Superior multi-channel orchestration platform for engaging customers at scale

What do you like best about the product?
It is by far one of the most sophisticated and comprehensive platforms for orchestrating multiple customer engagement channels at scale. Build over an easy orchestration and A/B testing framework, it is a must-have for any organisation with multiple customer touchpoints and CRM channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a definite scalability issue to leverage out-of-the-box solutions on email & in-app templates. These cannot be fully customized without product and engineering support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since customer journeys are not linear, we use Braze as our customer engagement platform to engage customers across channels, such as email, in-app, push & content cards.

Most of our campaigns are testing something - either a subject line, best time to send etc, which enables us to drive a continuous uplift across all our lifecycle programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is critical to get early buy-in from engineering and product teams in order to drive the scalability and adoption of Braze.

What do you like best about the product?
AI, customizable features, and reporting dashboard
What do you dislike about the product?
Email is lacking in functionality compared to other tools, but it is catching up over time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having communication sent from all one platform, both marketing and transactional. A huge benefit is frequency capping so that users are not over-communicated with.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a very easy service to integrate with. Also, it's not hard at all to train persons from different company areas (Marketing, BI, etc).

One thing that we value is the evolution on the service documentation and UI. Since we started to use it, their portal really evolved and the documentation got so much better. It's now way easier to find something on their docs.

Also, Braze is always up to date with each platform updates, they are great communicating when a SDK has to be updated in order to be align with new platform constraints (iOS / Android).
What do you dislike about the product?
It was very hard, in the beginning, to integrate with the In App notification feature. The documentation was not helpful and, after a while, we were able to figure out, with the help of Braze's team, that it behaves differently on Google Play Android devices vs Amazon Android devices.

Also, it was hard to find some help from Braze's support in the begin, but this got better after a while. They really improved their support area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It made our life easier to create marketing campaigns that we can use to target users on Mobile Devices, E-mail campaigns, our web apps, etc.

The other problem we were able to solve was training Marketing and Data guys into multiple different tools. With Braze's very intuitive UI, we can easily train them and get rid of many other Marketing tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is pretty intuitive and easy to pick up. Braze makes testing pretty simple, and visually helps me to create and understand elaborate user experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love Braze's reporting functionalities. I don't find them to be as neat or as broken out as I would hope for them to be. Right now my team and I are heavily reliant on Braze's "tagging" feature to build elaborate reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're helping to convert and retain users above all. We're providing personalized, intuitive experiences that deliver the right comms at the right time. Intelligent timing has been a game-changer for us.

What do you like best about the product?
How simple the platform is to use, you can easily see what is going out where and to who. Love the multi-channel capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is limited - for example they only record up to 50k transactions which makes it hard to track performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acquiring more customers through email testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
easy to learn and use, great ESP to start with.

What do you like best about the product?
It's app-based, so it's logical and easy to manage the features to create better flows. The settings in every step are handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
They only had HTML features in the email setting and template section, so it was a little complicated, or it forced us to use other tools. Still, they are interested in their customers, always asking and listening, trying to improve, so now they release the drag and drop feature, although I haven't been able to try it. We have an issue that won't allow our platform to migrate.
Although you always get an answer on the Braze Support, it's a little bit tired and slow to submit a ticket every time you have a doubt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said before, I'm currently trying to migrate our platform to have the Drag & Drop feature available.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would love a feature that shows me how many unique users I have on Android and how many on iOS

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with any platform, such as native apps or web.
Communicating with our customers, in a non-intrusive way, was never this easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still trying to figure this one out! It's hard to push Braze to the limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From regular in-app notifications, to push-notifications to alert customers of certain events that they subscribed to... Even creating proofs of concept with in-app messages' AB-testing capabilities to evaluate the success of such interaction. Possibilities are endless.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface makes building customer journeys more approachable to digital marketers of varying skill levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email builder could use some work, although there is a major feature release coming that should solve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze has helped us ditch disparate platforms that were difficult to sync together and roll out a unified multi-channel marketing platform with sales and coupon tracking capability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a platform that excels at multi-channel customer engagement, is relatively easy to implement and onboarding is solid, then I highly recommend Braze. The platform doesn't try to be everything under the one roof, rather, it does one thing exceptionally well, and that is customer engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
All customer communication channels available to use and the excellent support we have received from all different contact areas we have. There is also easy ways to conduct testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating emails is still very dependent on HTML code to be able to customize the content. I would appreciate a more user-friendly interface. Getting a good overview of ongoing activities is difficult to get in the Braze dashboard, needs to be aggregated and visualized by ourselves using data from Braze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Braze, we can deliver much more relevant customer communication thanks to available communication channels, a possible multi-channel approach, different options for setting the timing of sending the communication, personalized content, and action-triggered communication.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze LAB, without a doubt. This is something I have enjoyed and it helped me learn the product and improve my Marketing Ops skills. And the best part, it's not only for beginners and super helpful just to go back and refresh your knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really think that the Canvas building process can be simpler or better visualized. I don't have a direct recommendation on how to do this, but sometimes when building a complex user journey, it can get confusing for both the builders and those looking at the finished product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, we are reaching out to every registered customer through Braze and it has helped us by allowing us to use braze on 3 different channels: Email, Push, and InApp. It's super useful to be able to use one tool for all relevant channels and to be able to create multi-channel content.
