Simple & powerful

What do you like best about the product?
The automation and scheduling features save me tons of time, and my users stay engaged without extra effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’d love a bit more customization in the free plan, but overall, it’s a fantastic tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me bring users back to my app, send timely updates, and boost retention

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal has definitely helped my business gain some loyal and genuine users! OneSignal easily integrated with our wordpress website and provided a seamless experience to the users without disrupting user interface. OneSignal push notifications helped us gain a users that read our published content whenever we post through notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I disliked or will suggest is there should be a bit more customization option to the push notifications service such as: being able to change the color of the buttons and the background will really help attracting users to allow notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal helped me solve the user retention problems as we mainly get traffic from organic search and retaining users was tough! But integrating the push notifications with my website allowed users to subscribe to the notifications and now the users get notified about our articles whenever we post increasing our user base as well as brand reputation and trust.

Good app to start with push notification to start when havin a new app

What do you like best about the product?
It has been relatively easily to set up, I worked with my Tech Director to do it. After that he helped me to create the segments we needed (medium effort I would say). After this initial setup was completed, it is very very easy to create and send a campaign (once I have the copy, it's literally 5 minutes). I use only push notifications, because I use email in another platform that offers chatbot and I prefer it to keep this way for the moment. OneSignal push notifications have been very very helpful from the begining, we saw increased returning customers and better conversion. I use it at least one a week since approximately 2 months ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment is working fine for the use I am giving it. I would like to find more opportunitites in the platform once we become more experienced and we have more learnings. I am not sure there is a gradual complexity available in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to directly reach active customers and keep my product top of mind. It has brought significantly increased engagament, we are speaking 7 time more than email engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
(Relatively) easy notification setup for my PWA
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation could be a bit clearer, but the support team was fast and good and were able to straighten me out. Identity verification is not available for PWA, but I found that using the longest possible external ID is sufficiently secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Had difficulty using Google Cloud Messaging, this simplifies it

What do you like best about the product?
We used OneSIgnal in an app for a very large client in Brazil. It helps us primarily with converting customers who do not complete their registration, but also in various moments when creating incentive and customer loyalty campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike, but it could use some UX improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal helped us convert customers who abandoned the app midway through the registration process. Our registration is lengthy, and OneSignal was vital in keeping users engaged.

API and manual/automatic notifications are listed on different pages. The listing pages for notifications are not very feature-rich, for example: they lack some sorting and filtering options.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to send push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS campaigns from one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API is powerful but can feel restrictive when integrating with more complex workflows, for example, the user Opt-in/out process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal solves the challenge of efficiently managing and delivering time-sensitive notifications to our users. Its fast response times ensure that critical, time-boxed requests are handled seamlessly, helping us maintain effective communication and meet our deadlines.

Multichannel experience

What do you like best about the product?
OneSignal allows you to use a multichannel strategy to distribute content through several channels. In our case we use in-app push and web push, but it also allows you to send newsletters by email, SMS and many other options. In addition, it allows you to easily save the configuration to facilitate quick sending of alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback of OneSignal, in my opinion, is that its interface is unintuitive and the navigation of its options could be improved to make it easier to use for team members who are less familiar with these distribution systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main problems that OneSignal corrects is the deficiencies in the internal implementation of alerts offered by our CMS.

It allows us to send urls automatically tagged with UTM to follow the conversion of readers. Another advantage is that it allows the sending of more than 15,000 pushes, something that our CMS does not do, which forces us to divide platforms and browsers, limiting our combined work.

Another important point is that OneSignal allows us to place a photo in our Apple pushes, which our CMS does not allow. This advantage makes the CTR of these alerts much higher.

In addition, Onesignal allows the scheduling of alerts, to be able to maintain a spreadsheet and a continuous flow of messages.

A final point in its favor is its alert preview system, which allows you to get an idea of ​​what the final message will look like.
