Our team relies on outreach for outbound emails and we use it every day!

What do you like best about the product?
Our team relies on outreach for outbound emails and we use it every day. I like how we can track how many times a prospect opens our emails and can see the data to decide which emails, sequences, subject lines, etc. are the top performing. It automates the monotonous parts of emailing and allows us to be organized and strategic in our email campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish you were able to do is customize/edit the emails in a sequence per prospect, and you didn't have to wait until the first one is sent to see the next scheduled one. I also wish you were able to choose which template a prospect gets if you have 2 options instead of it being random.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows one to set triggers for calling based on email openings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dislike that it sometimes won't sync with my CRM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using in a previous role and it allowed me to scale my email outreach and A/B test my messages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good product for scaling outbound email outreach.

filter out the fluff

  • December 08, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that outreach filters through duplicates and keeps record of all my open rates, response rates, etc. Being able to have a comprised location of emails that I send is very helpful. I use outreach every day for my business development needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are errors with synching a mailbox and I find that emails fail and I did not receive notification. Some actions are time consuming when sending out emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving more personalized outreach to business partners. Outreach has been beneficial in reporting my success.

Outreach has increased our appointments tenfold

  • December 08, 2016

What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to throw a few templates together and get a workflow up and running within minutes. However, as you get used to the software the power of Outreach really shows its true colors, and we couldn't be happier. Support is very quick to help with any questions or concerns as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could create slightly more specific workflows. As of now you can A/B test emails, but it would be nice to create flows where if prospect gets email B in step 1 that they would then get a specific email in step2, currently it will just randomize the email in step 2.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting multiple email touches on a large amount of prospects per representative (about 140 per night). Were having trouble maximizing the value of the leads that we purchase as they only got 1 email before.

Incredibly Intelligent Tool, Incredibly Helpful Team

What do you like best about the product?
Shelbi went above and beyond her duties to help onboard and train our team. She spent multiple *hours* with us, and I know her help went a long way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not likely to use the system much anymore, due to some changes within my role, but if I did continue using Outreach, I do not like how it manages to pry into emails from contacts *not* purposefully logged in (i.e. if I emailed a contact in January of 2017, it might pull in correspondence from that same contact from April of 2014 -- whereas I only want the most recent communication logged, if at all). There are occasionally personal messages to various clients, of sensitive nature, and it's not something I'm keen to have the rest of the team see. That said, I am not a sales person primarily - so if someone is using this for sales-only work, and they keep a tight ship with a sales-only team, I would see no issue with that. But for me personally, I found this breach hard to overcome. I know a few others felt similarly...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a quick and easy way to auto-followup, and a bonus was syncing with Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a try and I'd be surprised if their team, at the very least, did not impress and help you thoroughly en route to seeing if it's right for you.

Outreach allows us to analyze, catalog, streamline, and organize our outbound efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For ease of use the SFDC integration is critical.

Extensible tech for b2b ops admins/devs; UX is liked by end users

  • December 08, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Imo, Outreach.io's technology is the best in the space. The integration with mail servers/proxies and SFDC is robust and solved for all of the data quality requirements defined in my solution reqs. Support is also very responsive.

For end users, the UX is as friendly as it otherwise could be with respect to outreach automation. Plus, there are many levers to pull as an administrator to reduce the overall misusage risks.

I expect big things to come from Outreach.io as they continue to grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I still think they lead on these two points, there's a lot of room for improvement:
-They need to expand their technical documentation.
-They need to support more sophisticated authentication protocols.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
B2B Sales process automation and efficiency optimization. Correspondence data quality/integrity maximization.

Great tool

What do you like best about the product?
Although I do get some leads from our Lead Qualification team, I do end up working the full sales cycle. Outreach is great for sequencing leads so that I can focus on other tasks to close business.
What do you dislike about the product?
If an email is auto-replied to, the sequence stops.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This saves a lot of time for me so I can focus on important things.

Outreach makes emailing customers SO MUCH EASIER

  • December 07, 2016
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
-Ability to create and share email templates across the team. Especially with the fields that populate with customer's information
-Ability to integrate with SFDC. This makes scheduling sequences to specific contacts so easy. I set up a sequence, log into SFDC and go to the specific contact's page, and schedule the sequence.
-Insight on who opens your emails
What do you dislike about the product?
-Outreach in Gmail is a little funky, it just doesn't work as seamlessly as I would like, but as long as you turn Outreach on it's fine
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-outreach to customers with actions and follow ups. I love setting up sequences that take care of next steps or remind me to do them
-It is much easier to email customer's recap emails after calls with the use of templates in gmail, especially when you are sending the same hyperlinks to other docs
-When I see that a customer read my email but did not respond, I know to pick up the phone and call them
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend time to really understand how to leverage the product. I have heard complaints about Outreach, and it's always from people that haven't spent any time learning how to use it. I have invested time and find it pretty easy to use and very helpful.
