Endless Marketing Opportunities With OneSignal
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of OneSignal is the ability to segment your audience, determining their segment upon when they sign up for OneSignal. I really don't know of a competitor that could do it this this way! Also, the ability to send out images was also cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue with OneSignal has been data ownership. So it depends on whether or not you are marketing or using this for transactional purposes. If only marketing th tracking issues are not that critical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we used OneSignal to solve is the ability to optin and collect customers for Texting based on their city, or segment. This was a great way to communicate to people about events in their city and not for the overall company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need to understand how it works, not abuse the customers with too many messages that are not expected. If you work with OneSignals methods, especially the segmentation, the opportunity is endless. However, like everything that needs to be sophisticated, the tool is great for sending generic messages to several segments. We were successful in going with 100 segments, but we had to use the API. So, it can be amazing, but you need tech support for that.

What do you like best about the product?
one signal is a brilliant solution for sending push notifications to a user on our mobile application. The downtime is pretty almost nill. Notifications are sent very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
customer traffic reports are not organized in the best way and need improvement. Besides that i personally do not find any other hurdle which would make me to dislike it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever i make an app, the main problem is sending the notifications to the user for various event types. Here is the scene where onesignal comes to my help. With the help of one signal my notification sending proccess becomes easy. The integration is quiet simple.

It works as expected, and the support is very good.

I recall the In App messages were rather limited in their design options, so we didn't use them (this was about 6 months ago, so perhaps they've improved).

Connecting with users via push notifications is great to confirm their purchases.

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal was super easy to integrate, and for small companies, their tiered pricing is desirable; most message providers require lengthy and expensive contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a bit difficult to follow at times, somewhat user-unfriendly. Their reporting and analytics could use a boost, too, still need to rely on external providers to report on our message results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal has been excellent for increasing user engagement via push and in-app notifications. They are generally easy to design and set up. Since implementing them, we have seen a definitive increase in user engagement.

OneSignal is a good platform for messaging and user engagement.
Push Notification with powerful API
What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal is easy to integrate into a website with customized prompts without touching code. They support the safari browser, where I don't have to provide a certificate key to send notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly dislike anything, but it would be great if I could change the data tags of users from the backend because sometimes, while reaching their tags limit, all I want is to remove some unnecessary old tags from user data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effectively sending notifications to users when new content is published on our website also making sure to use the Intelligent delivery option to deliver the notification to users at the right time.

What do you like best about the product?
We need to send many push notifications to our users as fast as possible. OneSignal does the job almost flawlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Messages could arrive a little faster, but it's hard to find out where the delay comes from.

I alert my users on mobile applications. It's easy with the provided API.

Easy to use segmentation and the reports available are easy to understand.

Tech support could improve, although in our company we also need better communication between teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I used in my project OneSignal for messaging after Mixpanel ended supporting this service and the customer service was great helping us with the migration. The tool is really easy to use and I would recommend it

I feel a little confusing how user segments are distributed, I feel hard to filter users by some properties I might need to segment. I was looking for something like Mixpanel had where users can be filtered by any property

I am solving the need I have for sending broadcast messages for every user in my application. I wanted to have a way for sending push notification messages to my users
Good product, but lacks some features
What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration with existing products, either standard CMS like Wordpress or custom made apps
What do you dislike about the product?
Web dashboard is a little bit too "light" and lacking of some useful information

Broad comunication with our clients as we all know that mail open rate is not great nowadays. Push com is the easiest way to transmit a message.

It's a good product and if gives what it offers. A little bit pricey but worth it.
New push creation and send are intuitive and easy

Send new pushes to our contacts base is really easy, even for those who don't speak English.

The work to divide submissions by interest is very technical and challenging for a layman to understand.

We can reach our clients in real time with excellent and personalized content and led them to our website.

The Billing Account is only available for the owner, which is really upsetting.
