What do you like best about the product?
Time to market, and how relatively easy to include OneSignal into the project. Support is user-oriented, I have an example when I asked the question to the support team and Dominick from the OneSignal support team reached me. He answered fully and extended. I am pleased with the support and with the robustness of the OneSignal services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to not include the Huawei services by default.

It's very easy to send push notifications and set up in-app messages. The analytics are very precise and all you need to do is have a good idea and start planning your campaign
What do you dislike about the product?
All the tools need to pass through an implementation step before you get your hands on them. This could be an obstacle for some small teams and lead to a delay in the releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching the right users for our campaigns, onboarding new users to our platform, and integrating with analytics platforms such as Amplitude to help us analyze the campaign results.

Onesignal is perfect push notification service that helps to send multiple notifications at ease.

What do you dislike about the product?
Everything has been good and there has been nothing to dislike. The support has been really amazing and it makes sure that your problem is resolved in best possible way and you get the best services.

We are primarily using Onesignal to send push notifications.

The simplicity to connect to one signal, and the reactivity of the support whenever we have questions.

Some of the restrictions, and impossibility to manage few things by ourself.

The possibility to send inapp message and push notifications.
Great and easy-to-use tool
What do you like best about the product?
The use is straightforward. However, if anything is unclear, the support team can be reached quickly and offers valuable assistance. We were in contact with Brit in particular. He was always friendly and helped us a lot, even in case of more specific questions. On a positive note, he quickly connected us with other support colleagues or even directly with the OneSignal development department after his knowledge was exhausted.
What do you dislike about the product?
We encountered a few bugs during our use, but they were limited to the internal usage of the tool only. Although we communicated bugs in the OneSignal tool in detail to the development department of OneSignal, the problem-solving by OneSignal was, unfortunately, sometimes prolonged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool allows us to set up targeted messages at any time without the need to involve the development department, which is a significant advantage. Furthermore, many customization options are offered, which was unfortunately not the case with our previously used tool. In addition, the messages are sent with the highest reliability.

Onesignal helps us offload management of push notification specifics so we don't have to worry about it.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the past, support has just linked to documentation pages that we have already read, and could take several interactions before getting to a more technical support member who can help with a specific issue.
Some of the operations surrounding external user ids seem like they are still in progress. It can be a hassle to find device information based on an external user id, without knowing the individual device ids or other metadata about the user.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using onesignal to reduce the complexity of our own system, by abstracting any device-specific information from own database, we are able to target users directly without worrying about what devices they are using, if any.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Their comprehensive API and visual dashboard make it easy to use onesignal from both automated systems and busniess-oriented users making manual targeting campaigns.

Lately, the site has crashed a few times, nothing to risk our performance or delivery, but just a small pain to implement or review things at the moment.
Analytics could also be more friendly (but i don't care that much because I see them in Amplitude)

It's a great tool, simple, and you can try for free on the first tier of pricing, so no risk at all in that matter.

While using the free plan I don't feel like I have anything to dislike, the only thing I feel some time is limiting is the number of segments and data tags available in the free plan. this limit can be extended a bit.

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal allows for a ton of customization. They segment users and have a very user-friendly UI for integrating notifications. The SDK installation is lightweight. The customer service I've received is beyond amazing. They are incredibly responsive and always answer my questions in detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of OneSignal is there is a cap for the volume of notifications sent, and for data analysis exports. They don't keep an archive of data for more than 30 days. It's impossible to do year over year or even month over month analysis in their UI for notification performance. They also don't allow an export all of the data that is shown in the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending custom notifications. We've been able to integrate and start sending notifications quickly and having them as a partner has been a good experience overall.

This is an amazing tool for small to mid-size companies. They have a great solution with tons of awesome features.
Good features with less pricing
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about using one signal is on-time notification delivery and its analytics. And it also has a status for notification delivery. we can implement one signal in both mobile and web unlikeit competitors like firebase who offers the only web.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with one signal is it has this feature where it delivers notifications only when the user is actually using the phone. And I feel it doesn't work accurately as exptected. May be they could implement a way to tackle this.

Sending push notifications, emails, SMS, and much more results in better customer interaction with the product.
