Easy Template and Sequence Management
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the easy Gmail integration for email templates. The chrome extension pops up and allows me to connect the accounts. I can also track each time the email recipient views the email. The data is nice to have. There is also the ability to put recipients in an email sequence which is good if they are non-responsive and automates the follow-up. It integrates with Gong and Totango as well, so I can track all calls and emails in the same place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the extension signs out, so I have to remember to sign back into it. I'm still getting used to the outreach site. It's a little confusing to organize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach helps automate email writing for repetitive emails and streamline communication. It saves time. For a team, it also helps to reduce sharing email templates because it's all in the same place.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is a great way to flesh out procedures and connect with individuals. Extremely beneficial when managing a group and excellent for measuring key performance indicators. Having the ability to dive into every user and prospect and determine their level of interaction with your campaign is incredible. This tool was essential for building a solid pipeline of deals to close.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I detest about Outreach is that I don't receive any training from my employer during onboarding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The program allows me to create lists for specific employees that have certain activities, and once they complete that sequence, I can choose whether they are dropped or added. This ensures that options do not get overlooked and assign specific tasks to enable me to stay in touch with them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to use Outreach effectively, you need to familiarize yourself with the software. It's not hard to use the tool, but there's a lot to do to optimize its performance. You'll need to put your all into it!

What do you like best about the product?
A very solid platform for both sending out sales emails and making sales calls. The ability to import from Salesforce makes adding contacts in bulk easy. Sequences keep everything organized.
Their reports have gotten better lately, allowing you to see success metrics and practices across the entire sales org.

What do you dislike about the product?
Within email sequences, there are some quirks: inability to re-order steps after contacts pass through, the "A/B testing" on emails never really seems to produce useful insights.
Tasks can sometimes get re-assigned to the wrong sales rep, causing confusion.

If you need to contact a prospect and don't want to blindly email or call, this tool is great. Helps track email engagement, records calls, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I love creating sequences that can reach all of my clients at once with auto follow up replies and branches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took some time to figure out how to use it on a daily basis, there is a lot of content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to reach hundreds of clients at a time to upsell our benefits and solutions, and Outreach keeps track of where they stand for me.

What do you like best about the product?
The sequences are easy to customize and keep sales reps on track with day-to-day. Templates and snippets are easy to share cross-functionally, allowing the team to work more strategically (vs. all having their own individual emails).
What do you dislike about the product?
Run into issues with Salesforce syncing once in a while, which is essential for both systems to align.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to work more strategically and ensure prospects are being both reached out to and followed up with quickly. Easy to organize prospect data.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that outreach has kept me organized. Being able to schedule emails to go out days or weeks in advance has helped me save time, and everyone knows that time is money. For a sales rep, being able to schedule your outreach for the next few weeks is essential. It also helps you keep track of how many times a prospect opens and clicks on an email, so it helps with knowing if a prospect is truly interested and how many times they are viewing something prior to responding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach can be a little overwhelming to use in the beginning. We didn't receive a ton of training, so the onboarding process wasn't as smooth as it could have been. It has a lot of features, and if not trained properly, you could go down a rabbit hole trying to learn how to use everything. Only some things are relevant to sales reps, and some things may be more relevant to account managers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to know if a prospect has ghosted me and if they are even reading my emails is essential in sales. Sometimes you can get lost tracking people down or wondering if they have just been busy/unavailble, so the tracking feature within outreach has solved a lot of problems. The benefit of scheduling future replies and emails to go out if they haven't responded as well has been a life saver and helps progress a deal faster by having those automatic systems in place.
Outreach - The Perfect Tool For an SDR
What do you like best about the product?
When it comes to using Outreach, everything from setting up sequences to making outbound calls is seamless. And the fact that it directly integrates with Salesforce is priceless in saving us time and energy, maintaining the health and hygiene of our pipeline. I can't live without this tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that the only thing that I dislike about Outreach is their level of customer service towards smaller companies with fewer seats. Getting us set up with Outreach took TWO weeks because our representative placed us at a lower priority which put us super behind for May. Other than that, we love Outreach!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach is helping us build our sales pipeline and reach our target market with their automated email sequencing and calling feature. Without Outreach, I was spending 2-3 hours a day manually emailing prospects, and now it takes less than three minutes to throw them into a sequence and keep it moving. Just so easy to use!

A very nice complement to Hubspot for visualizing and managing business progress

The team is very collaborative to work with, and is anxious to deliver new and valuable functionality; the product is growing and improving all the time.
It is a great tool for allowing drillable dashboarding and insights that are a chore to deliver through HubSpot custom reports.
I'm excited about the emerging planning functionality.

I'm anxious for the planning functionality to get robust enough to use it as an input to longer term forecasting and planning.

Providing visibility to all of our marketing funnel and business development progress in one place, end to end.
It's helping us better understand conversion rates at each stage of the funnel, from leads to opportunities to deals, and as our team grows, we're excited about the drill down to the contribution of each employee to those results.

Great for mass outreach and automation but could use some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can automate my emails and sequences to stay on track in my sales role. I can manage prospecting and current opportunities, and it allows me to see the success rate of my emails, calls, and other outreach methods.
I also like that it pulls in relevant news/media coverage for each account.
The Salesforce Integration is a big plus.

It is often slow or even worse, experiencing outages.
I also dislike that I can't sort my tasks by sequence.
I've used similar products in the past that have had a better UI for my taste.

I am able to increase my efficiency and automate a lot of workflows that otherwise would have to be manually done.
I am able to track my own success and see how I stack up against my team.
