A worthwhile investment...

Solid Salesforce integration, Engaging UI, Great API in terms of connecting to other sales and martech tools. The reporting is solid, without being overwhelming.
Great for SDR teams that are scaling.
Great for SDR teams that are scaling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much - it is a great tool. It has always performed for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool that can help our SDR's outbound and get insight into success. This is it!
Super organizer
What do you like best about the product?
The sequences you can build out based on persona target
What do you dislike about the product?
No integrated calendar function for Google or Outlook so your calendar is pushed or easily viewable within Outreach
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can reach out to more folks but don't sacrifice personalization in the process, avoid being seen as a email not or blasting folks with emails and feels authentic/personalized
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Control the sequences you make, don't let others create sequences for you.
Outreach helps organizations scale revenue / helps admins govern process
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Outreach for five years now, first as an SDR, creating many sequences and triggers in 2016 to manage my territory's prospecting. I started as an SDR at Xant and got promoted to be an AE (formerly InsideSales.com). I felt I found in my early career there selling Sales Engagement to sales teams that there was a certain magic to how Sales Engagement software accelerated the sales process.
When I found Outreach next as an SDR, that was fully realized. I soon became an admin and found that the ability I had to completely customize the strategy of a large BDR team was much easier. This admin-level customization is a very big part of why it's such a useful tool.
I also found that the way reps could take advantage of the rich feature base made it easier for them to prospect in certain ways than with other providers like Xant, MixMax, SalesLoft, Groove or some of the other more nuanced dialers/sales technologies that existed at the time. But some of those providers still do certain things better than Outreach/have a different methodology so it's never like you find everything in one place.
All in all, because of being a rep and an admin in the tool, I have found great reasons on both sides of that spectrum to like Outreach
Admin related:
-Outreach's plug-in is very helpful to make sure Salesforce and Outreach are in sync and that tasks are recorded in Outreach with common syntax for reporting
-Triggers are robust with AND and OR statements and can action off of one another (stacked triggers)
-A/B testing
-Sequence throttles
-Org / domain email limits
-Send sequences on behalf of the owner
-Smart views
-Imports
-Can map up to 150 custom fields
-Quick and easy integrations with many tools that are part of the sales technology multi-verse
Rep related:
-360 view to show all tasks
-Import to Outreach from List views (contact list views)
-Snippets and templates
-Sequences are better
-Reporting is helpful
-auto-tasks based on email opens
-Dialer is great and allows you to toggle between a phone bridge and VoIP computer dialing with or without local area codes
-Call recordings with quick links so you can see them even before going to ExecVision / Chorus / Gong

What do you dislike about the product?
-Opportunities linked to Outreach from Salesforce are pretty much unusable in comparison to what you would want it to be.
-Salesforce plug-in still doesn't handle validation rules in Salesforce well and can't live within the Salesforce environment like other managed packages in their competitors
-Outreach is a "copy" of Outreach for whatever has been brought in - this essentially causes you to have contacts in Salesforce tied to Prospects you don't want them to be - and everything is based on email
-Discerning what to do to fix problems in configuration can be very tricky to figure out
-Can't customize the views from the Outreach chrome extension (Outreach Everywhere)
-Much easier for a sales development type user than a sales type user - more features for the sales development side.
-Can't really take notes that push back to Salesforce because it overrides the notes fields not appends them.
There are things with the Salesforce plugin that just limit you from doing certain things that I know other providers do well (like Opportunities syncing, customization of the side bar, etc.) but these things aren't show stoppers. It's just important to recognize these things are realities you might face and you need to find work arounds.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are making it possible to have a company strategy that is scalable and I would say an easy way to describe it is "playing moneyball" with sales. When you discover the fusion of the art of sales combined with the science of operationalizing it, you can see real dividends from best practice messaging and configurations. We see that happen with Outreach day in and day out.
That's not to say that you can't solve these things with other platforms, but I have found it easiest to solve everything I want to in an Outreach environment versus others.

