What do you like best about the product?
Good for sending emails. Automation features can be helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much unhelpful info featured in task and prospect views. Not easy to find past interactions and notes amongst the noise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can send more emails faster.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up your integration with your CRM perfectly before you start using it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the seamless integration with Salesforce, it allows for a very quick transfer of data to and from. The overview page is very helpful when reaching out to prospects as it pulls linkedin data, shows time zones and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if there was a follow up task was an option - When I complete a single task (call a prospect) then if I was prompted with a tab to see if I would like to set up a separate follow up task would be helpful.

On the prospect screen there is too much data logged from Salesforce -
"Salesforce Plugin pushed data m from Outreach_Prospect_ID__c:Outreach_Active_Sequence_Name__c:_Sequence_Step_Due_Date_Time__c: 2016-11-14T14:44:39.000+00:00, Outreach_Status__c:"

If this type of data could be hidden on the screen it would appear much cleaner and there would be nit issues looking for notes on the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can focus more of my time on prospects, using outreach has automated a lot of time consuming processes.

It allows for sorting of tasks by phone, email, research. This feature has been particularly helpful while sending multiple emails at once, phone calls etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have an issues, schedule a training session with outreach. If there are any issues the Outreach team is quick to reach out and customize their platform to suit your needs.

A little hard to use in the start. Took a while to get a grasp on it.

What do you like best about the product?
My skills with Outreach are limited but I love being able to see when someone opens up an email I sent. Sequencing allows for relatively hands-off follow ups so I can utilize my time prospecting, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number one issue I find with Outreach is I just don't know enough about it. I was never formally trained so really do not know the full extent of functionality. An intro demo would be nice so users can walk themselves through the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frees up my time by sending automated emails. Also allows me to recognize when a prospect opens my messages. As soon as I see a pop up I call them bc I know they're available at that moment.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach helps sales team be more productive at handling volume of leads with ease. When you want to touch a lot of prospects at scale per rep, you need a tool that can do it like clock work. Outreach helps you do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit complicated. If you are familiar with using other email marketing tools with custom work flows and campaigns, then some of the functionality would come easier to utilize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to reach cold prospects at scale. We want to increase the quantity and quality of leads generated. We also want to automate some of the personalization and customization of messages to make the emails more relevant to the recipients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a systemize way to create templates. If you don't follow a good naming convention and there are a lot of different users sharing templates, it's going to get really ugly really fast.

I like that it prioritizes my daily tasks and outlines the contacts that I should reach out and speak with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it shows that an email was opened by the prospect even though I was the one opening the send message to make sure it was sent properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy the structure that the platform provides and the sequences that I can place my contacts in, in order to keep them informed.

Outreach For Renewals

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean and simple. The learning curve was made easy largely due to the ease of the interface and organization. It is easy to setup a sequence and then see a quick overview of the performance of the email sequence. Being able do A/B testing of emails with a sequence and have Outreach randomly select the email to send is excellent. It require little effort to be able to see what subject lines are performing better as well as what content is performing better. There are several aspects that you can update for prospects on a batch level which is nice as well. A lot to like with Outreach honestly.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far the only thing that I have found that I dislike was the issues I had getting multiple email aliases synced up with Outreach. There were some strange settings that I had to work with support on resolving and it took quite a bit of effort and they struggled to identify the problem for a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it in several aspects, my specific area that I am using it is for customers that are up for renewal of their subscription. We start with a fully personalized email and then use a sequence for easier follow up.

Outreach - So great but could use a few fixes

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach makes it very easy to have a set follow up exactly to how you want your follow ups sent. For the most part, once you get the hang of it then it's pretty user friendly and easy to toggle between different sequences for a/b testing. etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting acclimated to the system was quite painful. There should definitely be some sort of tutorial that includes all the best practice. I made several errors and took the slowest path of completing something. eventually i'd come across something that made the process much faster. Also, the lag time of refreshing and showing the next action was extremely slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the business problem we are trying to solve is to reach more prospective companies in an efficient manner. some of the benefits are that we have more time to focus on more lead generation instead of sending out emails. if i send out a 100 emails today ill have to follow up in x amount of days to send a follow up email. Outreach removes that priority so I can focus on other things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
the convenience of the product once you've learned how to use the product is great. it allows you to focus on the more important aspects of your business than just sending out emails.
