What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility in reporting, sequencing and the ability to work multiple channels
What do you dislike about the product?
Has been a bit buggy at times. Also can be inconsistent linking to Salesforce (this is very rare)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Productivity with our sales team’s outreach. We have been much more efficient in terms of output, and have made smarter decisions as we improve messaging and sequence patterns
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don’t do too much all at once. Take time to get comfortable with each feature before testing multiple iterations of things
Great Sales Development Tool - Email Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach uses your own email server to send emails which help to get not flagged as Marketing or even Spam. It also has great integrations with Chrome, Salesforce, and even Drift. Also, their resources are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subject lines within a sequence can't be changed - it's either a new email conversation or "Re:XXX" email. Sometimes the reports seem to be overly complicated and it's hard to get to data I'd like to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email automation at scale for Sales Development purposes. The team can also share templates and we can compare what is working. We also try to convert prospects with a Drift chat bot integration.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy the calling function is on Outreach. I also really enjoy the templates and snippet connections to Outlook because it makes sending emails out a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is only an outbox on Outreach and not an inbox. To me, this just doesn't make sense. I also wish there was a phone app that automatically populated who is calling you on your caller ID so you know who is calling you. I have seen a few other apps do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to easily and quickly contact the number of people I need to and Outreach's templates make that easier.

The most helpful thing about Outreach is that it provides newer sales reps with a pre-defined gameplan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only challenge is that uploading leads to the platform is tedious and you can really mess up your database if you make any errors

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's best if you use SFDC....any other CRM's...it's kind of a pain to manage.

Automated email sequences-- enough said! It takes the worry out of keeping track of emails on your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Throttling is simply awful-- it keeps you behind. Additionally, I need Outreach to provide options for further sequencing after a client takes an action.

The ability to have an automated sequence of emails with a client is absolutely fantastic,.

What do you like best about the product?
Sequences. Adding prospects to various sequences kept me accountable on email and phone correspondence. I'm not sure how I could have kept everything in order without knowing my tasks for the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outreach broke from time to time. Whether it was the website going down or the outreach chrome extension not popping up, it was very disruptive to my day-to-day. My understanding is that they also didn't have phone support (or my company didn't pay extra for it). This always made it a hassle to sort out issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outreach allows all my sales correspondence to be organized. Keeps all of my outbound and inbound leads current and top of mind.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features for Outreach is the automation of tasks. I think this tool is best used for the SMB segment or BDRs since it's good for mass, but tailored outreach
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it had fewer bugs when integrated with Outlook. We went through a long period of time when our reps couldn't just use the auto Sync Feature of Outreach to sync with Salesforce
It was a really slow roll out to reps and we found it hard to do change management. I found that Outreach was not super intuitive at the beginning so we had to do quite a few coachin sessions. Prior to Outreach, I used Yesware and that felt like a more brainless and seemless system.

Outreach is an easy to use platform. It is perfect for task management and prospecting.

I do not like how it is not backward compatible with SFDC. What updates in SFDC automatically updates in Outreach but what is update in Outreach does not always update in SFDC

I am all over the place every day. Between taking multiple calls and sending hundreds of emails

Great product. Easy to learn. Love the task feature and the sequence feature
A few rough patches in onboarding, but a robust tool
What do you like best about the product?
Great tools for a BDR or SDR. Really robust emailing and sequencing options as well as a great dialer.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a rough time getting it all synced up and working. We also ran into a lot of issues getting alias's and multiple mailboxes to sync and work inside the system.

We were trying to get a better tool to run outbound campaigns on. Definitely great at that as well as task management.

Great tool, just be ready to work out a few integrations.
