Is all about mac
What do you like best about the product?
The assurance the kit is up to scratch before connecting to the corporate network
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that we can't build a laptop if the corporate network uses certificates to Authenticate the connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not sure what your after with this question. You know the purpose of jamf connect

Jamf Protect
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect is a powerful endpoint protection solution and provides detailed audit logs that allow administrators to track all activity on a device. This is useful for monitoring and investigating security incidents.
What do you dislike about the product?
the hurdle to dealing with jamf protect is relatively large at the beginning. one feels partially overwhelmed and does not yet see well through the web interface. If you delete a device in jamf pro it still exists in jamf Protect. :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
with jamf protect it is possible to get a complete overview of all devices and whether they are compliant. you can also see very well what cis level the devices are at and where you need to sharpen them if necessary

What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect is an endpoint protection software solution designed and built to work with MacOS. Its ease of use and deployment is only matched by the performance of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Convincing our security team that defender is not the best solution for mac devices and that Jamf protect is not only more secure, better performance and nattaive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had been using Microsoft Defender on our mac systems which is not built for mac systems. Defenders performance is a drag on our devices and at over 700Mb is a hefty piece of software to deploy at enrollment compared to Jamf Protects 27Mb
Jamf Protect For the Win
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Protect allows administrators a unique view into the company's computer resources at a level others don't give
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial configuration can be cumbersome, but deployment with Jamf Pro integration is so easy!

Recording behaviors, preventing malicious activity from running, providing CIS benchmark insights!
Solved our endpoint security problem for our Macs
What do you like best about the product?
It actually works, unlike the endpoint security software our campus uses. Sure, the other software installs on the Mac but it doesn't do anything. We were having issues getting it to activate. Jamf Protect solved this problem so we switched to using it on our Mac fleet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything that we don't like yet. I don't expect we will find anything that we dislike about it. It's really easy to set it up and let it work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our current campus endpoint security software was built for Windows machines. They moved into supporting Macs recently, but the software has been full of bugs and problems from the very beginning of us using them. They didn't have support for the new M1 processors when they arrived from Apple, and to this day still don't support the Apple processors. That's just ridiculous that they haven't evolved their software, but claim they support Macs. Jamf Protect took care of this big problem for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple the system is to use, it's not too hard to understand once explained to you. I also like the simplistic integration it takes to function with Jamf Pro. It's just a couple of steps and it's ready to go. Everything is simple to read with all the important information we security admins need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not a lot to dislike, maybe just the fact that it's not in jamf pro. It's hard to dislike a program that just works well and not only that but is simple to use for anyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved our MasOS environment issue with remaining secure. MacOS is already fairly secure but with jamf protect, it's close to being bulletproof from the average attack. There are many different benefits to this system but the best one is how easy it is to receive alerts.
“Set & Forget” protection for corporate devices - brilliant!
What do you like best about the product?
I recently started trialling Jamf Protect for our corporate devices as we already use Jamf Now to manage our devices. It is truly wonderful; just click a few buttons in Jamf Now & it seamlessly installed on all of our corporate devices. I love that it just sits in the background & works its magic without the user even knowing that it's there or affecting device performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found a single thing not to like about Jamf Protect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf Protect has given me even more confidence that our corporate devices are secure from incoming threats.

Endpoint protection for MacOS
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy its to deploy to endpoints, and how easy it is to become protected. The user interface works well for both the advanced user as well as for those who just want things to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works best deployed from an MDM system, as there is some system requirements from Apple that only can be deployed from MDM. Some of the integration redemiation workflows as well could be somewhat better documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me a good insight into the security standard in our fleet, as well as it gives a good starting point to set a security standard. Other than that, the endpoint protection works well. and the signature protection works out of the box.

What do you like best about the product?
First-ever product built for macOS, unlike windows based product installed on mac devices as we have a surplus of licenses. A lightweight client with an excellent UI dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
To Install the Jamf Protect client, you need to have an MDM solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue is with other vendors is they are not ready, or they cannot support a new major macOS version on Day 1. Jamf Protect gives us the ability to test out the latest macOS major versions since Beta and they support Jamf Protect on new macOS version since Day1
