What do you like best about the product?
A complete Endpoint Protection for macOS devices and a market leader in macOS security.
What do you dislike about the product?
All good for me. There is nothing which we dont like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes our macOS environment free from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect works great!!! It allows us to go further with our customers to meet their security requirements and allows us to have more control over out devices!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike of course with every software there is always the annoying quirks but in this case it is nothing major, Protect is pretty polished.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to control data caps and have better security on our devices, also the web filtering is another great addition that beneifits the company as a whole as a customer requirement.

I can see on the dashboard all i need and if anything is outdated or if i have ISSUES

I would love it if Jamf Safe internet was intigrated into jamf protect. So i dont have to use a 3rd party

To keep track of the MOBILE device macbooks more then the imacs

What do you like best about the product?
How easily it integrates into Jamf Pro and keeps track of our CIS compliance metrics
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI isn't always the snappiest and the documentation could be more robust and consolidated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to track CIS compliance metrics as well as gain insight on Privileges escalations and other analytics, both native and custom.

What do you like best about the product?
To have the possibility detect and prevent security risks. Also the easy deployment with Jamf Pro is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
To have all the security options you have to also go to the Radar Portal which is a little bit more time consuming than to rather have one console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have f.e. the oppurtunity to apply USB Restrictions and to monitor CIS Benchmarks and other security components. It benefits the trust of the managements to the users and that we can monitor compliance of the fleet.

Security tool actually designed for the Apple ecosystem

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect is a security tool designed with macOS in mind as compared with most of Protects competitors. Integrates perfecly with all of Apple's built in tools and just expands upon the existing abbilities. Tie-in with Jamf Pro allow for building out automation of threat response and collection of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
So for far the only complaint is that it does not report compliance on controls similar to those used by our orginization, only CIS Benchmarks but I do beleive they are working to resolve this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a securty tool that is currently being used in addition to our exisitng tools. It allows us controls more geared towards the macOS ecosystem.

shows a lot of info from the host info that is ussauly not shows in other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
the terms used by the vendor to descrive diffrent settings can be somewhat unclear. lacks some Active actions.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect is an Apple-only product which provides incredible security, allowing you to implement security policies, at different CIS levels.

The dashboard shows each CIS level of every computer, if it is compliant or not.

It is also an EDR
What do you dislike about the product?
Wandera Radar is not built into Jamf Protect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have only started using it, but a big problem that it has solved was blocking USB ports and restricting & deleting non-company-approved applications.

What do you like best about the product?
The assurance the kit is up to scratch before connecting to the corporate network

The fact that we can't build a laptop if the corporate network uses certificates to Authenticate the connection.

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect is a powerful endpoint protection solution and provides detailed audit logs that allow administrators to track all activity on a device. This is useful for monitoring and investigating security incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
the hurdle to dealing with jamf protect is relatively large at the beginning. one feels partially overwhelmed and does not yet see well through the web interface. If you delete a device in jamf pro it still exists in jamf Protect. :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with jamf protect it is possible to get a complete overview of all devices and whether they are compliant. you can also see very well what cis level the devices are at and where you need to sharpen them if necessary
