and easily. Also having accessible and understandable analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
The setup is easy. I finished setting up onesignal on my react app for iOS and Android within hours. Documentation is really helpful

The dashboard is a bit confusing. It took me awhile to find out where to do things

Sending a custom notification to app user and onesignal helps to achieve that easily
Somewhat oldschool feeling tools, but great support

The support is very prompt and have responded within minutes, making it easy for me to get past blockers

The UI is pretty janky in spots, making navigation in the app difficult and unintuitive.

Onesignal makes it easier to communicate directly to our users without having to rely on email.

What do you like best about the product?
Facility to send push notifications to your mobile users. Great technical support. Thanks to Dominick for all his help.

You can't have integrated email users and notifications push users in Audience, so you have two entries per user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending push notifications to users with relevant information for them.
A strenght to my audience OKRs
What do you like best about the product?
I find the tool very simple to use, I learned it quickly, and I know it has many features (although I haven't fully explored them yet). The growth of our audience on OneSignal has been meteoric, and is an excellent channel to spread information quickly and uncomplicatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, it does not offer the possibility of audience segmentation for sites developed in AMP technology, such as ours. This isn't good because part of our interest in having the web push service was to be able to talk to the audience in segments. Another thing that I miss is graphs of open rate evolution, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web pushes help us build an audience that is qualified and interested in what we have to communicate. This is very good because when Google notices that a lot of people are reading a certain content, it understands that it may be relevant to a larger number of people, and ends up promoting it. With this, we generate a positive spin so that more people find what we produce.
Great to tailor the experience of outbound visitors
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very dynamic. We've been able to very quickly set up dozens of custom sequences for users coming from different ads. Usually, tailoring message sequences used to take us a while to do, but with Onesignal, we were able to design a few different sequences and duplicate them with a few tweaks to deliver ads audiences more personalized touches
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing glaring comes to mind, but the customer service is pretty poor most of the time. Thankfully we haven't had to resort to them much but they usually took quite a while to get back when we needed them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our messaging/notification sequences were the same for inbound and outbound audiences which meant that we couldn't get the most out of visitors coming from ads as their experience wasn't tailored to them. Onesignal was great in that regard as we were able to very easily set up new handling sequences with different SMS, emails, and notifications than the ones we use for inbound. After swithcing over, we saw an increase of between 5% - 20% in actions taken by some of our ads audiences which doesn't seem like much but it absolutely launched our ads efforts.
