  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Tines as our primary automation platform to streamline repetitive processes, reduce manual effort, and improve overall operational efficiency across teams. It really helps to connect and automate workflows and build powerful processes without relying on engineering resources. Tines strikes a great balance between flexibility and usability, making it suitable for both technical and non-technical users. I find it super appealing that I can automate complex workflows across different tools without needing developer help, which makes it clean and manageable and saves me a lot of time by taking over repetitive tasks. This feature helps me move much faster and act on ideas immediately, saving time and giving me more control over my work. Even the initial setup was straightforward, especially with the visual interface, and once past the initial phase, everything became very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tines is really powerful and good for someone, the initial learning curve can be a bit steep, especially if you're not familiar with API or automation tools. Also, debugging complex workflows can sometimes be tricky. It's not a major issue, but I feel that a bit more beginner-friendly feature would improve the overall experience.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Tines to automate repetitive tasks, like everyday emails and reminders, which saves me a lot of time and boosts my productivity. I appreciate the pre-built templates that Tines provides for various applications, especially for Google Sheets, where it offers pre-built actions for different tasks like writing, bulk writing, and clearing rows. The initial setup was very easy, which is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tines' built-in AI workflow creation feature is nice, but most of the times it doesn't work as expected for me. It directly makes changes to workflows. It would be nice if it shows what changes it will do and we can have reiterative talks to perfect the output.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tines to automate repetitive tasks and reminder emails, saving time and boosting productivity.

Flexible Automation with Some Learning Hurdles

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Tines can automate security and operational workflows, making it a massive time-saver. The flexibility stands out, allowing us to create workflows that fit our team's needs instead of forcing us into rigid templates. I appreciate the intuitive interface, especially the story-based workflow builder that makes visualizing steps easy. Integrating with multiple APIs is a huge advantage, letting us connect to various tools. The concept of 'stories' adds immense value by turning complex automation into visual flows, aiding in faster automation building and simpler debugging. This feature also enhances collaboration as team members can understand and contribute to workflows easily. The platform's reliability and transparency are fantastic. Seeing each workflow step and data movement makes troubleshooting less frustrating. I also value the ease of reusing and extending workflows, which compounds the platform's value. The combination of flexibility, clarity, and reliability really makes Tines stand out for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tines has been really valuable overall, there are a few areas where I think it could be improved. One challenge is the initial learning curve. Even though the interface is visual, building effective workflows still requires a solid understanding of APIs, data structures, and how different systems interact. For someone new to automation, it can take a bit of time to become fully comfortable and productive. Another area is debugging at scale. While individual stories are easy to follow, when workflows become large and highly interconnected, it can get a bit harder to trace issues across multiple stories. Some additional tooling or better visualization for cross-story dependencies would make troubleshooting even smoother. Error handling and observability could also be enhanced. Although you can see where a step fails, setting up robust retry logic, conditional fallbacks, or centralized monitoring sometimes requires extra effort. More built-in patterns or templates for these scenarios would be helpful. In terms of integrations, while the API-first approach is powerful, it can also mean more manual setup compared to tools that offer a large library of plug-and-play connectors. For common services, having more prebuilt integrations could save time, especially for less technical users. Lastly, documentation and onboarding resources are good, but they could be more structured for different skill levels—like clearer guided paths for beginners vs. advanced users. That would make adoption faster across teams with mixed experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tines to automate security workflows, saving time by reducing manual labor. It enriches alerts, ensures process consistency, and scales operations without extra hires. Tines provides visibility, aiding swift problem-solving, with a flexible interface that integrates seamlessly into our existing toolset.

Streamlined Recruitment with Minor Learning Curve

  • April 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Tines to streamline my daily recruitment and operational workflows. It helps reduce the need for timely follow-ups and makes sure the hiring process moves faster. The automation features are fantastic for keeping everything organized and reducing turnaround time, enhancing efficiency and making the workflow more seamless. I like its user-friendly interface that automates complex processes without feeling complicated. The integration with multiple tools is a huge plus, making recruitment operations easier and more efficient. The clean interface allows team members without a technical background to make small changes and track activities without needing constant engineering support.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the learning curve when setting up more advanced workflow. While the basic interface is quite user-friendly, some complex automations can take a bit of time to fully understand, especially for team members who are new to the platform. Apart from that, it would be great to have even more ready-to-use templates or use case examples for recruitment and operations workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tines automates repetitive recruitment processes, reducing manual effort and turnaround time. It helps streamline candidate updates and follow-ups, making the hiring process faster and more efficient. The tool also integrates with other software, improving overall workflow management and minimizing task delays.
