Helpful Tool in the market - User Friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very user-friendly tool. Very intuitive. I consider the onboarding process very straightforward. Outreach allows you to set sequences easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time they take to get back to your with a solution to the challenges you are facing could improve. Sometimes we have waited a few days prior to receiving an official response from the Outreach team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound Email Marketing. We started this initiative using this tool
Amazing tool for growth, biz dev, but needs better reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach's integration with tools like Highspot for content sharing and Salesforce for account tracking is invaluable. The system is relatively easy to use with proper training, although, admittedly, users tend to stay in their lane and do what they know how to do as they've been coached. There are a lot of features left alone because improvisation leads down the rabbit hole.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics and reporting capabilities are limited. A big part of biz dev/marketing KPIs is visibility into activity - specifically to other departments or teams that may not have access to Outreach. It would be beneficial to have meaningful reporting/analytics available to export and share internally.
The email signature is very plain. The emails can look a bit too text-like in appearance.
The ability to make minor edits to emails within a sequence that has already begun is very convoluted. I don't know if it's even possible, but it's certainly not obvious if it is. For example, you might want to edit an automated email schedule that contains a variable like {company.name} which would be shortened/abbreviated in everyday language (e.g. writing "FWS" instead of "Franchise Worldwide Systems dba Enterprise Global Integrations"). But, if that sequence is already underway, the only way I know how to do it is at the beginning before it's begun.

I use it to automate sales/marketing touches across my entire territory - nearly 100 accounts, but you could easily do the same for hundreds. The ability to customize sequences based on your audience is a very valuable tool for generating activity and awareness that lead to more deals. It is a game-changer for growth-minded, sales-driven organizations.

I love how consolidated information for each prospect and account is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dialing process is a little slow if you're trying to accomplish a lot of tasks.

Personalized Prospecting is very facilitated.

Outreach is predominately geared toward SDRs however, I love how easy it makes my follow-ups and scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
When Gmail makes updates, outreach can cause significant lag. Makes it more difficult to respond to emails in a timely fashion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time-savings, I no longer need to comb through my inbox for emails that I send. The automatic triggers and templates are huge time savers.

Chat support is now a premium feature and support is slow to respond via email

Bring back the chat feature or make email/phone support more accessible.
Good Product - Support Could be Better
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a tech first sales engagement platform. It has a great look and is user friendly. The tool has allow me to 3x my outputs compare to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the naming is so "modern" it can be counterintuitive. For example - trying to teach someone to clone a sequence sounds a lot more confusing then just saying copy and the tech phobic are really put off

the biggest is our last SEP was not correctly set up and had to be replaced to protect data, have correct activity reports, etc

Utilization of email sequencing and the analytics behind it

Just like any technology, there are glitches, and the reporting can be off

Utilized as a tool for incarcerated women to gain knowledge and expertise in a call center environment
High speed and efficiency for all things prospecting

The ability to automate the entire prospecting process (through sequences) drastically reduces the time it takes to perform email or calling tasks

The customization capabilities could be improved when it comes to iterating off of pre-existing templates. Also some minor UI gaps in navigating to the right settings especially for new users

Not a flexible UI with the overlay on the CRM or gmail

Figure out whether you do all personalization upfront and then sort how you want sequences to be made
Easy to use yet a powerful tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Its integration with other sales & marketing platforms. Then, its Gmail integration is super helpful to execute daily communication tasks, which saves a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it doesn't work well when you install any third-party extensions on your browser & creates a hassle.

It's helping me to efficiently and effectively engage prospects to drive more sales pipeline for my Sales team. And, it really makes my life hunky-dory without going systems to systems, in turn, providing a holistic tool for sales engagement & enhancing my productivity.
