Outreach is a powerful tool, however, you will need a dedicated resource.
What do you like best about the product?
Sequence - The automation alleviates time which leads to more production hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mic and speaker connection are not the best. For whatever reason, my mic shows that its connected and yet, there are occasions where a prospect will say they can't hear me and ask me to call back. I have no issues with my headset/ mic connection with Zoom, Skype, and Teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching more prospects and existing customers without bombarding them. More efficient conversions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As mentioned earlier, I would strongly consider a dedicated resource. It'll be worthwhile.
Outreach automates a good portion of my Outreach so booking meetings is a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can iterate an outbound sequence and quickly tell whether it's a flop with insufficient engagement and low response rates or if I have something there. I've been using the tool for close to 2 years now so have had to find the perfect cadence that fits my ICP.
My favorite part is forgetting that I had outbounded to a group of prospects and all of a sudden realizing they're asking for more information or have booked an intro call with me.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are little things. Not being able to re-enroll a prospect in the same sequence, especially those that have gone cold. For upgrades, if our Customer Success team has them as an active account, sometimes it doesn't let me enroll them in any sequence. This is all admin permissions that can be worked out though.
I don't like that it sends a green text bubble to iPhone users. If I'm texting prospects, I'll do it from my own cell because that blue iMessage bubble has more clout. Sorry Android users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much more efficient with outbound over just sending emails one by one. Saves hundreds of hours of time.
I also like the engagement metrics in terms of open/response rates. It gives you a good gauge on what's working and what's not. Having your call tasks there every morning to just hammer to only adds to efficiency.

This only works with Salesforce so if you're using another CRM it won't pull through.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the customizability of Outreach. There are so many different combinations of triggers, sequences, templates etc. The UI is really easy to navigate as well. Support chat is a great function that I use FREQUENTLY. I also like how much the company invests in R&D and is always rolling out new features. Great customer service as well (we love Darin Herleikson)
What do you dislike about the product?
I think in general (and maybe this is user error) but it the platform can be a little finicky - I feel like it's relatively easy for things to get messed up - activity not syncing to salesforce correctly, sequences failing. Most of the time our team can fix these issues on our own, but it would be nice if there were less things in general to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're saving a lot of time for our reps. For any sales issues there's usually a workaround in OUtreach that can save time and energy for them.

Ask a lot of questions early on to make sure you're setting your instance up the best way for your Sales Org

1. Few challenges with the status changes in SF.

What do you like best about the product?
Outreach helps keep me organized as a salesperson. Anything I need to do for the day is reflected in Outreach . The tool is incredibly user friendly and support is great. The data and analytics are very helpful and are always improving too. It helps to be able to know what is working and what needs to be tweaked, I am always surprised by the reports, including things you wouldn't think to reference like "best time to email".
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some broken workflows that could be improved. For example, when an email bounces and you realize there was a spelling error on the email address, it is a huge pain to correct and get the email resent. The same goes for duplicate contact entries, there is no good way to combine them. These are small things, but I would like to see more improvement to the workflows as these are a big part of a person's day to day.

Scalability of touches for prospects. Ability to tweak sequences as more data is available.

The standard emails are pretty repetitive and I see a lot coming into me from companies trying to sell me that are almost identical.

Penetrating new markets. Scaling up touchpoints with limited sales people.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to navigate and clean. It integrates easily with our other software and provides clarity for our management team. Outreach makes it easy to reach out to more customers all at once. The idea of a virtual sales rep has allowed our reps to be in front of customers more and less time in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company is still new to Outreach, so the setup and figuring out best practices can be tricky.
The hardest part is figuring out how to best create a sequence that will get our ideal customer to purchase equipment from us. It takes patience to figur out which emails are more intriguing and which ones lead to more booked appointments.

Outreach has opened so many doors for our sales team. They can follow up more frequently with customers, reach out to more new customers and stay organized with their daily tasks. Our reps have loved being able to keep in touch with customers who aren't currently looking to purchase anything. Outreach allows them to maintain that relationship without having to put too much thought into it. Because of this, these customers are coming back and buying more from us.
Outreach has also increased our new business sales. Our team has been able to contact more new customers and set more appointments with the help of Outreach.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can add a contact to a sequence and get reminded in real-time when to move forward with the next touch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been pretty happy with Outreach. Sometimes it's hard to take a contact out of sequence. I might learn new details about an account and need to change my approach. I have to stop their previous sequence and manually add the updated touches. It's not a big deal

I can follow up on huge campaigns without omitting/forgetting outliers.
