What do you like best about the product?
Braze utilizes customer interactions as data that can fuel campaigns and marketing moments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze hasn't always been intuitive, but with every update, it is becoming more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is turning our massive database into a usable marketing machine. I especially love the ability to personalize and target based on custom events and custom attributes.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Braze allows me to set limits across all campaigns. This allows me to make sure members are not receiving too many communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could update the conversion events after launch! Also it would be great to be able to add in steps to canvases after launch as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows me to control the messaging across all channels and ensure the message is consistent. I also can build complex flows that enable us to send communications at various member touchpoints.

New Braze User with 3+ years previous ESP experience

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The accessibility and help of customer support is, in my experience, definitely the best aspect of Braze in comparison to it's competitors (Iterable, Hubspot, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI and UX is a bit cluttered and not as intuitive as Iterable and Hubspot. Searching for campaigns - it's difficult to quickly know which are completed - there is stopped/archived but those terms suggest a user purposely stopped/archived it. For example, under one time sends from months ago fall under All Active even though I consider them completed and not active.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multi channel journeys for marketing efforts. Braze helps us unlock the most effective channels for each customer.

Braze gets the job done

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We're able to send push, in-app message, email well. The learning curve is reasonably friendly — people can pick up the gist of it within a few days. It's well-integrated to other softwares as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
it has minimal analytical capabilities, in thus requires supplemental resourcing to drive business decisions. Good execution tool, a bit wanting as an analytics or reporting tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is helping us execute on CRM (Customer Relationship Management) needs. We want to reach our users via various channels, at specific points in their journey. Braze allows us to do that.

Quality product

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate all of our CRM channels, from email, app push, web push, and pop-ups, in one place is the best part. Once our company gets fully integrated, we'll be able to target our customer base much more effectively with Braze's help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be additional features added to customize emails a bit more. Sometimes the formatting is also easily affected or certain features do not work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is solving the problem of communicating with our users in the most effective and timely way.

Love it!

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are many things I love about Braze, but the qualities I like the most are the easy-to-use interface, the informational user guides, the quick setting up of campaigns and segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more tools available in the drag-and-drop template builder. For example, I can't change fonts or add additional code. Extras like that would make the experience worthwhile for someone who doesn't have much experience building templates with HTML/CSS and feels more comfortable using the drag-and-drop builder (such as an intern). Also, the reporting is so standard and a little janky. I would like to see more insights to analyze the results better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer relationships and engagement are tremendous for our company since we are subscription-based. Therefore, we must be in constant contact with our audiences, and Braze allows us to do that with email, SMS, and much more.

Braze is helping our cross-channel experience come alive

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard is highly transparent, and I feel I have complete control over the consumer flow within canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not connect well with 3rd party subscription centers to report unsubscribes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were not able to leverage the data before because our CDP is Segment and did not connect well with SFMC. With the segment to braze integration, we have data at our fingertips that we are actively using to segment our campaigns and push towards a true cross-channel marketing experience.

First time ESP user noticing apparent space for improvement

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how comprehensive braze is as a baseline tool, and the access with have with our customer success manager. It feels like a lot of our "crawl" and "walk" needs are satisfied with Braze (baseline email campaigns and canvas builds, content cards, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
The level of support for questions that feel like low-hanging fruit feels limiting and more cumbersome than needed. The how-to guidance outside of documentation is also lacking. There aren't many videos to support usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze broadly solves the need for developer support day-to-day to ship emails. It also gives us an alternative tool to track conversions within the marketing team.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting features have still a way to go in order to provide user with all the necessary data to fully evaluate the CRM performance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze helps us easily set up behavioral trigger based communication, which is very useful at delivery the right communication to the right user at the right time

    Broadcast Media

My Go-To CRM platform that gives our streaming org immense messaging and targeting power

  • September 13, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The targeting abilities give us the power to reach a designated audience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics in the dashboard must be improved. Currently, they have strong analytics around email, but needs to be also centered around push and IAM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to target messaging based on first-party data and zero-party data.
