Highly customizable, takes a little time to fully optimize.
What do you like best about the product?
Platform is extremely powerful and the team is great about shipping new features and listening to customers. Definitely ROI positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
What used to be a best practice (great follow-up from sales reps) is being democratized to all, which eliminates competitive edge. Like all platforms, few that abuse the platform with 10 email sequences, hurt the ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistent touchpoints on the key contacts/acounts my sales org is targeting without it being necessary to use a Marketing Automation platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you listen carefully when your CS contact walks you through SFDC field mapping. I had some questions afterwards and it took a couple of at bats to get right!
Gamechanging sales efficiency and engagement software

The email open and engagement functionality can be buggy and can give some false positives.

Better sales rep productivity and activity tracking.
Fantastic product. Pioneer vision.
What do you like best about the product?
So many features that it is hard to begin with. When we adopted Outreach, it was the only product in the market with such features, and that made it clearly stand out from the competition. A few years later there are some other players that can compete.
The ability to automate personal e-mails at scale and the platform intelligence to auto detect OOTO messages and manage the sequences is incredibly time-saving.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Outreach has been incredible since day 1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach was a true game-changer for our outbound sales process. We improved various sales activity productivity metrics in multiple magnitudes.
Great for email, solid for workflow, bad for calls
What do you like best about the product?
If you team is email heavy and works in an industry that has heavy email adoption OR.IO can be a very helpful tool. However, if you don't have a high % of emails in your data base it can have sync issues with CRMs like salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Consistent sync issues, difficult to admin
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing average daily activity from a BDR.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask hard questions about sync
Great product for the sales team
What do you like best about the product?
It helps our SDRs and AEs send out more emails and personalize them quicker than they normally would.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they have a lot of complex great features, it can become a bit tedious to administer it, especially as you get more custom w/ triggers, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better tracking and metrics of our emails and decreasing the time our reps spend on following up on emails.

SQL Server 2012 Users
What do you like best about the product?
SQL Server 2014 more powerful in terms of storage and performance oriented. Capable of running in parallel processing (Parallel threadings). As well lot of user-defined functions which is overriding the legacy queries. Compared to 2008 it is capable of good in terms of holding the RAM size. prior 2008 had 64GB, however, it is holding 640GB.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Not good for Enterprise Datawarehouse since the size of DB is very small. Comparing with Big Data, Teradata it is having only maximum holding size of 10TB. Not good for retrieving data back in smaller minutes. So performance is good only for smaller applications since it is holding a very smaller amount of data only.
2. Cost is high for less TB in size, basically licensing cost is more. However handling size is also less. Only good with .Net applications and not with EDW applications for storages.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Migrating to new DB based on reviews seen and able to see licensing cost also.
