Convenient, Scalable Upskilling with High-Quality Courses and Flexible Learning

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Coursera for Business offers a wide range of high-quality courses from top universities and companies, all in one place. It makes upskilling very convenient, especially for teams, because the content is well-structured and easy to follow. The platform also allows flexible learning, so people can learn at their own pace without disrupting their work schedule. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to track progress and performance, which helps in understanding how effectively the learning is being applied. Overall, it’s a very practical and scalable solution for continuous learning and professional growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like much about Coursera for Business is that some courses can feel a bit outdated or not very practical for real-world use, depending on the topic. Also, the UI, while clean, can sometimes feel a bit cluttered when navigating between courses, progress tracking, and admin features. Another downside is that not all courses go deep enough for advanced learners, so it may require using additional platforms for more specialized skills. Pricing can also be a bit high for smaller teams if they’re not fully utilizing all the available content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Coursera for Business, it was difficult to find a single platform that could consistently upskill team members across different domains without spending time on multiple resources. Now, it has made learning much more structured and accessible. It solves the problem of scattered learning by bringing everything into one place, which saves a lot of time.
It also helps in tracking progress and identifying skill gaps within the team, which makes planning training much easier. As a result, we’ve seen better engagement in learning and more practical application of skills in day-to-day work. Overall, it improves productivity while keeping the learning process flexible and cost-effective.

Coursera Saves Time and Money While Keeping Skills Current

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Not only does Coursera provide the skills and training, but it also provides certificates which meet the requirements needed to take certification exams through leading industry providers such as PMP. That benefit is essential to our training deployment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our organization has not identified any issues or dislikes with Coursera yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need employees to get the right training but don't always need the expensive certification costs associated with it. Coursera solves this saving money and time while keeping our employees up to date on the latest industry skills.

Versatile Courses, Needs Improved Filtering

  • April 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the wide variety of courses available on Coursera for Business, as there's always something for everyone, which fits many people's needs. I enjoy that you can enroll in whatever courses you want, making it very customizable. I also appreciate that it's easy to set up for my user account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more way to preview a course before enrolling or having to read something long. Maybe a better way to show objectives. I also don't love the filtering system and I don't think it's specified enough; I want to be able to select all for filters. More filtering that is NOT AI. I want to be able to select courses that contain the keywords I want. I also wish there was a way to put the courses in your basket or book bag to show the courses I'm interested in but not enrolled in. I want to compare options before taking the course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Coursera for Business for professional development goals at my company. It offers a wide variety of courses, catering to many needs, making it perfect for everyone.

Targeted online courses have boosted employee skills and improved client retention

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Coursera for Business has almost all the courses that a student or a working professor like me needs to grow. I have purchased many courses for me and my team at budget-friendly prices. Coursera for Business has collaboration with multiple international universities to solve competency-related issues. It also provides many courses for free, and we can pay in multiple installments.

If you need to train your employees in a specialty or improve their current knowledge, then Coursera for Business is definitely the best choice.

I have implemented employee training by developing a training plan for my team in Coursera for Business.

What is most valuable?

Coursera for Business offers excellent features including international university collaboration, a user-friendly website and app, multiple payment options, and a variety of courses.

The collaboration with multiple international universities and the user-friendly website of Coursera for Business helps my team solve competency-related issues. The platform is very user-friendly with easy navigation and intuitive scrolling to find desired courses.

Coursera for Business has positively impacted my organization by increasing client retention by thirty-five percent. Client acquisition of resources and people has increased, and training and certification costs have decreased.

What needs improvement?

Coursera for Business can be improved because the passing criteria of eighty percent is somewhat high. A more flexible passing criteria would be beneficial. Deadline requirements to pass a certificate can be time-challenging.

The slide content is outdated for some courses.

The peer review system for assignments should be improved in Coursera for Business.

Another area for improvement is that personalized feedback from professors and instructors is not available, and the discussion forum section needs to be modernized.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Coursera for Business for six years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Coursera for Business has not presented any stability issues.

What was our ROI?

I measured the thirty-five percent increase in client retention because our clients were satisfied with our team members' ability to gain vast knowledge and tackle more products on time and deliver them to clients. Client retention increased because they were happy with our services.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Coursera Review

  • August 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Really good way to improve yourself and team, and develop in other professional interests, I like the variance of topics you can choose from, aswell as the ease of use, aswell as ability to get certifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, all these learning platforms (linkedin academy, coursera, preply) are some of the best investments companies can make into perks, have your team develop and take themselves to the next level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me personally, I've learned a lot through there when it comes to digital marketing, finance, AI, etc. I use it as a tool to become an industry expert, I'm in sales, so general knowledge is always good to have in different industries.

From concept to deployment in weeks: fast, structured, and collaborative

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is the ability to curate, brand, and deploy high-quality training paths quickly using CourseBuilder. Coursera’s catalog offers global expertise on emerging topics like AI, with recognized micro-credentials that boost learner motivation and employability. The platform provides flexibility in structure, pacing, and integration, and the support team is highly responsive — making collaboration smooth even during tight rollouts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features could be enhanced to better support large-scale deployments. For example, expanded API capabilities would streamline automation for enrollment and tracking. More localized content in French would also improve accessibility for non-English-speaking learners. Lastly, greater flexibility in progress tracking and badging would help align with external systems like our LMS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coursera for Business helps us reduce content production time, especially on complex or fast-evolving topics like AI. Instead of relying solely on in-house authors and lengthy writing workflows, we can now leverage expert-led content that is already up to date and pedagogically structured. This allows us to focus our efforts on curation, contextualization, and learner support, while offering students access to cutting-edge knowledge from world-class institutions.
