Amazing automation to amplify your outreach efforts
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to automate outreach in a way that maximizes the prospecting efforts you put in as a member of the sales team. I can now take the same effort I've been putting into prospecting and automate ten more steps on top of my one-off outreach I would typically do. What that means is my efforts are being multiplied by ten without adding any more work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality on an individual rep level leaves a lot to be desired. As a sales rep that enjoys reporting and analyzing my impact, I find it hard to take full advantage of this within the Outreach platform. Some common sense items are missing, such as reporting on everyone who opened my email for that day. Meaning I have to manually open each prospect to call them instead of being able to automatically run a report and set a task to call each person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary problem Outreach solves for me is consistency. With automated sequences, I know my calls and emails are going out at a good cadence with consistent follow-up. We have also previously used Outreach to enable automation for fast and consistent follow-up on inbound leads. This one has been tricky to implement consistently and correctly. But when it works, it's a game-changer.

The best parts from a sales/customer facing role is a tie between the automation, the snippets, and the templates. Having quick snippets to drop into emails saves a ton of time, and the templates are great for the same reason. What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some of the reporting features. I feel like there are a lot more data points that could be surfaced and used to help with KPIs and accuracy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving bandwidth and time issues more than anything. Outreach allows us to quickly create and share cadences and drop prospective clients into them at any time. Taking the manual steps out allow our sales teams to have more time for other demands.
Outreach automates my sales workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach automates the amounts of times I would generally need to reach out to prospects and helps me to stay on top of tasks. I have not tried other competitors but it does exactly what we need integrating with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach can sometimes be slow to load for me. I have tried redownloading the plug-in or multiple other browsers. Thankfully it is when launching. After it is launched, it usually performs very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach solves the follow-up for salespeople. It automates the follow-up process that all reps need to have a successful sale. We have a set of tasks that we place for sequences of which is automates giving us tasks to complete. It keeps us on top of the functions and has increased our productivity across the org.

Can reach out to multiple people at once. Easy to test out different messaging styles and see which works best.
Solid tool Marketers as well as sales
What do you like best about the product?
There is so much helpful data within the reporting to see how emails perform. Marketers can use this information to help with their own marketing efforts, like email, paid, organic, content, and more. It helps to create more content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think it would be more helpful if the Outreach integrations with Marketing Automation were a bit more robust, that way we could control for when certain prospects are getting messages from ALL of our organization. But it does work well and can be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach plays a big part in the full customer lifecycle marketing at our organization. It's a good way to keep nurturing leads throughout when they first fill out a form all the way through to customer activation and upsell.
Outreach is a good tool overall but with some scope for improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
The tool gives good overview insights. It is great for keeping a tab on AEs/BDRs wrt their follow up/outreach activities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach does not allow detailed reporting. It has none to very limited slicing and dicing options for creating reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to create a good sync between Marketing and Sales efforts using Outreach. It helps ensure that leads generated through Marketing initiatives are being taken up by Sales to do a proper follow-up.
A Great Solution to Ensure You Consistently Drive Success
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build sequences, snippets, and see what your colleagues are also writing is a big win. Additionally, Outreach makes it easy to have a structured process and approach vs. trying (and failing) manage it all in your inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be overwhelming to see all of your tasks and the scheduling feature can be tough. Additionally, the compose window when writing a new email can be a bit smaller and I wish they had a more full-screen view to make it bigger/easier to write to prospects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Outreach, I manage my entire outbound prospecting strategy. From ensuring I'm getting the right amount of touches, to setting follow-up reminders that don't just live in my calendar, it helps me stay organized. I consistently drive more prospecting and pipe-gen as a result.

The tracking capability. It's great to be able to see when someone opens your email.

It would be great if when we update a contact in SFDC that it also updates in outreach.
