The thing I like most about IBM maximo application suite is that its ability in integration and management of an asset's life cycle from purchase to disposal which streamlined our operations significantly.

What do you dislike about the product?

The one thing I dislike about IBM maximo application suite is the steep learning curve the user has to inculcate while using the software during the initial use. The. intricacies and nuances of the software is a bit hard to tackle for an early user. The software being sluggish during complex database analysis.

Our company was struggling with managing our diverse asset portfolio and performance, which includes production machinery, vehicles, facilities, and linear assets such as pipelines. However, since we started using IBM Maximo Application Suite, it has proven to be an invaluable solution that effectively addresses these challenges and provides substantial benefits.

What do you like best about the product?

App points are easy to use. Open shift makes it technically sound. Integrating with other applications is really easy. Implementation on cloud is very convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?

UI needs a good make over. Mobile app is still bad. A lot is desired in Customer support for enhancements. Not suitable for small scale industries based on frequency of use.

A lot of customization capabilities.
Maximo is a really complete solution with new mobile and role based apps that helps users going through.
It has native connectors with SAP, Oracle, Workdays and other.

Needs a bit of cleaning on the screens so the users are not drowned.

It can give the outcome by taking the Asset data along with integrate it with field device. Life cycle costing, capex, opex and operational and maintenance costing. It can also define the level of services and can make decision related to repair and replace of asset.

To get it's license for every client is expensive and mostly client is it interested to procure the IBM maximo tool.

For process industry, maximo can determine its maturity level by increasing it's reliability and develop the maintenance strategy.
