Outreach is Messaging Automation, and it doesn't get any better!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is working with the Outreach team. They are responsive, dedicated, and passionate.
This makes for a truly remarkable product which continually iterates to resolve customer issues, and to improve their customer experience.
From a product standpoint their platform is very flexible and configurable - I have personally implemented it on four separate instances, and in each instance utilized a different set of supporting GoToMarket systems.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike I have reflects the sales automation space - and that is it does not continue the engagement journey post opportunity close.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach allows my SDR team to intelligently engage 6x-10x the number of contacts they were previously able to work through a sales process. Streamlining the messaging, and follow up activity within the Outreach sequences has drastically increased team productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your entire customer journey (segment according to product, tier, etc) before deploying Outreach. It is a very powerful solution and you want to be sure you roll out the implementation of your customer engagement funnel correctly the first time.
Second, start small. There is no need to immediately push every lead you own into Outreach. Start with a low risk list (maybe a conference), then incorporate MQL's, and then slowly migrate the entirety of your lead pool.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a really useful tool for setting up email cadences for mass outreach to prospects. I really like that it allows you to set multi-step sequences that include different types of outreach including email and phone calls. Once you get a hang of creating templates and putting those into sequences, the whole process is pretty easy.
The custom fields are really great for making campaigns seem as personalized as possible and help me avoid sending generic emails.
The feed on the right hand side of the main screen is really useful-- it gives you live information about the ways that people are interacting with the communications and campaigns that you send.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting isn't as granular as I would like. I don't know of a way to segment reporting by campaign, so if you are sending out multiple campaigns from different admins under the same main account those stats can get mixed together.
I also wish it were a little simpler to manage prospects. The tagging feature is key here for me so I can make sure that I am putting the right prospects on the right email sequences.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach allows me to send personalized campaigns to a large volume of prospects in a simple way. The sequences feature automates the sending of follow ups which is a huge time saver and helps me make sure prospects aren't slipping through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a very robust platform that allows you set up extensive sequences for contacting prospects. It works very well with Salesforce and the customer success team is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they need to continually improve reporting features. Make reporting more robust and easier to integrate with existing salesforce reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales acceleration and automation. Touching more prospects effectively. Getting out of the tasks object in salesforce.

Leverage the customer success team to implement! Train your team well and help them build sequences.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Sequences and automation of emails, as well as the ability to post multiple emails and mark which ones you have tried and bounced as invalid. Ability to pull leads in from LinkedIn is amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Salesforce has some issues, search function feels like it is still in beta requires some knowledge of programming to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting prospects through a full sequence because often it takes 8-12 touches before hearing back
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to develop a strategy for emails and sequences. I highly recommend having a committee responsible for developing best sequences and welcoming mass input, but streamline the communication, otherwise a lot of people can add a lot of data and it turns into the wild west. Other than that, get prepared to handle more responses!
I love Outreach
What do you like best about the product?
It doesn't bombard me with desktop notifications and it syncs with my Salesforce account. Templates are simple to create and pick up on customized fields well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that notifications are inconsistent.

The templates are the biggest benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use after the new update. The support team is amazing you literally can barely finish your mail before they are responding.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few errors with bulk uploads and sfdc integration but that comes with territory nothing that couldn't be worked out by the awesome support team.

Sales pipeline, efficiency, drip campaigns.
Great overall tool- nice analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics portion is extremely helpful for tracking which emails and campaigns are working and gives great insight as a manager.Custom tokens are pretty good and when we set up Outreach I thought the support was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seemed to be a few outages which can be disruptive to the business. There was only an initial training and would have liked a more customer success approach for being a customer with routine insights and help with training the team

If you can justify the cost I think Outreach is one of the better email tools on the market.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is extremely effective in sending out mass emails which enables me to hit my quota easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
One problem is that some of the same people can be hit multiple times in a sequence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am hitting mass numbers of prospects and setting up more meetings than ever before. The benefit is that I couldn't do that alone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It will change the entire sales game. It allows me to mass farm prospects instead of sending out emails one by one. It is also very useful for following up with clients automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
email tracking banner notifications and the 360 view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of then opens aren't totally accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to outreach more effectively having my entire inbox in one place while having pretty accurate tracking. Without it, there would be times I wouldn't have reached out to someone when I should have.
New to the program and loving it so far!
What do you like best about the product?
The program is user friendly and has tools to make logging calls and sending emails easier. It keeps prospects nice and organized and sets up events easily.

There are too many steps to pause or move an action.

Business Development. It provides an outlet to connect with prospects through inbound and outbound calling. Keeps our systems in order for continuous production.

Be patient. IT has great tools.
