Great solution to have as a salesperson!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the calendar invite function, ability to coordinate calendars, putting prospects into sequences, templates you can create for commonly sent emails for follow up
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI takes a little bit of getting used to, but that can be true of any tool as powerful as Outreach. I'd still highly recommend it due to all the functionality. Support can be a bit lacking
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating calendars for prospects to find time to jump on a call, sequences to automatically stay on top of prospects, templates to save time when writing emails
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it!
Insightful prospecting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of processing tasks and prospects to ensure that reps can produce a large volume of high quality messaging. On top of that you get reporting and insights into how effective that outreach is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any major downsides to the tool. There are a few user interface issues such as editing sequences. You could have a 15 step sequence. Want to move step 12 to step 2 and instead of click and drag, you have to "move up" 10 times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we solve using Outreach are mostly related to scaling their outreach. Without this tool it would be much harder to organise similar tasks into bulk actions and detract from their ability to personalise and add relevance to their messaging.
Great sales enablement tool
What do you like best about the product?
I liked being able to create sequences with multiple touchpoints and types of touchpoints (e.g. email, LinkedIn, phone, etc.). I also liked being able to report on sequence performance against different metrics, such as open, click, and reply rate.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I was able to report on individual sequences, I found it difficult to understand how sequences performed as a whole, and to be able to compare sequences of similar types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sequences provide optimized messaging for our Sales team for specific scenarios. This allows us to be more targeted in our outreach to prospects and customers. It also lets us test different types of messaging so that we can improve over time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outreach is a great tool for enabling your Sales team with optimized sequences to communicate with prospects and customers.
Outreach is the dagger compared to Salesforce's bazooka.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple user interface and the automation tools that get the job done. It makes it easier for reps and managers to get in touch with their prospects. Many other CRMs have automation tools but often the bells and whistles make it less simple rather than more effective. Outreach is more intuitive.
I also like the Home dashboard which provides a handful of standard views for the reps to really understand where they are in their week and pipeline.
I also like the Home dashboard which provides a handful of standard views for the reps to really understand where they are in their week and pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
The export functions are not uniform, so exporting mailings will include different prospect/account data than an export of dials or tasks. This means a little vlookup work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach is used by our reps to organize their pipelines and to automate most of their prospecting for new customers. It's also easy to organize future touches with ad hoc tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really make the most of the Outreach provided guidance and resources. Knowing the ins and the outs of this CRM doesn't take long and knowing the little tricks will save you a lot of time later.
When it works it is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create email templates, sequences, and snippets is awesome. Bulk composing is great also but it takes good alignment of your Salesforce fields which can be challenging at times (not sure if this is SF or Outreach issue). Automatic logging into Salesforce and being able to see opens is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will randomly kick you out of Outreach and if you don't notice, it sucks when you send a bunch of emails and realized they weren't logged. Also, not sure if our phone vendor or Outreach's fault, but the integrated phone to call and log doesn't really work most of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to bulk compose/email customers is huge. Keeping track of opens and clicks is also great. When it is stable, it really does increase efficiency. On a plus, I've noticed less issues with stability so I assume they are working on it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have tight alignment w/ your internal revenue ops teams to ensure proper setup and regular maintenance
Intuitive tool to send mass emails
What do you like best about the product?
I found Outreach to be overall intuitive and easy to send mass emails in a sales/marketing campaign. I liked that I could check each email itself to make sure everything looked right before sending.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is a limited number of licenses per company and so we continuously need to allocate them throughout the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to send semi-customized emails to a large group of prospects at once. This was a big time-saver!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better than competitiors
I work in sales as and SDR so I use Outreach all day, every day
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is intuitive and that it's easy to connect other systems with Outreach. There are also lots of shortcuts built into Outreach to drive efficiencies
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that my CRM (Salesforce) isn't more connected to Outreach. This may be just a problem with my org, but it takes too many steps to upload prospects into Outreach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of problems solved, I'm able to achieve scale in reaching prospects. I'm also able to easily touch prospects in a variety of ways -- i.e. LinkedIn, email, call, etc. all from one platform.
Outreach for SDR's
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach does a very good job at organizing and coordinating prospecting efforts. There is a very easy to use interface, analytics on various actions, and Outreach continues to improve the platform since I've started using it 2 years ago!
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be some small improvements. I've noticed that there have been small dialogue prompts that disrupt my work flow and require an extra click to close out a popup window, but other than that, the workflow is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have noticed that I have been able to streamline my prospecting activities and free up my time for other responsibilities. There is no more manual tracking and second guessing.
It saved my life as an SDR!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface, how easy it is to leverage, the dashboard with the overview of all the tasks and calls to make! I like how it synchronizes with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would be a bit easier to add mobile numbers into the contact, directly from a sequence vs. having to go into the account / exit the process as it is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been making it easy for me to remember what to do, how to do it, when to do it. I never had to worry about remembering contacts. I loved to create sequences and automate the processes.
