Extremely powerful and easy to use once setup correctly

What do you like best about the product?
The segmentation and personalization tools are extremely robust, but still easy to use, which is a combination that is hard to find in the marketing tool world. I found myself and our Email Marketing Manager being pleasantly surprised throughout our onboarding process when trying to do a task with a few clicks when in our previous email tool would require data analyst help.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't really a problem with Braze itself, but in order to get to a place where usability is described as above, we iterated on our event process and attribution mapping many times. We had a team of engineers that worked on the implementation without input from the marketing and product side of the equation, so some of the setup was not usable from an end-user perspective. Again, totally on us but we are still seeing residual effects pop up in terms of the issues with our initial implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run all of our customer communications through Braze. From onboarding to upsell campaigns, we are utilizing our event stream with Braze via Segment to create user journeys that are based on activity (or lack there of) vs time, which allows us to create more sophisticated and data driven journeys.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Braze is an important piece of our engagement marketing efforts, it is a great and easy tool to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is extremely easy to use. The way the tool is set up is great for creating campaigns and the data received is easy to comprehend. The tool has helped our marketing efforts and ties into our workflow with great ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still adjusting to the app, however, there are a few details I wish were implemented such as intelligent timing is not a canvas feature. This would be helpful to have as an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to create user engagement through our mobile app, and Braze has helped us test out different ways to further optimize our campaign efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze enables you to get incredibly complex with your customer engagement, leveraging tons of data and real-time events to shape how you engage your customer base.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation is complicated and has big implications on your MAUs and Data points, both of which impact your cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding, activation, and ongoing customer engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you invest the time and resource to implement properly. Push Braze hard throughout the onboarding process to make sure everything is flowing smoothly and properly. Expect to need eng resources after implementation to fix anything new you discover is problematic and add additional data to braze.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is extremely powerful and can create almost any customer journey you can imagine. Once you have connected the right events to their platform, you are able to trigger messages and progressions for any action a customer takes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few connections within canvas that currently are not present. These are more niche, but it would be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lifecycle Marketing, CRM. We have seen a significant increase in return attendance and retention of our users. We have seen improvements in both new payer engagement and return payer engagement with the platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a powerful CRM platform, then you will be happy with Braze.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is amazing, it helps me do analysis by running surveys and marketing campaigns. Creating and executing a campaign is fairly simple as well as tracking and measuring. Braze provides you with real-time numbers on open and conversion rate, projects revenue and impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm using braze for an year now and I love it, don't have anything to complain about!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organize and execute marketing campaigns and collect feedback by running surveys

I highly recommend it for running marketing campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze made it possible for my team to consolidate a multitude of different marketing tools all under one roof. Having legacy communications firing from Marketo, Mandrill, Mailchimp, Intercom, and Localytics, I was able to completely migrate those communications to Braze and have them all work together.

While the product itself is stellar, what makes Braze world-class is the support that comes with it. I've never worked with a team that is so involved in making sure you are set up for success and willingly rises to the occasion when help is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only area for improvement worth mentioning would be improvements to the UI and building of some campaigns. I have no doubt however that as the company continues to grow, these will all be ironed out in time.

With Braze being a growing team, it's been really inspirational sharing product feedback to Customer Success and Product Managers and actually see this feedback get woven into the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-channel marketing to ensure top of funnel metrics and drive down-funnel conversion of our core product and up-sell opportunities to nurture users to adopt our mobile banking product. Braze serves as our primary tool for customer retention strategy through the use of automated reengagement campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When looking to upgrade your marketing tools to a 21st century product, Braze is going to get you there.

What do you like best about the product?
Really diverse range of products that have helped our department grow and be able to make data-based decisions. There's no limit to what you can do with Braze and it's been a really important instrumental tool for measuring engagement and retention. Really helpful team that is dedicated to helping companies grow!
What do you dislike about the product?
With such a large ecosystem, it can take a bit of time to understand each product fully and be able to use each tool to the fullest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to fully develop A/B testing schedule and pulls data quick and our team has been able to automate many campaigns and advance our strategies!

What do you like best about the product?
Braze functionality custom properties for customers profile is great. Braze event trigger is also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
A/B testing has to start from the beginning. There is no way to A/B test at certain step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
personalization. We realized there was still lot of cross-functional resources to make it work.

Great tool. need strong in house development, marketing resources to continue optimize every day.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is extremely user friendly. It has a great combination of extensive capabilities while having a user friendly experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had template options while building emails. I wish I could save certain blocks when editing in html.

It really helps us communicate different messages to unique users based on different attributes.