Outreach is a no-brainer to help our SDR team hit their monthly meetings KPI.
What do you like best about the product?
The status icons, reports, and overview ribbon on sequences are just some of the features I like about Outreach. Easy to navigate and find data points when I need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if I call pull aggregate Call stats on multiple sequences. I can't do that now. I have to pull on each Sequence separately. Also, I would love to screen share with online chat support instead of having to send them images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher volume of engagement. More MQLs.
Zack's Outreach Review
What do you like best about the product?
Staying organized, being able to do calls and emails. I like the ability to sequence and create multiple different sequences based on the conversation you want to have
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I hate about Outreach is the fact that you can't do bulk organization. When trying to edit sequences or edit tasks or even edit mailboxes, you have to go through each thing individually instead of multi-select and do them all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of staying organized, without Outreach, we would have countless notes and tasks all over the place.
Great tool with some gaps
What do you like best about the product?
Back in my SDRs years, we had to create manual sequences, send manual emails, and all the tasks, reminders had to be done on salesforce. As a SDR manager, I don't use this tool for prospecting, but my reps do and I love a lot of the functionalities there that make the prospecting effort so much easier and faster. I wish I had something similar years ago. They mainly use salesforce to create opps, but most of the tasks management can be done on outreach which is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a manager, I don't love outreach. The manager views are very confusing and time-consuming. For every single metrics I want to see, I need to type the same filter over and over again. I wish there was an easier way to see all the crucial metrics from each rep on one single page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
reaching out to prospects in bulk, tasks management (emails, calls, reminders), outreach analytics..
Inside Sales Account Executive and previously worked as a Business Development Representative
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach streamlines the day-to-day sales tasks and makes it easier to keep track of all sales activities in one place. Outreach saves me time and helps improve organization so that you never forget to follow up with a prospect or customer. I find the automation extremely beneficial to building pipeline. The insights that Outreach provides make it easy to tell when a prospect is engaging with your emails and the analytics enable you to tweak your sequences/messaging as needed so that you are performing as efficiently as possible. One of the most helpful aspects of Outreach is the integration with SalesForce because it syncs all of the emails/calls that are made using Outreach into your CRM so that you do not have to manually enter this information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many complaints that I have about Outreach. The chrome extension can become somewhat slow when adding prospects to sequences but the benefits still outweigh the times when the platform is running slowly. Outreach will show you if someone else already has a prospect in sequence (which is super helpful), but it would be nice to see if someone else is prospecting into the same account and I do not believe that this is something that Outreach offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and organization are the biggest problems that are being solved with Outreach. I have been able to save so much time by automating manual emails and am able to better keep track of my day-to-day tasks by using the 360 view. Outreach also helps improve engagement and has helped me re-engage opportunities with prospects that have gone cold.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a platform that will help save your reps time and improve their productivity, then Outreach is a perfect fit for your organization. The automation is essential to helping build continuous pipeline and the analytics enable you to improve your messaging so that you are performing as efficiently as possible.
One Stop Shop!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the prime features of Outreach is the "bump" feature--to pull up non-responded emails to the front of your inbox around a pre-determined timeline. The other is sqeuncing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it would stay logged in rather than having to login to often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its clear that what Outreach can help with is not to lose track of potential leads and, therefore, future business.
Great for email cadences
What do you like best about the product?
Creating and managing an email cadence. The flow is simple and is easy for new users to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no way to manage contacts within Outreach. If you want to add new contacts you have to first upload them to SFDC and then add to a cadence in Outreach. Other software lets you upload contacts directly to a cadence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are times where users haven't asked us to email them. Tools like Pardot restrict you from emailing those contacts. Outreach allows us to email them, as well as track all the messages that our company is sending.
Solid Email Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty easy to build and run sequences, upload and segment users, and track sequence performance. The support team is also stellar, we've consistently received quick responses during years of using the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with HubSpot is not particularly robust. It was pretty annoying to keep information in sync between the two systems. Once we got that set up, we haven't really had any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Outreach for outbound email campaigns, primarily for prospecting or feedback.
