A modern platform and top-notch support

What do you like best about the product?
Braze has been an amazing partner for our organization as we have worked to mature our product retention strategies and efforts. They are proactive in offering solutions and in helping us to solve problems, when they do arise. They have provided us with a very personal experience which was quite a contrast from processes that felt very bureaucratic with Responsys in the past.

They continue to evolve and improve the range of marketing solutions that they offer in a way that complements our needs. Their approach to dynamic content has worked well for our business needs and has scaled well as we've implemented 1-to-1 personalization, and their tools for building and previewing messages and audiences is intuitive and easy for a small marketing team to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving data into and out of Braze has been a challenge over time., though their Currents product has helped that quite a bit in terms of pulling event data out of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved to Braze, primarily, for our email marketing efforts. Using their platform we have been able to increase our agility with building targeted messages and with building out a system for personalization of content for each recipient.

We are now looking to expand our use of Braze suite of tools and services to begin introducing similar benefits within our mobile push and in-app retention efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
Has a powerful and native integration with the segment.
Seamlessly identify events and milestones to interact with clients through email or in-app messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that I dislike but I see as an opportunity. More flexibility to scale to big organizations (e.g. product codes and families).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data without use has no purpose. Braze is helping us create bridges with our users and is allowing us to connect and engage in a powerful way through in-app and e-mail messages that allow us to improve our user experience.

- Having in-app and email messages coming after defined and specific milestones allow us to humanize our applications, supports trust and adoption.
- Better campaign management processes and user impact.

What do you like best about the product?
There is no limit to what Braze can do. When building campaigns I am always able to think outside the box and develop a powerful strategy thanks to their segmenting and filtering capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve. There is so much to do and understand about Braze that it takes a little bit to get warmed up to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows us to maximize our targeting. We can discover the best way to communicate to our users throughout the entire lifecycle.

Powerful and User Friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with the rest of our Growth tool stack. Easy to use UI. Excellent support. Braze has a strong mission and is putting out features to back that up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function can be finicky at times, but overall does not impede work. Braze is, however, lacking some of our advanced audience segmentation needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Segment instrumented data flowing into Braze to nurture users through in-app and email campaigns. We've been able to drive digital user engagement, paid conversion, adoption, and retention through these campaigns. We also have Braze events flowing into Amplitude to analyze campaign success.

What do you like best about the product?
Having worked with many campaign management tools, Braze is by far the superior in terms of useability. The user interface is built with the end user in mind meaning that users of any background are capable of building and managing campaigns.
I have used Braze for over 4 years, and quite a lot of work goes into product development based on real life use cases which results in always new and improving ways to engage with our audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t particularly dislike anything about Braze. If anything I would suggest there could be some improvements around the email editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze has allowed us to grow engagement and usage through a high volume of campaigns with little resourcing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have used other similar tools- you will love the usability of Braze

Powerful platform with great capabilities!

What do you like best about the product?
Braze platform offers a lot in terms of capabilities for marketers who are looking to grow their push and in-app notifications channel. You can start from building simple push campaigns and go to much more complicated journeys where each step is based on a particular action or activity that a user takes. The interface is pretty intuitive and there are a lot of in depth training documents and materials which help a lot when you are just learning the platform.
Braze also offers the very best in customer service. Our success manager is amazing! She has been very patient and responsive, helping us out from the very start when we were new to the platform.
It's not often when a company is able to offer such a powerful platform/service and a great team of people who are ready and available to help with any challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is a bit limited, would be great to have more in-depth reporting there, especially an ability to export reporting by device/platform for users in the campaigns.
Starting with the canvas feature can be a little tricky at first and it's definitely a learning process to build a more complicated canvas journey/campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to use Braze to re-engage our app users via push messaging and in-app communication.
Finally we have can work on creating an onboarding push notifications series to promote our subscription service and app.This is a great platform for us to generate better engagement and promote our brand while improving the retention rate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great platform if you are looking to improve your mobile marketing channel!

Most user-friendly ESP

What do you like best about the product?
Braze has a very user-friendly interface, and makes templating, segmenting and campaign setup much easier to navigate than any other ESP I've used (and I've used almost all of them). The conversion tracking is also superior to any other marketing automation platform - it's configured for an e-commerce use case. The Braze onboarding process is very thorough and the team has been available to answer any/all questions we've had in the early implementation/integration phase. The resources available for onboarding, implementation and best practice references are great & easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are currently using Braze as an email platform, but the product is primarily built for a mobile push/in-app messaging use case - that being said, there is some functionality on the email product that could be enhanced. There are also some nuances in the data structure that are important to catch when implementing, but if you understand those nuances you can customize the product to fit your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Braze to trigger lifecycle and ad hoc campaigns to our 2-sided marketplace audience. So far the product has worked well for us and we're starting to see conversion + revenue growth.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is an extremely robust tool with a short learning curve. Building out new lifecycle strategies and campaigns was extremely simple. While there are a lot of functionalities, no CRM/ESP service will ever have every feature that all of their competitors have. Braze does a great job to meet the needs of their clients onto the roadmap.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze's reporting function is still a work in progress. It's getting better but reporting still requires a bit of work. The visual reports are not very helpful, which makes it difficult to track where users are dropping off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Braze to speak to all of our audiences across the company. The CRM team is able to build out messaging and inapp experiences without ongoing support from our internal engineering teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider the CRM needs of your organization. Braze is a great tool that might cost more upfront but in the long run save you money and time.

What do you like best about the product?
I've worked with ESPs in the past where it's impossible to reach a rep, or the reps aren't particularly helpful. Everyone I've worked with at Braze has been easily reachable and always ready to answer a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few UI improvements I'd like to see. Searching for a campaign is difficult, and it's not possible to delete a campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze has helped us better segment our users, as well as add in personalized messaging. Lastly, it's been a huge help to have so many integrations in Braze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a TON of stuff you can do once you get into Braze. Be sure to watch the introductory videos to learn your way around and figure out how to fully take advantage.

What do you like best about the product?
As a product, Braze is extremely intuitive — it's easy to figure out how to do what you need to do (and even if you can't find it, all of their learning resources are very well done). The platform is very robust, so it's easy to execute campaigns efficiently and as imagined. We used to send all of our marketing comms from an in-house tool, so upgrading to Braze has been a dream. But the best part is the customer support — the team answers every question we throw at them, and have supported us through some trickier campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly — there's nothing I can think of. Anything we've brought forward to the product team has already been in their pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to reach out to our members more efficiently, and in a more personalized way. We've been able to improve our overall engagement, and are now able to iterate on our messages to continue to improve.
