What do you like best about the product?

Comprehensive courses, which gives you end to end learning.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the courses are too long for a business professional, because sometimes they just need an answers and learning for a very specific topics.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

For our employees’ career progression, we continuously upskill our learners. Most importantly, they provided us with a very good program that has helped strengthen our overall team’s AI learning.

What do you like best about the product?

The broad offer in courses by big industry players, the associated accreditation and the possibility to curate the offering to an organization's learning needs

What do you dislike about the product?

The pricing for add-ons such as integration with internal LMS currently doesn't sit within our budget which would further lower the barrier to access

Coursera for Business is solving our needs in terms of upskilling people in technical AI skills but also in other domains such as project management

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best is how well Coursera scales for an entire university. With Path Builder, our faculties at Universitas Sebelas Maret built 151 credit-bearing learning paths across 16 faculties, mapping 1,171 courses from partners like Stanford, Google, and IBM to curriculum outcomes. Admin tools let us serve 1,011 learners on 530 licenses (191% utilization), and the Skills dashboards make tracking real competency growth effortless.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some courses follow fixed session-based schedules that don't align well with our university's academic calendar. Video availability and assignment deadlines are locked to specific dates, which makes them less flexible for our learners in Indonesia — especially when a course's timeline falls in the middle of our semester batches. More self-paced flexibility, or the ability for institutions to adjust cohort schedules, would make integration with local academic timelines much smoother.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Coursera solves our core challenge: closing digital and AI skills gaps far faster than curriculum revision cycles allow. In the last 12 months, our learners completed 10,497 courses across 11 skill domains, with validated growth in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Python. Completed learning paths are recognized as formal academic credit — 917 students received credit recognition in 2025–2026 — and graduates attach Coursera credentials to their diploma supplement, directly strengthening employability.

What do you like best about the product?

It has increased the pace of learning and the availability of on spot solution to skill building needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

Assessments shall be tough and difficult at times they are too easy

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Skill building in real time. For instance if I get to train some people on dashboards, I just ask the team to take a course and that's it

The most helpful upside of using Coursera is that it gives us access to a comprehensive range of learning topics and allows us to provide structured learning paths without having to develop all the content internally. This is particularly valuable given our limited resources. Additionally, the learning paths we curated on Coursera have been well received by trainees, who have shared that the content is relevant and aligned with the real challenges they face in their roles. This makes the learning practical, accessible, and impactful.

What do you dislike about the product?

One area for improvement would be expanding the availability of manufacturing-related courses, particularly in the forestry, pulp, paper, and tissue industries. Since these areas are closely aligned with our core business, having more specialized and industry-specific learning content would make Coursera even more relevant for our employees.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Coursera helps solve several business challenges related to capability building and talent development. First, it addresses the lack of internal resources to create and deliver comprehensive learning content by providing access to a wide range of ready-to-use courses. Second, it enables us to offer structured learning paths for trainees and employees in a scalable and cost-effective way. Third, it helps initiate a learning culture by encouraging employees to take ownership of their development and continuously build new skills.

In my case, we love that the license if transferable.

It would be better if there were more options for admins to manage administrative tasks.

It helps us build our staff knowledge and capacities.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the reliability of the catalog and the versatility of its AI-driven tools. Their courses come from important institutions, ensuring quality content and curricular value with certificates for students. It is useful that the courses are taught by the companies that develop the tools. The AI-driven tools are very helpful in assisting teachers with specific issues. I find role play and dialogue particularly useful, as they help students practice, develop critical thinking, and consolidate learning. The initial setup of Coursera for Business was very simple and intuitive, and it's useful that they have their own training courses. Additionally, they have recently added AI support for the review of statistical data.

What do you dislike about the product?

The administration tools could be improved, especially in providing more control over student invitations. Currently, students are only invited from the platform, and sometimes they don't see the email or lose it in the spam folders. It would be useful to be able to directly register students and see their access to the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Coursera for Business solves content problems by offering quality courses with additional certification from important institutions. AI-powered tools assist teachers with specific issues, and role play and dialogue promote critical thinking and student learning.

Basically Coursera can be utilized for the Custom Courses of Academics.
Standout Strengths
Courses from Stanford, Michigan, Imperial College, etc., give training programs instant credibility. Content from Google, IBM, AWS ensures employees learn tools they’ll actually use.
Ready‑made learning paths save months of curriculum design time.

What do you dislike about the product?

Students can scroll forward the videos and lectures without reading.
Pricing is competitive for large enterprises, but smaller organizations sometimes find it expensive compared to Udemy Business or LinkedIn Learning.
Dependence on External Partners
Since content comes from universities and companies, updates depend on them — occasionally leading to slower refresh cycles compared to platforms with in‑house content.

Coursera for Business is solving the critical problem of workforce upskilling in fast‑changing digital domains, helping organizations cut training costs, reduce reliance on external certifications, and boost employee productivity.

What do you like best about the product?

The broad array of course content within the Coursera Career Academy-Plus library.

What do you dislike about the product?

I honestly haven't found anything that I disklike about Coursera for Business and our Coursera partnership.

Coursera for Business provides the underlying foundation for promoting continuing education among our client base.
