What do you like best about the product?
Reaching out to prospects in context driven cadences means that you are SO much more efficient. They also release software SO FAST! I'm highly impressed by this
What do you dislike about the product?
always more to add, and sometimes it can be a bit tricky with syncs to salesforce. Overall though - AWESOME!!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure that our outbound sales reps can reach out to as many people as possible, without losing context, and do so in a personalized manner.

Stellar prospecting tool

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is incredibly powerful and very customizable. The analytics are top notch. I also like how easy it is to create templates and sequences.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is evolving quickly, as is the company. They need to do more to support enterprise deployments. We moved from 10 to 130 users and there are some growing pains. Example: you have to individual send out account claim links as opposed to highlight a group and sending to all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a repeatable, outbound email program that can drive new meetings and revenue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be prepared for a deeper implementation process than expected. The tool has so many features it can be hard to sort through but the payoff is huge.

Really Good Experience With Outreach

  • May 09, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that everything is automated and integrated with my email. Previously I would have used Excel but it would take too much time to jump between systems. With Outreach, everything is in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better integration with LinkedIn and smoother user experience which I believe they're working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting and managing a stay in touch list.

Good product - competitive to Yesware

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to store and share templates, sequences and contacts is extremely useful. My favorite feature is all the data and analytics provided. We heavily utilize: Open Rate, bounced, replies, and especially contacts that are due. It's extremely helpful to also see how many times a contact has engaged with an email because then we can try to determine their level of interest to continue pursuing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a manual product. It definitely helps us automate a lot of our work, but you need to be thorough when setting up cadences. Things like spaces or extra commas could disrupt the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool does help us automate a lot of our job. We're able to constantly have cadences running while setting up new ones to meet the needs for email selling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize their customer success/account managers if you need help or want best practices. They are very quick to jump on a call and help you.

Great tool for prospecting

  • March 21, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, clean and simple interface, great for sequencing, setting up call cadences, letting business development manage their process and experiment.
Their support is very responsive
They're great at communicating new features and enhancements
They're innovating and improving at a pretty fast pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering is complicated and limited, the references for filter names aren't useful/relevant sometimes.
Salesforce integration can be a little more robust. There's no good way to handle record merges, deletions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting and following up on incoming leads

So far the best!

  • March 15, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been in SaaS Sales and tried a number of outreach and sales intelligence tools, Outreach is our last and current choice. I like accuracy and that you get pretty much everything at one place and in more organised way: lead generation, email outreach, daily tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a bit higher than with other emailing tools, but it is more accurate and the service is much broader than the email automation, you can use their plugin for lead gen from social platforms etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The data (bounces, opens, replies) are tracked accurately.
You can send emails according to certain schedule in that time zone, for example, sending emails from 8.47-10.12 am pst, while you are based in Europe etc.
You can create sequences with many steps, and get reminders (dashboard of your daily task) to call, reach out, follow up with your prospects, all activities synchronized with CRM: you don't need to log replies, calls or current status of your prospect etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely useful for B2B outbound

Time Saver!

  • February 28, 2017

What do you like best about the product?
Creating sequences has saved a ton of time for different campaigns for my inbound leads. I have recommended Outreach to a few different individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that people can opt out but I understand why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving a ton of follow up time with Outreach. From out bounding to inbound leads, I am able to stay in touch without having a manual process.

Cutting edge BDR / SDR platform

  • February 09, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. There are tools that do e-mail pretty well, but few deliver a nearly seamless Integration of call and e-mail.
2. It allows for comparison of sequences that consist of calls and e-mails. This is far better than a simple overview of e-mail open/reply rates.
3. Semi-manual and automatic sending of e-mail
4. Excellent customer service
5. Active development on the tool / frequency of new releases
6. Excellent chrome extension that plugs into Gmail and SalesForce
7. Management of user responsibilities
8. Nice, clean interface
9. Easy to use reporting
10. Clear overview of a reps task list for the day
What do you dislike about the product?
No social media (Twitter/LinkedIn) support. A generic task can be made to do something social, but it doesn't support sending anything from Outreach.
Conversations can't be categorized, so they can't be easily reviewed with reps
Admins can't move ownership of a template to themselves.
Fewer focus on partners compared to SalesLoft
If you install the chrome extension, it logs all e-mails in Outreach, including personal / internal ones. Messing up reporting and sparking privacy concerns.
Sometimes the solution feels a bit buggy, not ready for large scale deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved understanding of what's working and what not for our BDRs
Better reporting
Increased productivity vs SalesForce (slow!)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a look at SalesLoft and Hubspot.
SalesLoft is a direct competitor.
Hubspot has some basic functionalities, similar to Outreach. Only makes sense if you have Hubspot already, or want a really simple installation.

Incredible insights

  • January 30, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach allows sales folks to automate day-to-day processes that are generally cumbersome and time consuming, while all at the same time, allows for massive outbound scale that is physically impossible with out the tool. From a management perspective, insight into reporting on things like delivery %, open rate, and response rate are all readily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much. I have used tools like ToutApp and Yesware and quite simply, they do not compare to the power and reporting that Outreach provides. The learning curve may be a little step as it is a full-blown platform, however, basic implementation training is plenty to get folks started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scale, scale, and scale. We are an outbound sales organization so it is imperative that we are able to reach as many people as we can with messaging that is to the point and relevant. Outreach enables the outbound team to do this.
