A great way to increase user retention
What do you like best about the product?
Setup of push notifications is easy, especially with OneSignal's own WordPress plugin, but advanced customization of the signup alerts and segmentation is also simple thanks to the Javascript SDK. The interface to send push notifications is clear and concise, and being able to segment (by interest and country), schedule and retarget means it has everything we need to bring visitors back.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't actually think of any disadvantages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a news publication, bringing users back to the site and improving retention rates is key, and OneSignal helps us do that. It's always a challenge getting new users to subscribe, but we've been surprised at the open rates for the notifications, and have easily brought in millions of additional pageviews.
One tool to rule all communications
What do you like best about the product?
It is an advanced tool, all in one, that includes Push, SMS, Email and works very well for Apps as well as for websites. Integrates also fast and is very reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far we have been replacing other services with OneSignal and we haven't encountered any downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can integrate notifications in our Apps and websites using one tool that is compatible across operating systems. We reduce the integration efforts, the costs and the time to market with each new release.
Great solutions for web push notifications
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to set up on websites. Good dashboard with a lot of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web push notifications til don't work good on iOS devices but that's not OneSignal's fault.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use web push notifications on our websites with a recurring audience: we are able to notify users in real time when we update our websites with the latest news.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of using OneSignal is very very great. It's easy to get around the whole dashboard and the implementation is as easy as it gets. And the best of all it has helped us reach beyond our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really that much to dislike about them. All in all, OneSignal is really easy to use and to get around so we have not had any issues so far that have crossed my mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have successfully implemented OneSignal push notifications as a part of our integrated marketing strategy. Ever since we did that we have seen an increase in all of the metrics that we are measuring.

Flexibility of sending immediate notification to our readers for an new update or published post as well as smart scheduling based on reader activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to set up SMS notifications since it requires additional pricing and third party involvement.

Notifying loyal user base about anything new or any data that we update on weekly basis.

Integration is really easy to set up, the management is all in one place and UI is very intuitive.

Some bugs fixing takes more time than expected.

We rely on OneSignal mainly for user engagement and re-engament.
A long journey from Malls to our App
What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to integrate Onesignal with Mixpanel, which receives all events from my app users. I was able to have all contacts segmented for specific messaging shots.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Onesignal still has an old-looking interface, which ends up being a little disenchanting to use. But everything else about the tool makes it worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onesignal helped me solve all the automatic notification part of my users. Every action that comes from the mixpanel is already being followed directly in Onesignal with some automations and also through the journeys. With the journeys I can get a sense of who my hot and cold audience is so I can stimulate them at the right times.
Best way to contact with customers
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy as possible for contacting and choosing customer from subscribed list. Geofencing, user id, or last used time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually nothing. All psrts of system is working smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I able to access customers real time and abel to notify if they out of geofence or thier balance is down.
Great experience, helped me to have increased traffic.
