Convenience at scale
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to get set up, with the knowledgeable resource library that specializes in Sales Enablement for historical sales success. The focus and emphasis on historical sales success help to accomplish tasks retroactively that cannot be done elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform seems to only have inbound and outbound sales, but any attribution-based marketing might even be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To follow a particular user through the customer journey flow and determine the customer's lifetime value, it is important to recognize that the integrations within the platform are crucial in assisting with this process.

-The search and filter functionality needs some improvement
-You also can't build your own reports
-It would be great if you got more Account summary info, like contacts in sequence for an account, sequence started, more recent, how many sequences touching contacts on an account, etc. and if you could integratet his to your CRM

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-efficiency for reps, reducing manual and admin tasks

Outreach helps optimize lead follow up and prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely easy to create sequences, add prospects to those sequences (manually or in an automated way), and complete the tasks within those sequences. Using task lists, our reps know exactly what they need to do each day to follow up with their prospects or prospect into accounts. Reps can also connect their Gmail calendars to Outreach, making it easy for them to book meetings with prospects. The integrations with SFDC and LinkedIn are great too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't customize the prospect "page layout" as much as I would like. If I could I'd be able to surface only the information that is most relevant to the rep as they rep is following up with the prospect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring no lead is left behind; Optimizing how our reps spend their days; Providing a better prospect experience by ensuring inquiries are responded to quickly and effectively; Decreasing the time from lead generation to opp creation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your team is committed to and has an actual plan for using a platform like this. AEs are often times less inclined to use these kinds of tools than BDRs and ISRs.
Easy to use powerful tool for a Sale Org looking to bring home the bacon.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is insane! I can live in outreach pretty much all day. The Chrome extension is a clutch when getting your day started. And, if you aren't using the triggers then you are missing out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't anything I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Outreach we are able to save time and effort. We are able to automate 80-90 percent of outreach email activities. The alerts and reminders keep you on track and make sure no opportunity is left on the table.

If you are looking to optimize your sales flow and shorten sales cycles then Outreach is what you are looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a great tool for prospecting. The sequences allow you to easily build out email/call campaigns with prospects, and it also delivers insight regarding what messaging is most effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be confusing at times to understand when an email is scheduled to go out and which individuals are actually opening my emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demand gen - reaching as many prospects as possible in a short period of time.

What do you like best about the product?
The AB testing is super helpful in identifying what messages work for the market. The sequence stats provide insights into how the different actions influence outbound success. The automation you can build is beneficial. The meeting types are good for understanding the CAC of each deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are specific bugs with the search functionality and is not the most intuitive pice of software. You should have a dedicated resource for the solution to be utilized at the ful potential.

Great application for sales and marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to thread emails in sequences is one of the best aspects of this application. It is pretty robust and flexible when utilizing schedules, rulesets, and triggers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations in accessing data through the API (e.g., no cc/bcc function, cannot see external SFDC Ids on prospects). Triggers are also relatively limited in what they can handle. Some of the automation that we'd like to have would require too many triggers to fire for each unique sequence, so it's anywhere from difficult to impossible to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have my tasks scheduled out so that I don't miss reaching out to any of my prospects. I also like that we can see exactly which steps of a sequence prospects are interacting with, and I can go back into my sequences and change messaging for anything that doesn't seem to be working.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I don't like is that my font size isn't adjustable (it's either too big or too small, and it won't mimic my outlook font for some reason)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased engagement with my target audience and setting appointments with new prospects. I have realized that the main benefit is overall efficiency when trying to generate new business (being able to add and automate sequences saves a massive amount of time)

This is a very effective tool to increase revenue due to efficiency in your workflow

They have a very solid SFDC integration and their triggers allow you to do some things that aren't possible in SFDC

There are a few gaps in their triggers feature that they still need to add, for example, moving a prospect from one sequence to another after they open an email

We were trying to see if we could do personalization at scale. Outreach absolutely delivers this.
