Automated, Multi-Channel Sequences
Outreach’s biggest strength is in automating follow-up across email, phone, LinkedIn, and even SMS—without losing the personal touch. You build a sequence once, and it keeps working in the background, helping reps avoid dropping the ball.
Email, call, and task cadences are all in one place.
Reps stay consistent with outreach across large lead lists.
Easier to scale personalization through templates, snippets, and conditional logic.
📈 Clear Activity + Engagement Insights
Outreach gives granular visibility into what works and what doesn’t:
Open, reply, and click tracking built-in.
Sequence performance metrics drive continuous optimization.
Sales managers can spot who's actually working

What do you dislike about the product?
teep Learning Curve
Outreach is not plug-and-play. It’s powerful, but the UI and setup can feel bloated:
Admin configuration is dense—expect a real onboarding process.
New reps (especially those without prior outbound experience) get overwhelmed quickly.
Mistakes in sequence logic or task timing can lead to reps ghosting leads or double-emailing.
🔍 TL;DR: It’s not intuitive out of the box—you need buy-in and training.
💰 Expensive and Contract-Heavy
Pricing is high, and you often get locked into long-term contracts:
Per-seat cost adds up fast, especially when factoring in data enrichment or additional modules.
No monthly billing—most plans are annual minimum.
Some features (like advanced reporting or Kaia AI) may be paywalled behind higher tiers.
🔍 TL;DR: Powerful, but not budget-friendly—especially for lean or early-stage teams.
🔗 Too Rigid With CRMs
If you don’t use Salesforce, expect limitations:
Outreach is deeply optimized for Salesforce—anything else (like HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Close) feels duct-taped.
Custom CRM fields or objects don’t always sync smoothly.
You may need a dedicated ops person to keep CRM <> Outreach aligned as you scale.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
dialing and tracking reps
Easy to use but ineffective for emailing
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use and send a mass number of emails at once. I use it everyday, particularly on calls, and don't tend to have problems with usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email throttles can be annoying, and feels like company inboxes and security and becoming smarter faster than Outreach can keep up. Emails don't seem to be getting opened, read, or responded to, despite "100%" open-rates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- High quantity of emails sent within a short period of time
- Easy upload of contacts from Salesforce

Beautiful Sequences after Hard Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
I loved using Outreach while making sales calls, generating pipeline and doing research. It was super easy to organize my day and my tasks and see what I had left to do each day/week. I loved being able to make and share templates with my team as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some hiccups with the sequences. It took a lot of time to iron out our processes. We were early adaptors of the program at our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helped me juggle multiple accounts and prospects and what step they were in the sales sequence they were. It would alert me if I had a manual task to do, or help me automate tasks that could be set to occur in the future.
Solid sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, single place to keep track on all your outbound efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
By and large it encourages a task-based approach rather than an account-based approach - which often leaves reps with a big backlog and a lack of a clear overview on where they're at with certain accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unifying both our outbound and inbound sales engagement strategies
A must have tool for every salesperson
What do you like best about the product?
It perfectly organises the entire sales journey. As a salesperson, I use it the most. It's very easy to use, and the support team is very professional as well. It has a plethora of features, that help me reach to prospects easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The phone calls get dropped sometimes, resulting in a poor experience with the prospect. The software syncs with the in-house Freshsales CRM tool is slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a comprehensive list of features that organises the prospect, companies, sales sequences and reachouts all under one roof. This is beneficial for me to start my day on a good note. I know its a one stop solution for all my needs as a salesperson
A sales person's best buddy and a manager's source of truth
What do you like best about the product?
For someone like me whose focus is pipe generation through emails and calls, Outreach is my best buddy. Acts like a teacher - guides me on what's working and what's not, the stats/ analytics are crystal clear, monitors my performance of touch-points, captures data well and also highlights the pending tasks.
I use it daily along with our CRM, Salesforce, and they work like magic together. I have never raised a single ticket with them in my 3 years of usage of the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach essentially helps in getting touch with prospects, run multiple campaigns and track them, record conversations to analyze further.
With Outreach, your team can design smarter workflows that help every rep sell like your top rep
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is an incredibly effective tool that has significantly boosted my team’s productivity in sales outreach. The ability to schedule emails in advance and place prospects into automated sequences streamlines long-term engagement without constant oversight. It also helps me stay organized by tracking follow-up tasks like calls. One of the most valuable features is its email tracking, which shows opens and clicks—making it easier to identify engaged prospects. While Outreach also offers additional analytics, we haven’t fully explored those yet, but they show promise for deeper insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
there are a few features I find lacking. For example, if I want to personalize emails for just a handful of contacts within a sequence, I have to either set a reminder to manually tweak the email right before it sends—defeating the purpose of automation—or create an entirely separate sequence for one or two people, which clutters my workflow. More affordable tools like Yesware offer one-off automated sequences with built-in logic to halt follow-ups after a reply, which feels like a basic yet missing functionality in Outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Outreach is a powerful tool for scaling sales productivity, but it falls short when it comes to automating one-off follow-ups. While you can schedule a single email for a later time, there's no built-in way to automate an ongoing follow-up sequence for individual prospects—meaning you have to manually remember to follow up, which limits the true value of automation for sales professionals.
