What do you like best about the product?
Braze has a very user-friendly and elaborate interface. This gives marketers a lot of options to create messages easily, without needing a lot of help from development.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting options are somewhat limited so you need to build your own dashboarding to have a good overview of the performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Braze we can reach our customers across multiple channels easily with service updates and marketing notifications. Because everything is in the same platform you can manage contact pressure properly.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI makes it easy for marketers and engineers alike to work in the platform. Omnichannel coordination is second to none. This allows us to be able to interact with a customer on multiple pivot points in the customer's journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the canvas can get bogged down. I also believe there should be documentation points included in the UI of the platform. Easy way to review docs at certain things. Ie setting up webhooks, added app groups etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding use journey and the complexities of A/B testing. There are never enough methods, times and variations to A/B multiple different messaging across all of the channels.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Confirm that your legacy stack has a partner connection to Braze. This will make it easier to implement.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, good documentation, comprehensive offerings, ability to extend performance and capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support process is not very transparent, no ticketing system. Control groups and frequency caps are limited, and could be better optimised.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating personalised and effective marketing messaging to customers in many markets.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze will let you be super specific about targeting your audience, select conversion events and select segmented campaigns to measure different results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to have more options to track CTR and the ability to clone campaigns and canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Braze as another channel to engage with users on the CSR side.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Braze is their reliability. You do not need to worry about things breaking or messages not sending. Their reporting is accurate so you can trust that you're getting the best data to make decisions with.

Other cool benefits:
- Intuitive, clean interface that marketers will be comfortable navigating
- Powerful personalization powered by liquid
- Everything is near-realtime, from triggering a custom event to seeing that data back on the dashboard is mere seconds.
- Customer journey orchestration with Canvasses allow for detailed customer experiences and a set-it-once and forget it ability
What do you dislike about the product?
The features they build do not always align with the features that would be most useful to the marketer. They added an AI copywriting assistant that you could never genuinely use in production, but it sounds cool so that's probably why they did it. Their tech support is highly responsive, but has missed finding root-causes that our developers or even marketers have caught on their own, rendering them unhelpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting content and offers into the hands of customers at the right point in their journey, and getting massive amounts of data back to analyze and improve upon our marketing effectiveness. We are benefitting from clean data, highly segmentable and targetable audiences, and realtime triggers that create a unique journey and experience for every customer with minimal day-to-day manual intervention. This allows our marketing team to focus strategically and at a high level and not worry about keeping things running or dealing with issues, because with Braze everything just works!

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful, cutting edge system with a logical approach, intuitive design, very adaptive/customisable, ease to integrate 3rd parties and build/deploy campaigns/canvas. Great tools: Liquid, webhooks, content blocks, connected content, segments etc. Amazing feedback process, always evolving and improving current/releasing new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
FTP storage URL addresses cant be customised
Built-in email templates are not great
Some limitations within canvas that do not occur within campaigns
Built-in reporting tools are limited
On a few occasions, solutions required the creation of additional (billable) data points within Braze when it shouldn't have been required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Liquid & webhooks solve most problems I encounter in Braze and are extremely powerful and allow, for e.g. personalisation, conditional formating, automated processes and the creation of new data custom attributes/events without the need for engineering support.

What do you like best about the product?
Rapid product feature release and view into the product roadmap. Beta features are introduced after sessions and inputs from existing clients.

Easy to use and reliable event streaming and activation platform with good stability. Message personalization is on par with other leaders in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks some advanced customization functionality on the ingestion and classification layer like transformation/ mapping of data from raw data source.
The only option to ingest data from non-sdk sources is from the APIs. No out-of-the-box ETL/RETL exists within the product to pull data from external sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Known and anonymous user engagement with multiple channels via robust and personalized journeys. External integrations via webhooks are easy and can push data into most external systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a malleable platform, able to be tailored exactly to your business's broader infrastructure.
Snowflake data sharing enables you to link customer's behaviours and engagement with any personal or financial details that you may have sitting in other systems.
Communications are fully customisable (HTML friendly), allow you to implement complex logic to create personalised messaging and experiences based on a user's data, and span across a range of channels (not just traditional SMS and email).
IP's are your responsibility to manage, so your deliverability isn't harmed by other brands not holding to best practice.
Documentation is fantastic and readily available; layout of user interface is extremely intuitive and makes for easy upskilling.
Live support is always available when you need it, answers are relevant, timely, and bespoke to your business's requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multiple users can't work on the same template simultaneously (can lead to work being overwritten if communication between teams isn't clear on deployments).
Can't delete certain things, only archive.
Would be nice if canvas layouts weren't so rigid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've shifted from 50% deliverability of core messages to almost 100% overnight. This has raised our core conversions to purchase in some cases by 20% (some of the biggest increases we've ever seen).
Previously our data wasn't centralised or consistent in format. Shifting to Braze has allowed us to really clean up our data structures.
We'd never been able to send tailored messaging prior to working with Braze - now we can have one template work for multiple products and customer life stages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you get Braze, I'd recommend investing in Snowflake as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze has all the functionality I need to maximize the performance and retention of users within my app. It allows me to easily create campaigns and flows that seamlessly switch between multiple channels liks email, SMS, in-app messages, and push notifications. The new user-friendly features like the drag & drop email builder make campaign creation easier than ever before.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tools and analytics within the platform could use some improvement. It should be easy to create custom reports across multiple channels, dates, and objective types - almost like creating audience segments, however, the report builder is quite limited and difficult to master. It is also difficult to be agile and quick when it comes to creating new custom events if/when a new app feature is released. As someone with a non-technical background, that would be a huge help to me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Braze, we can solve simple problems such as reminding users to finish an activity or giving us feedback with simple surveys. I have realized the level of intricacy one can create when designing the user journey via canvases.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The support team is so talented and quick to respond to my tickets, day or night! They have helped me with simple, high level tasks as well as extremely intricate use cases that had no precedence. Their support team really does a fantastic job to ensure minimal hiccups during any project.
