Great experience with Outreach

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We used to spend hours and hours creating excel lists and performing mail mergers, Then going back into those files and deleting those who asked to be removed or adding notes on those who are interested. It took HOURS. Now, we just put it in outreach and it does all the dirty work. We also have multiple departments reaching out to the same contacts and its good have visibility into who is already been contacted recently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally a sequence will get paused and we won't really know why. We will go into the settings and unpause it, but this doesn't happen often and if you keep an eye out it's not much of a hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving our business problem of TIME. We were spending hours on cold leads that had little chance to convert and now that's all ultimately automated. I have more time to focus on bigger targets but my manager gets the satisfaction of knowing I am contacting everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try if you are stuck in mailmerge hell.

Outreach is a great tool

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to track clicks, links, opens, etc. on both an individual and a group by group basis. The ability to A/B test is also really great when trying to figure out which subject lines are most successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't a whole lot I don't like at this point about the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maximizes my ability to send out mass communication from a "personal" perspective. Outreach takes care of all the tiny details so I can focus my prospecting on very targeted and thoughtful emails. It also expedites the process of reporting and analyzing numbers- allowing me to constantly better my prospecting techniques.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rely on support when you can. they do respond pretty quickly and try hard to be helpful.

Gets the Job Done

What do you like best about the product?
Love Outreach! Do not know what I would do without it. Setting sequences is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy at times. Especially when setting dates for sending emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Following up at the right time(s) and not forgetting critical touch points with prospects and clients.

A MUST if you do Outbound Sales

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Task management makes my day easy and allows me to manage my time effectively.
Very easy to run elaborate sequences to reach prospects.
Connect rates and pipeline generation has increased since using outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that tasks could bydirectionally sync with SFDC. There are concerns about email deliverability and using Outreach in bulk, so you have to be aware of tailoring your emails vs sending too much bulk to preserve our email domain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple cohorts of prospects at different stages or sequences at once. Using task management, you can easily see what you have to do. It is also possible to get data on what is working and what is not.
Moved off of spreadsheets
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn it and use the tool the right way.

Task Management and Email Sequencing that works

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and UX. The UX integrates with my salesforce account, outlook email, and phone seamlessly. I use the system for inside sales and it keeps my hundreds of emails, calls, and tasks sorted and synchronized perfectly. If you use the email sequencing feature religiously it will result in increased sales and productivity. This system is the reason that I'm hitting my sales quota's each month with increasing sales month over month since I started with outreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I am not able to maintain a task page in outreach when I switch between contact pages on Salesforce because it means I have to check my tasks, then find the client page in salesforce, and then reclick into tasks to annotate and complete the task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are aiming to reach out to clients via email and phone call to sell them a lead generation platform built to help Home Builder sell homes. Tracked emails and timed sequences that respond to previous actions taken by me do a much better job of getting replies than if I were to craft emails through outlook and send them manually.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you use it regularly to maximize benefits.

As important in sales as a phone

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to sequence prospects using variables to make the messaging more personalized. The options on when to send pieces of the sequence are top notch
What do you dislike about the product?
while the ability to automatically create a task is nice, sifting thru them can prove to be quite dificult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reaching prospects who do not answer the phone
Recommendations to others considering the product:
definitely check it out if you're looking to add firepower to your sales prospecting

Great sales tool!

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to touch hundreds of prospects with targeted sequences increasing overall effectiveness and productivity! Keeps track of everything that needs to be done in a day/ week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inbound dials to your bridge phone don't always allow the calls to come through or they drop. And when dialing extensions the dialpad is not always accurate (i.e. dialling 22 after getting a general line).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to solve the problem of reaching a busy and uncommunicative prospect by making touch points easy and automated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you implement, really think about the long game with Outreach and how your business processes will work as you scale. It sucks having to go back and fix mistakes, so taking the time at the start is better.

Outreach for sales team of 10 people

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is always introducing new and improved ways to use their system. It seems like these updates come weekly and continue to push their product offering forward.

It has a simple and intuitive interface that is easy to manipulate.

I would recommend the service to any sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the new updates seem to be duplicating existing services. It can be hard to keep up with the updates and make sure you are making the most of the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating our outbound email marketing to cold leads.

Outreach Review

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Really like the simplicity of the platform. Also really enjoy the customer service support - if I have any questions or issues the CS team is incredibly responsive and more than willing to help with any situation that arises. They even send along screenshared GIFs as examples to help solve problems that come up.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of features that would be nice to have, including the ability to filter prospects by given characteristics. I believe now you can only fiter by tag, but having the ability to filter down further would be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue that many small business owners have of finding affordable, on-demand finance professionals. Through Outreach, we've been able to target a large audience, and increase our footprint substantially. We've been able to reach a mass number of prospects through targeted drip campaigns, helping to grow our top line revenue.

Dynamic Email Tool For Prospects

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Absolutely love using Outreach. It is the best way for me to see response and open rates for campaigns and helps me course correct any campaigns that I feel that I need to work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few times Outreach will loose sync with my inbox, so I will email/sequence a prospect that will see no touches or activity because it is waiting to resolve the sync. If I click retry it often times works, but I would love for it to auto resolve if possible in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps the workflow of my organization greatly. I can focus more on researching and less on crafting individualized emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand the product before sequencing. It is important to fully grasp how Outreach is setup for your org (i.e. scheduling, prospect, finished rules, etc.)
